Cancelled numerous appointments with my grandauggter then when she missed one appointment and late for a second they removed her from the practice.Rarely answer the phone takes a lifetime to get through, appalling service

Rodericks have taken over a local dentist practice and retained the name even though neither of the former partners remain associated with the practice.
The name is all that has remained the same, everything else is about money. Aesthetics and private care are the new mantras .
De personalised and depressing, care has gone out the window and standards of treatment have fallen.
No interest in tooth health or dental protection all focus is on expensive aesthetic treatments.
I had a check up recently, I pointed out a missing filling. Under the old partners, this would have been filled, there and then.
With Rodericks, I had to have a second appointment.
No preparation of the tooth, not even cleaned or dried. Amalgam was put in the hole, I was told it might last or might not. The process took about 5 minutes and I was charged at the second nhs tier. So, £40.00 for five minutes.
Corporate greed has replaced a friendly, caring local service.
Miss one appointment and you lose your nhs privileges, forcing you to go private.
Update . The filling , done on Tuesday fell out the following Friday.
I went back and this time the job was done properly,
I hope this one lasts.

Dentist kept sanding off filing I had to keep asking her to re do it. Although this is NHS dentist I am not on her or a friend's list anymore. This is not NHS procedure and I was refused emergency appointment when I needed it.

They cancelled the first emergency appointment and offered another three weeks later. This was supposed to be an NHS appointment but on the day of the second appointment they informed him it was private and said he should not have been able to book an NHS one. This is clearly their mistake. Despite letting him book an NHS appointment nearly a month in advance (for an emergency!) they would not uphold the appointment. They refused to see him unless he paid privately, which he was not expecting and cannot afford, and did not inform him of this until the day of the appointment. They had plenty of time to clarify this with him beforehand.

Registered via online portal after checking on the NHS website that the practice was taking on NHS patients. I required an emergency appointment due to a broken tooth. It was easy to book, and I gave them all my details regarding my NHS number, medical conditions, and medication. The following day, I received a text canceling my appointment. I called the practice, and after 6 minutes in the queue, I took the call-back option. No one has called back.

I've tried several times to book a dental appointment with The Elms Dental Practice in Northampton over the phone, after receiving numerous text reminders to book an appointment. But everytime I call, my call is never answered. The phone just rings & rings & rings! This was never a problem when the practice was NHS! I refuse to use the so called app to book an appointment & expect better customer service from a Private dental practice.

Very pleased with our service and treatment. Staff very informative and friendly.

To expensive and will not allow patients time to get the money together especially when on benefits.

Great team but I was waiting 35 minutes. Furst appointment hopefully will be on time next time. Having said that couldn't fault dentist

Did a really good job of repairing a gold crown that had come out.

The dentist explained to me what was going to happen and was very reassuring

A properly working admin and appointments system would be a good start. My experience was seamless until you took over the practice.

I have been on an NHS ‘waiting list’ with Street Lane Dental Practice for over five years. They can’t even be bothered to verify that I am still on their list. They put an advertisement on Facebook Dec 2025 saying they were accepting NHS patients. This was a lie. The only way an NHS patient could get any treatment was to pay for emergency treatment or to pay private rates. The dental practice send me links to their private dental services. Why should I pay private when I have paid NI all my life? I also pay for NHS dental treatment. Now they want me to pay for private dental treatment as well. There was some talk about NI contributions across our lifetimes being used to provide a service. This isn’t a service. Labour are attempting to sort this ongoing con job out.
