Great communication, I put in a query on a cruise & was called back within 15 minutes by a very knowledgeable customer service lady, who checked out some prices for me then took my booking, all very quick and simple.

It is with regret that I write a review on a company that otherwise, from other reviews, appears to have impeccable credentials.
My wife and I booked a cruise with ROL for P&O on the 25th April 2024 paying a 530 pounds deposit. Unbeknown to us at the point of booking we had mistakenly booked for September 2026 instead the intended September 2025. Realising the mistake we contacted ROL within a couple of days of making the booking with the intention of rebooking for our required dates with the same or another cruise line and for 2025, again with ROL. In the extreme if nothing suited then possibly a refund of our deposit. We were advised that there could not be a refund and that we could only book another cruise with the same cruise line at the same or a higher price. As it transpired no other cruise with P&O suited us for destination or time.
We understand the small print and T's & C's and all that but we are of the view having inadvertently booked a cruise two and a half years in advance, as that is what September 2026 would have been at the time of booking, that ROL could have been a lot more sympathetic and benevolent in their response. As it stands and up to recently, we have found nothing with P&O that suits our timescale and as pensioners we have now lost our deposit. We are of the opinion that ROL could have done much more to have resolved our issue having realised the mistake so early in the proceedings. We are very disappointed in the outcome of our unfortunate experience.

My call was answered quickly. The lady I spoke to was very helpful & our cruise was booked without any hassle. Good experience as usual with ROL. Would recommend ROL.

ROL always fast efficient helpful. I have found they give the less expensive deals very often with free incentives included. They also seem to have a selection of cabins whereas some other companies only have a few cabins which are not in the position I prefer. Simply the best for price with extras

Booking process usually goes without hitch

I liked everything about my booking experience. I booked two cruises with Ambassador cruise line. Ambassador cancelled one of the cruises booked for 2027 because they had a 'better offer', of a private charter.

I am very unhappy with Ambassador and have had no constructive response from them. Rol cruise should complain loudly to them imo or preferably stop selling their cruises. Ambience has a 1400 capacity. The cancelled cruise was booked by around 1000 people imo. Dumped unceremoniously by the greedy management.

AI response to what Ambassador have done.

For September 2027, a full private charter of the Ambience cruise ship is highly unlikely to be available because Ambassador Cruise Line has already scheduled and opened public bookings for commercial itineraries during this exact window. To charter the entire ship privately, a client typically must secure the vessel before public deployment schedules are released or negotiate a buyout prior to significant ticket sales.
