Rome Tech Teac. team Checked the Order with me to confirm what I was ordering , which was reassuring.

Great fit, tough shell, holster works great. This is my 3rd Rome Tech phone case, so you can see I love them. New phone = new case!

I don't know about any other Rome Tech cases, only the one I purchased. There were about 4 areas that I feel should be improved...

1. The ring kickstand is too weak (the stop or detente) to use with phone in stand up or portrait orientation. For one thing, the angle is too low and it can barely hold the phone up until you press on the phone screen, then it collapses, so pretty useless in that regard but it works fine in the horizontal/landscape orientation.

2. The raised lip around the screen is too short/shallow/low. It's maybe 1mm at best and that simply is not high enough to provide adequate screen droppage protection. With a lip that low, if phone is dropped onto a hard surface that has any bumps or pebbles more than about 1mm, good chance screen will get broken if otherwise unprotected. For better protection, I think lip needs to be at least 2 to 3 mm high. After all, it's billed as a hybrid/tank kind of case...

3. The push buttons on this case are ridiculously, insanely too hard to push. It's the 1st time I've ever seen a case where the push buttons are so hard to push so I know it's not necessary or inherent to be this way. The actual phone buttons themselves are extremely east to push, so obviously, the case construction is the problem. It's so hard that it hurts to push them. Luckily, my phone has a setting that allows me to give the phone a little shake to awaken the screen and I think hey google will turn up and down the volume, but it's not as convenient as easy push buttons. Also have to use to shut phone off or start up, so I absolutely have to find another case that mitigates these issues.

4. Lastly, the price was much higher than the exact same case that is easily found all over the internet, temu, aliexpress, etc. I found same case listed for anywhere from about $4 to $8. So for around $12 I think I paid, I think the improvements are warranted.

5. One last thing I forgot is there are tons of cases out there of the same type, which have a sliding door for camera lens protection, but for some odd reason, this one looks like it does, but it doesn't.

All that said, seller was helpful to me once we got past some communication issues and issued me a full refund. For some reason, it's difficult to find a case for this phone model of the hybrid tank type. They all look to be the exact same case. So I'm still looking. I the meantime, I hope I don't drop the phone and break the screen. Most of the other cases like this one are not only considerably cheaper but they almost all come with 1 or more tempered glass screen protectors. I had a hard time finding protectors for this exact model, in fact, I could not find any, but a seller who listed protectors for a TCL 40 xe (no 5g in the model name), said that was same and would fit so I ordered and looks like the will fit but not edge to edge. So that will protect hopefully, until I can find a good hybrid case.

I have other fones I will be buying cases from them from now on.. I will be buying another new cell with a new Rome case with holster..

The pricing was fair and the unit was delivered on time. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for me because I had more issues than I thought. Otherwise, I do recommend the product.
