It's been great working with RONIN
and the way they are rewarding participants is excellent.
I would like to suggest RONIN to increase the flow of studies related to science/yoga/health/education

I completed the survey and i was paid less than a week after adding my payment method. Good.

I am leaving this 1-star review because it has been over 2 months since I redeemed my Amazon gift card and I still have not received it. My emails have also been ignored, which is very frustrating.
If Ronin Studies resolves this issue and sends my reward promptly, I will gladly update and change my review. But right now, this experience has been disappointing due to the long delay and lack of communication.

Market research side of things is ok but beware - you will have to chase to ever be paid. Several months later, I have yet to see any sign of my promised £70 Amazon voucher...

Would advice experts to steer clear from Ronin Studies, as appears to be a complete scam. I have now had issues with rewards twice: first one when they took over 9 months in awarding one; and just now, where they say the answers to a survey "did not pass their quality control". Having worked with other companies in this space, this all looks like a way of getting answers at no cost whilst getting paid by who commissions them

It was nice to be part of the study. The process of setting the interviews was confusing though, because it seemed that the people in the process didn't comunicated with each other. Other than that, everyone was nice and helpfull. The payment was also done and the support team was able to help me with difficulties.

Communication was excellent and relevant. Everyone I spoke with was polite and respectful and I felt valued and that my opinion mattered.

As others have mentioned, they could improve on their payment procedure as it required a number of prompts before payment was made. That said, they were responsive and I did receive the payment in the end. Had it not been for this slight hiccup, I would have scored 5.

I received an invitation to participate in a RONIN-led study through LinkedIn. The study was straightforward and required no significant time commitment. The company claims they aim to issue payment within 30 days after you provide your preferred payment method. However, I received the payment to my PayPal account nearly 40 days after submitting my information. Despite this delay, I would work with them again!

I had a very disappointing experience with Ronin. I participated in a marketing and advertising survey back in August, and it took four months just to receive payment.

Later, I was invited to complete two follow-up surveys worth $55 and $40. I completed both in January, but I have never been paid for them. I also did not receive any responses to my follow-up emails.

At this point, I feel forced to report this to the Better Business Bureau and online fraud authorities. I would strongly caution anyone considering participating in their surveys—this has been frustrating and unreliable.

Whether or not you get paid is hit or miss. Even if you do, you still have to chase payment endlessly. I am still awaiting a payment I have been chasing for months.

I completed a survey for project 85386, but I have not received any payment after one month. This company cannot meet its own deadline and has not answered my email. I am able to prove my previous employment that was needed to answer the survey questions.

4/13 update: Gift card was processed, but later than stated.

Ronin are poor payers.
I do surveys for about 3 companies that generally pay on completion. Sometimes someone calls you because of a spelling error and holds payment to do corrections, but they eventually pay you 2-3 days later. Ronin Don’t. You will do your survey, 4 weeks later still not paid. You’ll contact them but unless you can give them the survey number (as if you’d write it down?) they can’t help you. If you find something the response will be that you’ll be paid when the survey closes and they verify all results and 3 monthes later you’ll still chase them. Don’t waste your time on these guys. Do newton or GLG instead. It took me 4 months!

Ronin are just about the worst professional survey organisation for timely payment. Not only are there long waits for research to conclude (over a month) before you can request payment, but after selecting your payment method it can be another month before you see the money. Compare this to their competitors like NortonX or GLG, who pay you instantly or immediately after selecting payment method. Ronin are also very poor at replying if you enquire where your payment is. Come on Ronin sort it out. Good people won't want to work with you which means clients won't select you as you have a poor panel of experts. I'm waiting on two payments £35 and £25 if you can expedite them.

Haven’t received payment after several months. Be prepared to spend more time following up payment than doing the survey.

OK – so, market research online. First question: is it a scam? Are they really going to pay what they say, or am I about to find my face cloned and used to rob digital banks or buy yachts in the Bahamas? Or is it all actually above board…

In my case, it was genuinely fine. I did a really pleasant, interesting online interview with a very nice bloke called S****, who seemed genuinely happy with my answers and didn’t once ask for my first pet’s inside leg measurement or my great grand-mother’s maiden name.

Payment-wise, no drama, no nonsense – just what was promised, when it was promised. And as a bonus, I’m quietly hoping that when this mysterious “thing” they’re working on finally launches, I’ll be on the mailing list for an early-bird offer I can snaffle for the charity I work for.

I was contacted by them several times about participating in surveys and was promised $50. After completing one over a year ago, I still have not been paid and have received no follow-up communication. I've attempted to reach out multiple times with no response. I would stay away from this company.

We scheduled a call, I kept that slot free only for them, and they just did not call
I then wrote an email and they re-scheduled the call… we’ll see the follow-up

They were prompt and responsive with regard to payment issues. Would be happy to work with them again

On Friday, January 30, 2026, I received notification that a reward of $40 was waiting on me. I selected PayPal as my reward choice, and it has been almost 2 weeks, and I still have not received it.

I did an initial survey about 2 months prior and was never paid for it. This company owes me a total of $80 for two completed surveys.

On this past Monday, February 9th, a representative emailed me asking if I had colleagues/friends who may be interested in participating in their studies. I responded back by inquiring about my incentive and payment for the first survey that I participated in that I never received payment for, in addition to the survey I am still awaiting payment for, and guess what? I was ghosted and did not receive a response back! Seemingly this company does not pay for the time and efforts participants put into their surveys.
