I loved my experience with ronin, the team was extremely helpful with any doubts i had and helped me claim my incentive when I had a wrong account for payment! Will definitely work with them again when needed.

No Reward After Taking RONIN Technology in News Sector Online Survey
RONIN sent me an email about taking part in a research study. After spending close to a half hour of my time sharing my insights about the newsroom enviornment and AI usage. After collecting all of my data after giving thoughtful answers from start to finish, I was told that I do not qualify. For these types of things, this usually happens at the very beginning: not after a user has successfully completed a survey. This institution is very shady and just one of the reasons why there is a lack of trust in today's world. Stay away from the emails, and save your time and energy. If the company makes this right, I will update my review to reflect how this develops in real time.

35 minutes in, they told me it didn't apply
I just recently spent nearly 35 minutes filling out a survey for Ronin to get to one of the last questions and they told me it wasn't applicable for me. Very untrustworthy interaction and I felt used for information.

Complete lack of communication
The studies themselves were well-crafted and straightforward to complete. Unfortunately, the experience was undermined by a near-total lack of communication — messages went completely unanswered — and unacceptably slow payment processing. I’m still waiting on remuneration for a study completed over two months ago. Competing platforms handle both communication and payouts far more professionally and efficiently. For these reasons, I’m unable to recommend working with Ronin.

I am leaving this 1-star review because it has been over 2 months since I redeemed my Amazon gift card and I still have not received it. My emails have also been ignored, which is very frustrating.
If Ronin Studies resolves this issue and sends my reward promptly, I will gladly update and change my review. But right now, this experience has been disappointing due to the long delay and lack of communication.

Steer clear. Scam
Would advice experts to steer clear from Ronin Studies, as appears to be a complete scam. I have now had issues with rewards twice: first one when they took over 9 months in awarding one; and just now, where they say the answers to a survey "did not pass their quality control". Having worked with other companies in this space, this all looks like a way of getting answers at no cost whilst getting paid by who commissions them

It was nice to be part of the study. The process of setting the interviews was confusing though, because it seemed that the people in the process didn't comunicated with each other. Other than that, everyone was nice and helpfull. The payment was also done and the support team was able to help me with difficulties.

Communication was excellent and I felt my opinion mattered
Communication was excellent and relevant. Everyone I spoke with was polite and respectful and I felt valued and that my opinion mattered.
As others have mentioned, they could improve on their payment procedure as it required a number of prompts before payment was made. That said, they were responsive and I did receive the payment in the end. Had it not been for this slight hiccup, I would have scored 5.

A CON COMPANY
I had a very disappointing experience with Ronin. I participated in a marketing and advertising survey back in August, and it took four months just to receive payment.
Later, I was invited to complete two follow-up surveys worth $55 and $40. I completed both in January, but I have never been paid for them. I also did not receive any responses to my follow-up emails.
At this point, I feel forced to report this to the Better Business Bureau and online fraud authorities. I would strongly caution anyone considering participating in their surveys—this has been frustrating and unreliable.
