I would seriously advise not to use this company and would have given them zero stars if possible.
Placed an order online back at the end of June 26 and made payment by BACs as requested. 3 weeks later had an email saying the order had been cancelled due to transport issues with no mention of our payment being refunded. After trying to make contact with the company numerous times via phone, email and the contact form on their website finally had a response via their contact form asking for the bank details to make the refund too. However, despite providing the bank details straight away and chasing yet again on numerous occasions there is still no sign of our refund of £300+ being made.
As we paid by bank transfer it would appear we can't but a claim in through our bank so I would suggest you stay well clear of this company and never make a payment to them by bank transfer if you want to ever see your money refunded for a cancelled/unfulfilled order.
Absolutely shocking service and I will be telling everyone in our company to never use the company again.

This is a scam company, avoid. Steve took my order, never placed it with Hornsey Steels (who you might as well go direct to anyway). Promised a refund but never refunded me. Now ignores emails.

Communication with the company is none existent after placing order after numerous calls/texts and emails.
To then receiving incorrect materials and missing items no further communications from the company were received at all leaving my customer with insufficient materials to complete the job and me having to purchase them elsewhere, leaving me out of pocket! overall terrible experience and I would highly encourage people to purchase elsewhere!!!

Ordered, and paid for, fixings on 23/02/26. Initially I was able to speak to someone on the phone who would assure me that items were with Royal Mail and he would provide a tracking number by email - however, no email, no tracking number and no delivery! Telephone calls now go straight to voicemail and messages are never returned. I've requested a refund but, surprise, no refund either!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

money taken, no sheets delivered and no response despite sending several emails and phone calls leaving voice mail. they never reply so must be a scam company so don't bother with them

Friendly staff on phone. Sheets were delivered in 10 days from order. No issues at all. Thankyou 👍

UPDATE. Everything now recieved so increased to 2 stars. Hopefully service will improve for others.

Ordered £500 of roof sheets and ancils. After a month of chasing and very little response from the owner, Stephen Horin, we finally received part of the order. Have emailed both email addresses to request either delivery of the remainder, or a refund for the balance, but no response. Will be calling card issuer and trading standards to report fraud if the delivery isn't made by friday.

UPDATE 4-9-2025: my son says sheeting arrived on lorry last night! Not sure what to think, no communication from company, delivery driver said "yes, we know this company is not very reliable.." but grateful they arrived.
My son just ordered sheets and paid with credit card. no email confirmation, they do not answer their phone, they moved their registered address (companies house), and no one knows anything. Unless he gets a reply, it must be a scam.
