My technician was 3 hours late

My technician was 3 hours late. He said the part was no longer made for my washing machine. After he left, I searched the part number he said was not available and there was a replacement part available. He put $299.00 for labor and had me sign I was declining service, why would I pay $299.00 for labor on something he said there was no part available for. Charged me the diagnostic fee. I want to speak with someone but all of the numbers for customer service are the same AI bot who cannot answer my question about what the labor was for or why I was not informed that there was a replacement part available. I want to speak with a human.

After your response, you gave me the number for the same endless AI Phone Bot loop. I want to speak to a person who can actually resolve my issues. I do not want to schedule another appointment to ask a question about the charges on my last appointment.

5/09/26 Replaced the part the technician said was bad on my washer, didn't fix it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they will charge you a diagnostic fee and their diagnosis is not correct and you CANNOT SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON ABOUT IT or any charges on the technicians visit.

Gentleman was very polite

Gentleman was very polite. Cared what i told him. Was on time according to when he said he would be here. Had the problem fix in less than a hour. And explain to me what happened.

Service was quick and good

Service was quick and good. He did fix the main problem with the dryer. However, we did mention the cooling light was on after fixing the dryer. We were told not to worry about it.
When we initially called in for service the 2 things the dryer was not rotating and that the cooling light was on. Hoping this does not create problems for the future.

They charged me $985 IN ADVANCE before…

They charged me $985 IN ADVANCE before even attempting repairs to my refrigerator. Three days I have missed work waiting for the repairman to show up. Two days they were simply a no-show, no call, no updates. Today the tech never showed up - but did call 3 hours after my scheduled four-hour time window to say he has no tools to repair anything! Claims someone will follow up!
There are no humans to talk to at Sears Home Service. They hire out A&E Factory Service. There are no humans to contact at A&E! Everything is chatbot & automated phone systems. If I had any clue they would hold my $985 hostage and not show up, I would have gone out and bought a new refrigerator!

Sears system SUCKS. Technician Scott was great.

Technician Scott was great.

Sears system was terrible. I could not access, inquire about, or edit anything about my account OR my service order. Sears system kept texting info to my landline.
