Technician cracked clock on my oven impossible to get a hold of anyone. AI blocks all calls.
I would give it zero stars if that was an option. You cannot speak with a live person at all. I called 10 numbers and they all went to the same annoying automated system. When I made my appointment the auto person said they would look at both my washer and my dryer for one low price of $150 total during the same appointment. Service guy showed up and he didnt even have the washer on the order and that was the important one....he was nice and said he would look at the washer instead but OMG I will never use them again. not being able to speak to a live agent is extremely frustrating and very poor customer service!!!
I made an appointment about my dryer door . It would not close. I contacted sears home service through Facebook marketplace. They sent me a reminder and I did not confirm I canceled. The morning of the canceled service, the repairman called and said he was 10 min away. I told him ok. He came told me I needed a new dryer then charged me $129 . He did not fix a thing and was there for 10-13 min. Beware of using this service. It’s a scam . I scammed out of $129 . I tried to call for my refund but they tried to charge me $5 to talk to a technician about it. To charge me to get my refund is another scam. So yeah , DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE, if your appliances need repair

As far as Sears itself, they've gone all AI, scheduling issues and cancellations are common, and you can't get a human on the phone. I will not be renewing.

Will was thorough in reviewing the issue with our ice maker on the refrigerator. He spent time studying the unit and making any improvements he found necessary. He made sure water was running in the system correctly and cleared any ice particles which may have caused the ice maker to not operate properly. In addition, he went over what he believed was the issue with us and made suggestions as to how to avoid having problems in the future. Operation is back to normal. Will sent texts about arrival, did a good job while here, and is a great representative of your company.

The Tech provided excellent customer service however my overall experience was subpar and is reflected in the rating above. As a loyal customer, I consciously chose the Sears Protect home warranty plan over all others as I have been a Sears customer for over 35 years. My plan included two free annual HVAC tune-ups. The heating tune up checked out fine, no issues however I discussed the lack of cool air during my cooling tune-up. The Tech diagnosed a bad capacitor however when I requested an estimate he stated I would have to schedule a diagnostic check which would be $129 if I chose to decline the service. I questioned the need for a diagnostic check only too provide an estimate and the response was per policy. Nonetheless he returned, only to give the same diagnosis and an estimate. The recommended repair was completed however still no cool air. The Tech returned free of charge however he diagnosed an additional issue. Unlike the previous diagnosis, although he was able to give an estimate, the system would not allow him to apply the 25% discount. He stated I would have to call warranty customer service. After multiple attempts due to AI, I reached a LIVE person who confirmed the discount would apply and we scheduled the repair. I also requested information to add the HVAC package however would only upgrade depending on the service provided with this repair. The Tech returned however the estimate was almost doubled and stated the previous estimate was incorrect due to a system glitch. I declined the service and contacted warranty customer service to speak with a Supervisor. After multiple attempts due to AI, I spoke with a representative who transferred me to repair management. I was unable to speak with a Supervisor however the representative stated my concern would be escalated and I will be contacted by a Supervisor…it’s approaching 48 hours and still no contact. My prayer is that Sears will honor the initial estimate, I can update this review citing a positive outcome and my partnership with Sears will continue.

I have never written a negative review in my life.
I used them a few weeks ago and it was close to perfect. Raymond W was so great.
However, I scheduled a repair this past Monday and it has been a nightmare. I think the company tried to implement the use of AI and it has failed horribly.
I have been given the runaround. They scheduled me for a virtual visit instead of the in-person visit I clearly requested.
Three different numbers sent me texts confirming that it was in-person, not virtual. During these texts telling me to ignore all communication about the virtual visits, I received a voicemail from Keith who scolded me for not getting on the video call. I think Keith was human.
No one ever showed up. I waited from 8-5.
I then asked them to reschedule. They said they would do so, but nothing happened.
There is no way to speak to a human. I tried everything. I wasted many hours of my time during a week where I am starting a new job.
I did finally chat with Grady on their web site this evening. He was super nice but could not help me.
This whole situation was frustrating and insulting.
I will never use them again. I feel for Grady and Raymond W. They both deserve a better context in which to work.

I only had a good experience with the technicians that came to my home to repair my dishwasher. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing alone with giving me advice as to how to keep my dishwasher running efficiently. I found trying to reach a person on the phone impossible. I received text from AI which i found wasn't efficient in dealing with the issues i was having. It wasn't until I joined the video call that I spoke with a person. When I asked him about talking to someone he said that their were no people to answer phones and everything was done via technology and simply added "oh well, I guess that's the way of the world" I don't plan on using sears again.
