I would not recommend Shades Blinds based on my experience.

From the outset, the service has been extremely disappointing. Initial appointments were missed for measuring, which caused delays straight away. Although this was eventually resolved and I was reassured that everything would run smoothly moving forward, this has not been the case.

We are now in April and my shutters, which were due to be fitted on 20th April, have still not been installed. Due to the prolonged delays, my finance agreement has now expired, not because I exceeded the agreed 12-week term, but because of the time taken on their side. I’ve since been informed that I may now be declined if I reapply, which has only added to the frustration.

Communication has been particularly poor. I have repeatedly been told that someone would contact me to resolve the issue, but no one ever follows up. I was also given incorrect information regarding the installation date just days before it was due, only to then be told that the shutters aren’t even expected to arrive until 27th April.

Overall, the experience has been incredibly stressful and time-consuming. I am now in the process of requesting a refund and will be using a different company.

The blinds are really poor quality don’t sit straight and like plastic !!

Glad I went to shades blinds. Very reasonable priced compared to other companies. Great job from start to finish and all very friendly. Definitely would recommend them if you’re wanting blinds or shutters.

Gary, who measured my windows and gave me info and advice on my options, was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and, best of all, there was no hard sell. All this plus speed of delivery, price and the 5-year guarantee made it an easy decision to get my blinds from Shades.
I’ll report back after fitting.

Highly recommend shades so easy they come to your home measure up and show you samples then a week later they come to install them only took 10 minutes and I love the blinds
