Had SheffLOCK a number of times now, would recommend Blakey and Joe you did a fantastic job of replacing 32 panes of glass at our daughters. Also highly recommend Glen who replaced bay windows, a large window and back door at our house. The office staff are great as well, very professional and extremely helpful. The prices are competitive, highly recommend this company

Awful experience, laughable really. I couldn't have been messed around more.

I was due to have a cat flap fitted on the 16th, however when they came to fit it, they couldn't complete it as it had been measured wrong. The person who came to measure it did not seem to know what he was doing and had to make multiple phone calls.

So it was then rebooked for the 24th. I emailed them on the morning on the 23rd as I has requested compensation but had not heard anything. They then rang me about 30 minutes later to say actually they won't be coming tomorrow as there was a defect in my glass. They said they could come the next day, but I did not want to be messed around further so requested they call be back once they know for sure.

They then called me back later on and told me actually, they can come tomorrow... After all of that! So they came the next day and fitted the cat flap. Just after he left, I had seen they'd fitted the wrong one! They had given me a microchip cat flap instead of a standard, which is what I asked for. I couldn't believe they managed to get something so simple messed up.

They came back first thing this morning to swap it. It did feel like on the phone they tried to brush over their mistake by saying the microchip cat flap is alot more expensive and they wouldn't make me pay extra for it... I should think not! But the price wasn't the point, it's the principle. If that was the only issue throughout the experience, then fine. But no, this just delayed it even further.

After the first mess up I was offered £40 of compensation. They didn't bother to offer further compensation after their second mistake. Everyone I dealt with was nice enough, and the man that came out to install the cat flap was lovely. However I would NEVER use this company again and would not trust them.

Blakey (Chris) sorted a misted window in my daughter's room. Arrived on time, polite, and efficiently got the job done with no fuss and minimal mess. Highly recommend.

Called Shefflock as soon as they opened on Sunday morning as we needed a lock replaced. Arrived within a couple of hours and carried out the work at a very reasonable price. First class service. Thank you!!

I had a bad experience with ultion key. I made a spare key that broke after two weeks! compared to the original ultion key, you could immediately see that its metal was poor and it was lighter

I'm no expert when it comes to doors or hinges so asked for someone to provide a quote for my front door that was catching on the frame.
I can see myself that the top door hinge needed tightening.
The chap that came out was certainly nice enough. I was hoping it'd be a quickish job so to be told that all 3 hinges needed replacing was unexpected.
I then received a quote by email saying all 3 hinges were broken beyond repair (it's a 2 and half year old door).
I've attached photos of the "damaged beyond repair" hinges that are completely fine and working as normal. I've since had the top hinge looked at and tightened and the door is now opening and closing with no issue.
Again, not an expert myself, but the quote seems slightly over the top.

Thanks for replying Shefflocks. Unfortunately for you, I work in SEO and know how to deal with unnecessary ascertions like the one you made about me wanting the cheapest quote. I wanted a factually correct quote. I also believe that checkatrade would be interested in my review and your subsequent response. I am welcome to receiving an apology to your reply.

Used SheffLOCK for a replacement Ultion Security Lock key. Cannot fault service ... recommended it be sent to an address other than the one the key was required for, quick turnaround, and quick delivery. Happy to recommend!

I had two keys cut for my new front door and initially there was a problem . When I rang the receptionist was so pleasant and helpful and after speaking to Kevin I was immediately sent two more keys which worked . Would highly recommend this firm .

I have to say I was very pleased with the pricing of my ultion key fob covers - best price by far on the internet. I was also really pleased with how quickly they arrived. However, I really do object to being charged £6 for delivery when it was actually a £1.35 stamp on a small padded envelope.

Widow would not close neeeded new hinges . Operator arrived on time following day replaced 2 hinges . Very professional knew his stuff ,no fuss no mess . Charged me the quoted price

Spent a bit of time researching a replacement key for my fiat 500 multi jet. Most quotes were 180£ to 6/700£.
Got a quote from these guys and was very reasonable
Booked a slot, really nice guy came round well within time and sorted my replacement key fob. Worked great.

Brilliant response when loosing our house key after a tiring day last thing we needed, rang Shefflock spoke to Chris who sent Neil, poor man on his way home the other side of Sheffield but arrived in double quick time bright and cheerful and straight to it, couldn’t have been more thankful to Neil for being so quick and efficient, a more grateful cat was also liberated from inside. If ever needed again or recommend to family and friends Shefflock would be my first choice.

On Sunday found myself having to contact my home emergency services provider as I couldn't lock the back door. They in turn contacted Shefflock and within the hour Jamie arrived from their Chesterfield Branch. From the outset the service he provided was exceptional and professional. He certainly knew his trade and immediately spotted the problem (the back door had dropped, hence the locks not engaging). With the correct tools and a good knowledge of the type of door he was working on he realigned the door to a satisfactory conclusion. The people in the office are really great - Diane has been very helpful with my queries. Glenn came to measure and was so helpful when I explained what I wanted. He made suggestions about the door design and glass with this in mind. He came to fit the door and did an excellent job - he cleaned up after, inside and out too. I've already asked for a quote on replacement windows - everyone at Shefflock has been really helpful and easy to deal with.

Faultless at every point of contact. We have never come across a more reliable, skilful, punctual and efficient service at such reasonable prices.
Their brilliant staff are always extremely helpful, friendly and courteous... and they even have a sense of humour!

Very helpful. Came to my house. Sorted a spare car key for me (was only supplied with 1 for my car). Everything works perfectly. Good quality key too (not cheap lightweight one!). Highly recommend 😁
