The essential job of retinning my pans was done, and done well and quite quickly. The work is a little rough around the edges though: the box they were sent back in was too small, so one of the handles was sticking well out of the corner and it's lucky it picked up only the tiniest dint; one of the handles has come back a little scratched while the other is a little rusty; and what I take to be polish is stuck on in various places. These things aren't huge, and don't compromise the quality of the tinning itself, but it's disappointing more care wasn't taken with the secondary elements.

I wish I'd taken a 'before' picture as the results of Nick's work are stunning. I've had a set of six copper saucepans for nearly 20 years, never had them refurbished and they were pretty much bashed about and no lining left. They are now beautiful, glowing and like new. Excellent communication , fast turnaround and delivered by a reputable courier. Very happy customer!

The results from Sherwood Tinning were fabulous, my pans came back as good as new and monogram stamped with my initials. Improvements could be made in the area of communication, the landline is out of service and one is never too sure who will answer the mobile phone, emails to the info@ address went unnoticed. The product is lovely, the communication is idiosyncratic! Good folk though.

When I contacted the Sherwood Tinning for the first time, Nick was extremely helpful and informative. The instructions given to obtain a quote and what I wanted to have done with my copper saucepans were straightforward and clear.
I was given a time period for the work to be done (3 weeks) and it was finished inside this window.
When the parcel arrived back home, I was like a little child ripping the packaging off to reveal my 4 beautifully restored/retinned and polished copper saucepans.
I would thoroughly recommend Sherwood Tinning to anybody who wants their copper saucepans restored.
