Order took a bit to get to me, customer service was great. I have had the lenses for a bit now. I like all lenses but the 1.33x anamorphic lens. Not sure if I got a bad one but the lens moves when I lock it into place with the case mount. Ill continue to review lenses as I use them a bit more.

Je ne doute pas de la qualité des produits, mais si vous passez commande chez Shiftcam, préparez vous à attendre 1 mois avant de recevoir votre colis avec la livraison basique.
En effet, j'attends encore mon colis depuis le 4 de ce mois, avec des réponses lunaires de leurs supports du genre (on a bien compris votre message, navré) ou encore (nous nous efforçons de faire mieux la prochaine fois - sauf qu'à ce rythme la il n'y aura pas de prochaine fois !).
La livraison basique c'est de 7 à 14 jours ouvrables, donc au maximum 19~20 jours ! (Pour être gentil) Pour un colis qui arrive d'Asie, ça donne un coup de blues ! Surtout quand on voit le prix de la livraison rapide, prix d'une coque de téléphone chez eux... bref, c'est une très très mauvaise première expérience avec Shiftcam !
Passer par un revendeur serait bien mieux !
The SnapGrip isn’t meant to replace a…
The SnapGrip isn’t meant to replace a camera or power bank — and it doesn’t claim to. What it does do is make your iPhone feel like a compact camera, with a comfortable grip and a shutter button that works for both photos (shutter release) and videos (start/stop). It doesn’t override any iPhone controls, so your Camera Control and Volume buttons still work normally.
You still need to open the camera app before using the grip. The Bluetooth connection stays active for about 10 minutes, after which you “wake” it by pressing the shutter button. The built-in battery won’t fully recharge your iPhone — and it’s not the fastest — but it’s great for giving your phone a boost when you’ve been snapping away and can’t reach a power socket.
The MagSafe hold is impressively strong, even through a case. It feels solid and well-made, giving a steady grip that makes photos and selfies much easier to take. It also doubles as a handy stand for portrait or landscape viewing. I’d love to see a zoom control added in future versions, especially at this price point. I would suggest that it is principally intended for 'photographers' like me who use their iPhones to take snaps and are fed up with getting their fingers in shot!
I did have an issue with Bluetooth reconnecting — it required forgetting the device and pairing again, which was incredibly frustrating. However, ShiftCam’s customer service was outstanding. They patiently worked with me over email and, when the problem couldn’t be fixed, they quickly arranged a replacement. The new unit works perfectly, and after 48 hours of testing, I’m confident it’s ready for my upcoming vacation. I’m even considering adding the SnapPod tripod/selfie stick to my kit.
4 stars only because my first unit didn’t work out of the box — but this product is just what I wanted and ShiftCam’s customer care is top-notch.

Shift cam so helpful had a problem with the grip not reconnecting to my iPhone 16 they sorted the issue and replaced the grip It’s a shame the old ones couldn’t have just had a software update would have saved the company a lot Imagine.
I must say you customer service has been excellent all the way through this painful experience so helpful even when I was getting stressed at what seemed like a waste of money at the time.
I must say the snap grip is a very useful piece of kit and surprised how much I use it.

Let the buyer beware…
I originally purchased a ShiftCam SnapGrip from Amazon in May of 2025. While the device initially paired with my iPhone 16 Pro successfully, it would only re-pair successfully about 20% of the time. Most of the time I would have to go into Bluetooth settings on the phone and tap the device to get it to connect. It would often just give an error message and force me to ‘forget’ the device and re-add it. This unreliability made it completely unusable for any sort of spontaneous photography.
I contacted customer support. As other reviewers have said, they asked me to send multiple videos. The troubleshooting process went on for a few weeks before I had to return the device to Amazon for a refund. I was then told by support that they just received a ‘good batch’ of SnapGrips in their warehouse. They offered me a 20% discount if I ordered one direct from ShiftCam. Against my better judgement, I ordered one. With the $15 shipping fee, that made up for the discount they offered, but I was hopeful that I would get a working device.
It took a couple weeks to get the replacement. Unfortunately, it performed exactly the same as the first one I bought from Amazon. Meanwhile, I purchased a similar device from a different brand on Amazon for much cheaper, and it worked FLAWLESSLY. The only drawback was that it wasn’t as ergonomic as the SnapGrip. ShiftCam support then spent a few more weeks troubleshooting the second SnapGrip with no success. Then they told me that they had ‘made some changes to their manufacturing processes’, and would send me a replacement device. After about 2-3 weeks, they shipped the replacement. About 2 weeks later, I received the replacement. I was not very optimistic at this point, but I have tested it over 30 times and it has paired automatically within a few seconds EVERY time.
So while I did ultimately end up with a working device, it took over 2 months, and a lot of time was spent troubleshooting the first two devices. Customer service was very nice the majority of the time, but it would often take a day or two to get a single response, and I did feel like I was being misled multiple times. If you’re considering buying a ShiftCam device, I would recommend ordering it from Amazon. If it has issues, just send it back. Maybe order another one from Amazon and hope you get a good one. Based on my experience, and other reviews I have read, it seems like they have quality control issues. Think twice about ordering direct from ShiftCam. It will likely take longer and cost more, and returning it will be more difficult.

Never had a bad customer service…
Never had a bad customer service experience with Shiftcam. Always been polite and helpful. If there’s a strike against Shiftcam there’s sometimes a delay in replies. This is understandable because of time zone differences.
I’ve had a few warranty replacements for which have they have been quick to help and quick to send. I’ve had questions and I’ve gotten prompt and informative answers. Love Shiftcam and their ecosystem.

Good Customer Service for a Good Product
I plan is to use the iPhone as a second camera for ground displays at airshows. The phone alone is not user friendly for that purpose.
I expect the ShiftCam will make the process much easier.
I wish to commend customer service person Lester for his help in locating the serial number for the warranty.
I like the ease of changing from vertical to horizontal with a twist of the camera. However, I note it is just as easy to simply rotate the wrist to achieve the same effect.
I do have a suggestion:
Since the camera and ShiftCam together may be a bit large to hold for long periods when no images are being captured, it might be good for ShiftCam to produce a zippered case for the belt.
Unless one has a purse, fanny pack or deep pocketed cargo pants, there is little option for keeping the phone at the ready when not in active use.
As an example. I have a belted zippered LowePro bag that just fits the connected phone and ShiftCam.
A purpose designed bag from ShiftCam would likely be superior.
In closing, this was a good purchase.
I have no complaints.

Lens are fine but customer services is…
Lens are fine but customer services is terrible. I purchased a lens and wasn't wowed by it. I was then asked to review the lens on their website, but as it was't a glowing review it never appeared on the website. When I asked customer services about this they ghosted me!

I have bought a number of products now from Shiftcam and they are brilliant. When there has been an issue they have been very quick to resolve it, accepting fault and very polite. Lester is a brilliant and has been the main person.

Initially, l had a few questions regarding my order, but Mara, one of the Customer Relations Specialists, clarified everything for me.
She was very nice, polite, really helpful and probably enjoying her job a bit too much.
Sometimes, l wish l had her energy and enthusiasm…well…you can’t have everything in life.

I was a little unsure as to whether the progrip would work with my Samsung S25 Ultra. I contacted Shiftcam and received an answer within hours of my enquiry. Ariana was very helpful and her communication was very clear and concise. Best Customer Support EVER!…
Ariana has assisted me on two occasions and both times were exceptionally good experiences! Her friendly, non-judgmental tone along with giving straightforward facts about what I had received in my order were all I needed to go back, examine the situation (I’d installed a mount converter incorrectly) and correct it. Without Ariana’s feedback, I wouldn't have attempted to fix the problem but I did and now it's on my lens where it belongs!
I'm serious when I say that Ariana has a rare gift of responding, informing, expressing gratitude and supporting a total stranger via this crazy asynchronous platform called e-mail! I pray that her talent doesn't go unnoticed.

Misleading Product Bundles & Useless Lenses Without Adapters
I purchased what I thought was a full lens pack from this company—multiple lenses advertised as part of a complete photography solution. Turns out, it was anything but complete.
Some lenses are not usable on their own. Why? Because they don’t include the required adapters. That’s right: they sell lenses without the basic components needed to attach them to your phone. And they don’t clearly warn you about this before purchase.
Even worse, when I looked for a solution, they suggest I should buy a more expensive “kit”. So now I’m stuck with a bunch of useless lenses unless I pay even more for gear I didn’t want.
This is an outrageous sales tactic—upselling by intentionally selling incomplete products. Completely misleading and incredibly frustrating for anyone expecting plug-and-play gear.
Avoid this company unless you enjoy wasting time, money, and dealing with nonsense.
Never Received Total Scam Don't Buy From Them
This company is a rip off. I have been waiting over a month and still have not received. And they refuse to issue a refund. Like other reviews the routing number given to track my package is saying in holding with no movement. I do believe this a fake website created to keep you from figuring out its a scam.
