While treating a mild case of plantar fasciitis, I was advised to buy insoles. I tried several off-the-shelf brands, all with no success and having the same problem: Apparently my arch is quite forward on my foot (given my shoe size), so all the supportive insoles were actually making my problem worse by the arch support rising up and hitting me in the heel. I even tried buying larger sized insoles, but apparently they don't actually move the arch support forward much, just add a bunch of length for the front/toe area -- not helpful for me.
My first attempt with Shoely yielded similar results, BUT when I contacted them (out of desperation), they were super supportive -- we worked through the issue and I now have, for the first time, insoles that actually fit my feet. I've worn them for several days so far and am pleased with the results.
As others have stated, the process to scan your feet is pretty simple with your iphone once you get the hang of it, and it's fun to see the results of the scan. This is a great use of 3D scanning technology.
I highly recommend Shoely.

Customer service is great! However, it is difficult to search for shoes on the website. It would be nice for it to categorize it even further. For example, clicking on "casual" gives me a 10+ pages of shoes but I'm not familiar with all the brands so I'm clicking through each page to see what shoes are offered on the website.

Did not get the insoles. Picture of shoes was not accurate. It look like te tile but ended up being nylon (plastic)

I was gifted a Shoely fitting at the LA Marathon Expo. I ran the marathon with my old shoes. When I got the new pair with Shoely insoles. It was like day and night. It took a few days to adjust to the new fit and wider shoe size I walked around for a few days to adjust. But when I stepped on the road it was like floating ON CLOUDS! Such a game-changer. Now I have the confidence to run farther with these insoles. Great customer service and shoe recommendations.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes with two pairs of insoles. One pair is perfect, as usual. The second pair was very uncomfortable. I just thought they needed a “breaking in period”. When I got back that first day, my right foot was throbbing. I looked inside the shoe and the insole was doubled over itself at the toes. I straightened it out, but the right shoe continues to cause pain. I was on a trip and those were the only shoes I brought with me, so I endured that pain for 10 days. I’m not sure if the right shoe has a flaw, but I’d be interested in exchanging them.
