Really not sure who's actually leaving positive reviews on here. The real story is that these guys are horrible, will waste your money and time and lack integrity. Don't buy into their bs. Very disingenuous people and their team lacks talent and just wants to take your money. Beware

I'm currently working with Shopanova and although our results haven't taken off yet, the team has been continuously testing new strategies to help build our conversions. Working with Shopanova has been a joint partnership and they're working alongside me to build my overall brand and online store. They care about my success and are happy to help bring fresh ideas, creative, and strategy to the table.

It’s hard for me to even express how regretful I feel that I ever came across Shopanova. I’ve never felt so taken advantage of and conned in my entire life.

This company was late on almost every single deadline they gave me, they didn’t fulfill several of their contractual obligations, their “projections” and goals for my company were completely and utterly false, and I ended up losing over $20,000 working with them.

Just to give you some background so you can understand just how poor the results were - I have zero experience in marketing or Facebook advertising and I ran ads for my company that performed significantly higher than the ads ran by Shopanova “experts.”

Here are the exact numbers:

1 month before working with Shopanova sales data (when I was running ads myself):

Sales: $16,410.45
Ad Spend: $8,367.25
Net Profit: $8,043.20

The most profitable month I had throughout my contract with Shopanova sales data:

Sales: $9,611.00
Ad Spend: $7,838.64
Net Profit: $1,772.36

*** Keep in mind, this was the MOST profitable month and every single month of working with them besides this one had the net profit in the negative.

1 month after working with Shopanova sales data (when I started running my ads again):

Sales: $15,788.00
Ad Spend: $4,710.06
Net Profit: $11,077.94

There’s no reason why I should be profiting more running the ads myself when I have zero experience than Shopanova “experts” who claim to have several years of experience.

Not only were the results a complete and utter failure, but I was lied to and deceived on many occasions working with Shopanova. I originally attempted to address my issues privately with the Shopanova staff and I found that Oscar, Melinda, and Josh were completely unhelpful and unapologetic.

I spent a huge portion of my life savings working with Shopanova, based on the things I was told they could do for my business before signing the contract and not a single thing they promised would happen for my business happened. This company is dishonest, untrustworthy, and quite frankly just plain not good at what they do.

I’m writing this review with the hope that potential clients of theirs will see this so that Shopanova cannot take advantage of them and their business like they did to me and mine. To any of their potential clients – please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need any further information to keep you from entering into a contract with this company.

UPDATE AFTER SEEING SHOPANOVA RESPONSE:

Again, Shopanova and their team continue to lie.

To begin, Shopanova stated that my company was in a bad position when we started working with them. They said we had "no established audience, a bad conversion rate, and bad creatives." This is false.

Yes, we were a newer company but we had over 100 5-star photo reviews, 1000s of orders, a 3.44% conversion rate (above industry standard), and our ads were performing better than they ever did when ran by Shopanova. Also let me add that these "bad creatives" were actually the best performing ads when the ad account was ran by Shopanova (yes, they re-used my old ads instead of creating new ones from the 200+ pieces of content I provided them).

In regards to the data you provided, it doesn't match Hyros data, Facebook ads manager data, or Shopify data so I'm not quite sure where you're getting these numbers. Not to mention, even if you were pulling accurate data from Facebook like you stated, we all know that after the ios14 update, Facebook data is unreliable and inaccurate. The data I provided is all from Hyros - the platform YOU told me was "incredibly accurate."

I can tell you for certain that the monthly ROAS never exceeded a 1.4.

Shopanova also claims we had a "small budget." This is just plain false. We had an unlimited scaling budget throughout our entire duration with Shopanova and asked our rep (Oscar) repeatedly when it would be time to scale.

As for the late deliverables and breaches of contract, I wish I could elaborate with exact details, however I don't have enough room here to do so.

In summary, 3 deliverables were delivered late and the 'Projections Sheet' and 'Scaling Timeline' were not followed whatsoever.

In addition the breaches of contract had to do with the "resolution of tracking issues," "management of Shopanova's multi-layer funnel," "creation of ad creatives," and "specific timeframes of deliverables."

It's pretty pathetic that, as a company that should pride themselves on helping businesses big or small, you think it's appropriate to get on here and belittle my company all while lying and offering no remorse in your failed attempt at marketing and your shameless taking of my money with nothing in return. You're disgusting, dishonest, and the utter worst experience I've ever had with a business.

No magic, waste of fees.. roas is worse after 2 months of working with them and spending 10k on their fees.. they dont make ad content.. do yourself a favor and hire someone on fiverr to make you an ad.

This was a whole new concept for us and from day one Shopanova has walked us step by step and offered encouragement, advice, and resources to help reach our goals!They truly offer a unique service that stand out amongst their competitors. When I first met Shopanova my Shopify store was making 8k per month. After I got started using their proven funnel system on my Facebook ads we quickly got scaled up to 22k+ in revenue consistently each month and growing. I was lost before I met these guys trying to do it on my own and failing miserably. The amount of growth I have experienced changed my life and I owe it all to Shopanova and their team of expert strategists. A top-notch agency that is deeply invested in growing its client's brands. If you are on the fence about hiring these guys - do it and never look back.

Been working with shopanova since they were called Stagvid since 2018. Literally the best decision ever. They really took my store to the next level. I was throwing my money away running ads through fb with no knowledge of how ads work. They do all that for me so I don’t need to worry. I like to remain anonymous because I’m in a very competitive business and I really don’t want my competitors knowing about how good they are :*) but for anyone out there who hasn’t tried them I recommend them 100%. We started with Shopanova when we were doing 9K/ month .After three months we did 32K/month. Now after couple of months we’re doing over 60K/ month . Our ROAS , conversation rate, avj order value , visitors all the numbers went high which is awesome! Love my team with Shopanova!

I honestly feel violated the way this company is taking my money in exchange for poor performing ads.

I was super disappointed with the performance of ads run under shopanova and we were spending hundreds of dollars a day in spend.

I was pretty vocal about the issues, but Shopanova team cared more about lining their own pockets then the performance of my ad account.

But most agencies are like this, so I guess I should not have been surprised. :/

I had high hopes for this company, but sadly after losing 30K to high retainer fee's and and ad spend of lower than 1 ROAS we had to discontinue. We were at a point were they said we needed a whole new set of ads, and we just did not want to continue that route after having experienced low performance the first time around. I just think there wasn't as much effort put into our account and truly understanding the brand and what made us unique. The two people we worked with was nice and professional. We really hoped for a better experience performance wise.

Reached out for information and had a really great experience talking with Patrick -- he was super helpful without overselling. Knowledgeable and kind, I appreciate the help I've received.

After speaking with the team at Shopnova, I was very pleased with their expertise and suggestions. I honestly didn’t know what to expect since we saw their very amusing ad. Yet, to my surprise they are very selective of who they work with and very detailed in their knowledge and experience. I hope to be able to work with them soon.

We have been working with Shopanova for about 8 months. I’ve been really pleased with the results and insight they bring to the table. They also have been great at communication and response time to any concerns we have. I cannot recommend them enough.

The team has exceeded our expectations. We have had nothing but issues with Facebook trying to do it all ourselves. Shopanova (Melinda, Matthew and the team) have taken the reigns with confidence and now manage all aspects of our FB account and they are doing an excellent job at it.

We heard great things about Shopanova and were super excited to join! For us we weighed the pros and cons of hiring someone in house vs hiring Shopanova. We decided to go all in. Their fees were 10k up front, then 5k monthly after that for the first 3 months. We sent them photos and info and they went to work. Our first ads dropped, with excitement we went to check them out. We were disappointed that the copy didn't make sense on some of the ads. We are a women's fashion company and their copy honestly read like it was written by a man from a different country. We figured it would just take some time for them to learn our voice but that they would get there. Our expectation was that we could get them pictures and some content and trust them to run with things. A few weeks later we received multiple messages from customers with screenshots of our ads with misspellings and the videos were washed out. I understand that facebook can have glitches, but what I couldn't understand was why these glitches and mistakes ran for a week and a half with no one noticing. We realized immediately that we were just one of many companies that shopanova managed and they obviously didn't have time to care about our ads.
We decided we needed to to be more involved in approval and writing the copy ourselves. After another month of taking responsibility from them we had a discussion with a manager there about our disappointment in our ROA and experience. Her reply was that we "were too involved" we needed to step back and let them run with things, our "~3x ROA was really good for an account that was a few months old". That was the last straw for me, I felt like I was being told to just keep paying them to earn our trust back. I said we were done, then she emailed back and said they would get me a new ad strategist if we stayed but that just felt like continuing to pay them to start over and earn our trust again.
I would highly consider other options. Nobody will ever care about your business like you will.

Highly recommend.. I’ve been using them over 6 mths. These guys are the real deal.. I had tried a bunch of agencies before shopnova. They had all promised me the moon and didn’t deliver. These guys set realistic goals.. have hit all the numbers , stayed on top of my account every step of the way. My only regret is that I didn’t find them years ago. Give them a try you won’t regret it

How has your experience been with Shopanova? Overall the experience is good. I do feel that with most growing companies the front end experience was better.

Is there anything you would like to see improved upon? Reporting - more frequently. More creative content ideas, more feedback on ads, more attention to what we are running and pushing us to provide better content. More urgency for us as a customer. More frequently updated ads. I have uploaded alot of content to the drive and keep seeing comments on older sold out images of customers upset that everything in the ad is sold out. So overall I think we need more/ better strategy and planning for what content is needed and when it is added.

How has communication been? Do you feel like your goals and ideas have been expressed? Communication is difficult because of how busy I am. Hopping on a call is difficult to schedule out as consistently as I think it needs to be. I wish I had easier or more access to information.

In what ways have we met or exceeded your expectations? Our new customer growth is phenomenal and the marketing is working.

What were some of the challenges you faced before working with us, that we later helped solve? New customer acquisition was LOW

What has growth looked like for you in your business so far and how has that impacted your day-to-day life? We have actually had to revamp our processes, hire, create more space, and increase ordering volume. Good problems to have but VERY TIME consuming - busy busy

What would you tell someone who is thinking about working with Shopanova? DO IT

Melinda and the Team at Shopanova are the reason we continue to grow our company at a rate we are extremely proud of. The speed at which they delivered us results surprised us to say the least and their customer service is second to none. Every meeting we have with the team reassures us in their high competency in their field. We are extremely excited to grow our company with them.
