I ordered 2 Ecoflow smart generator 4000's and 2 solar panel extension cables and only received 1 of each initially. I received the rest eventually once I called to find out what happened. I can understand mistakes happening but my biggest pet peeve about your company is that you will only ship items through fedex and fedex is an absolute dog squeeze shipper that caused my package to be late by a week. I will not order through you again because you don't offer any shipping options other than through fedex.

Customer service is exceptional. It's good to talk to real people with answers that actually solve the problem. Additionally, the products aren't the problem, it's usually, in my case, misunderstanding the available information. Shopsolar makes it easy to understand. Lastly, all my orders go smoothly. All my products purchased, have worked from day one, until now flawlessly.

Pre-purchase support was good with system sizing and installation materials. However, support post-purchase and post-install is ABYSMAL (i.e., after they cash the check). I received an EG4 LifePower4 V2 battery with a non-functioning battery management system (BMS). My suspicion is that I received a returned unit (had a bent rack mount bracket) and was sold to me as new. I went round and round with ShopSolar's tech support talking in circles for MONTHS. Ultimately, I was not able to have my battery replaced with a good working unit. They blamed the manufacturer for being unable to help me.
I cannot recommend Shop Solar based on my experiences with their lack-luster support services.

Being able to buy replacement parts for my system is enhanced knowing I'm buying from shop solar kits .com whom sold me my system. I can find the parts easily, and make sure they are compatible with my system.

Never set up solar before and was done in under 4 hours.

The staff seems to be knowledgeable about setting up a whole solar array ect. Did not have many bumps in the road , but any little issues were addressed quickly. I am very satisfied with my setup and product. I will continue to deal with you all in future. Thanks Mark Kostek

issue with the specified kit on the tamarack design page resulted in an order deficient in rails and splices. products are fine, but not good coordination between manufacturer and dealer.

Ordered an inverter and it showed up when they said it would with good communication.

The Operations Manager went well beyond what is considered acceptable customer service in todays market.
A tree fell on one of my arrays, before I had even commissioned my system. I emailed and explained the situation, asking for a POC to assist with ordering replacement pieces and parts. I was surprised when the Ops Manager reached out and offered to help. I was even more surprised that rather than hand me off to someone else, she followed through with constant communication. Emails and phone calls explaining various logistical constraints and working diligently on their end to allieviate as many of those constraints as they could. All of this was about 9 months after my original purchase of a complete off-grid system. Truly the best customer service I have ever experieced before, during and after the sale, with any company, anywhere.

The online help was great to ensure the right kit for me, and upon delivery, it was pretty much 'plug-n-play' with little learning curve.

Customer service is great when you are looking for an off grid solar kit. If you need any tech support that will be very difficult. Might as well find a local guy to help you out.
