Best customer service.
I reached out to shopsolarkits about an issue with an inverter I bought from them. They were extremely professional and super responsive throughout the warranty replacement process.

Packing and shipping were excellent
Packing and shipping were excellent. Everything arrived in pristine condition. The Sungold Power panels are also excellent. My only reason for 4 stars instead of five is the ground mounts from Sungold Power. They handle the weight of the 2 panels well but my only complaint is getting the center middle clamps is difficult since they coincide with the middle connecting bracket so if you need to reconnect the bolt you may need longer bolts.

The support and service can't be beat
The products they sell are priced competitively and are mostly available from multiple sources. But the pre-purchase and post-purchase support are second to none. I bought my original system and the components to upgrade that system from ShopSolar and will return next time I want to expand.

Overall a very good experience. Shipping was a bit slow but I understood once I realized the product was being shipped from Canada. (However the website indicated the company had a Nevada location).

Disorganized and nobody knows what's going on.
Extremely poor customer service. Placed an order for batteries over the phone because I wanted to talk to someone and ensure they were in stock due to a tight timeline. Was told they were in stock and order would ship in about 2 days. Placed the order, then didn't hear anything for over a week. Emailed and called and was told that they had not shipped yet. Was given a song & dance about how they have up to 5 business days to ship an order. So, I cancelled the order on the phone, was given a confirmation of the cancellation and told I would get email confirmation. Received email saying they were processing my cancellation request. Later that same day, the order arrives at my door. Apparently, it had been shipped two days after I placed the order, as the original sales person said. Why didn't I get any notification of shipment? Why did two different customer service people not know the order had already shipped when I inquired about it? This company clearly has process issues and I would not do business with them again.
As for the product itself, they are great. Plug & Play with my Victron inverter, well built, easy installation.

Great support from configuration thu installation.
This company makes purchasing a configured solar system pretty simple. They are very responsive to questions before and after the sale. I found the prices competitive after shopping around but the support sealed the deal for me. Delivery was very smooth for the various components, and technical questions were answered quickly. I installed my complete system myself.
