Easy to navigate the website and find the products. I am yet to wear the suit however the quality feels and look great.

We recently used Slater’s Norwich for our wedding suits, deciding to buy our suits rather than rent as it worked out easier and cheaper.

I spent a couple of hours picking the suit we wanted and added a pair of chinos to wear on the day rather than the suit trousers because of the style we wanted to go for, this wasn’t an issue and they helped pair everything up.

From that moment forth, the customer service team were amazing. From the measures and alterations to sending a suit to Reading and Chelmsford so that some of the party didn’t have to travel to Norwich each time.

We even had a call from the manager at Norwich to assure us all was going ok with our order.

All in all the experience was exceptional, the suits quality and the service was brilliant.

The overall experience was very disappointing. The customer service was poor and lacked any personalised attention—even after showing the staff the exact items I needed, no one offered help. As a result, I ended up buying suit accessories in the wrong size. I would have bought more things I needed, but due to the staff's apathy, I didn't purchase anything else. On top of that, the measurements were rushed. I now have to return to pick up the suit, and I genuinely hope the sizing was done correctly.

The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. From the beginning, we made it clear that we needed everything to go with the suit, yet we were barely given any recommendations or personalised assistance. We even had to ask about a tie ourselves, as one was never offered to us. Neither a pocket square nor cufflinks were suggested or offered either, so we ended up not buying them.

We would have happily purchased more items that we needed, but given the lack of attention and assistance, we will now be buying them elsewhere. We left feeling quite sad and disappointed. I simply don’t understand why the service we received was so different from the positive experiences described by so many other customers in the reviews.

I would not recommend this store. When you have little or no experience buying suits, you expect more guidance, recommendations and a friendlier and more helpful approach from the staff.

I recently purchased a suit from the Bromley store and had an excellent experience, thanks to Eisa.

I was served by Eisa, who was extremely helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, listened to my preferences and suggested suitable options. He also assisted me with finding the right size and fit, making sure the suit looked and felt right before I made my purchase.

What really stood out was the excellent customer service. Eisa was patient, attentive and never made me feel rushed. He took the time to answer my questions, talk me through the different options and make sure I was completely happy and confident with my choice.

I really appreciated the time and effort Eisa put into helping me. His friendly approach and attention to detail made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. He is a real credit to the Bromley store, and I would definitely recommend him and the store to others.

Ordered a £50 voucher on a Saturday and for it to be delivered for my brothers birthday on the Monday but it never arrived. When I complained it arrived on the Tuesday. I could understand if it was being delivered by post but by email it should have been there on the agreed date

Following alterations, the suit was delivered back to me with just the jacket, no trousers! The jacket looked like it had been screwed up as it was so full of creases. Not the normal standard I've had previously from Slaters.

I was impressed with the quality of the shoes, suit and belt given their prices. Excellent and beautiful.

Excellent quality and price

I visited the Slater Menswear Glasgow branch today for the first time, and it will definitely be my last. From the moment I walked through the door, I was completely overwhelmed by the staff. Every single employee I walked past "swooped" in, "greeting' me and repeatedly asking if I was "okay". This occurred literally every 20 seconds, despite me making it more than obvious that I merely wished to be left alone to browse in peace. Instead of feeling welcomed or assisted, I felt intensely pressured, heavily watched, and deeply uncomfortable. It did not feel like helpful customer service at all - rather it felt like pure harassment. The environment was so overenthusiastic and invasive that I ended up completely ignoring the staff, turning around, and walking straight out. I went and spent my money elsewhere. Management seriously needs to review their training policies. If you want to browse in peace without being hounded by a tag-team of sales staff the entire time, avoid this place. They completely drive customers away.

I have always found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. I have recommended Slaters to my grandchildren, who, too, have been very happy with the service they received.

It’s our go to place now even though we don’t live in reading.
