If I could rate slingshot I'll rate 0 I do not recommend slingshot to anyone. They don't give a reasonable time frame to pay arrears which is unfair and if you do not agree to there demands they will refer you onto a debit agency. I owe $450 and switched to a power company that was cheaper i decided to sign up with pulse slingshot was expensive power i was already payong $100 a week and asked if I could pay owing amount at × amount of $ every week and declined that they would only offer 3 month payment plan even though I am no longer with there services wanted to pay what was owed. Most companies offer a plan that's within reason however slingshot doesn't. They will forward owing onto to a debit agency if they do not get there way. Not everyone can afford to pay up front atleast give them a chance 6 months to pay debt before you cut that person off i owe $450 i wanted to pay weekly amount $20 max and that was declined and I recieve email they will forward onto debt agency. Some money I'd better than no money.

Had to wait for about 20 minutes on hold as there is no call back option. The customer service staff seem to be used to frustrated and angry customers. My experience was poor, from first contact to installation. They make you install an app to set up the wifi router. The app did not work and I found a way to set up the router using the web browser. Even after un-installing the useless app, my phone complains about a certificate the app installed. Annoying! The wifi router (Orbi) is very low range and you have to be very close to get wifi. You get dozens of automated emails from their system, none of which help. Their plans are confusing.

Just got off the phone with Abhinandan from slingshot tech support. He was patient, courteous and helpful with all my queries.

Slingshot? Nah, Slingshit. Had the worst experience ever. I got fibre broadband+power+and mobile bundle, and within four days, they asked me to pay $80 before the bill date?! You can't watch 4k videos, play games or watch youtube smoothly because the internet has short-term memory loss. Therefore I called customer service, and the cancellation fee was $250! Do you expect us to pay $250 after a terrible experience? They're not trustworthy or reliable, I repeat! NOT TRUSTWORTHY OR RELIABLE.

Dodgy af they impact Your credit rating without cause apply caution

One star rating is too kind. An internet company that has the worst customer service in history. My pet dog or cat would do better. Keep well away from them. The moment there is a problem its total ignorance. Also look at the plan cost which creeps upwards too often but I was never notified when other cheaper plans were available. Subtle rip offs are their favourite game. To fix my phone landline was amazing if you like talking to brick walls. So many weeks went by with no phone and I was paying for it (a non stop void of buzzing). Clearly they did not want me to have a landline. After 40 years of having that landline number I got rid of it to get rid of them. Thank god my mobiles are with someone else. I do have ADSL internet with them but that's like dial up and I won't go there with that. As a business person myself I wonder how they fill in their time. I suspect its sleeping, on the drink, stuffing down food but with their hand out to take more of your money. Their name Slingshot is appropriate as they got a sling and shot off.

The worst contact centre ever! They never do whatever they said they would do for you. They gave suggestions which later on I found out that was not relevant process and etc. And when I complained about that they just said the person had jo idea. Really!!? My suggestion dealing with them is to only contact via email so that you have evidence of their lies.

Very disappointed with Slingshot, connection breaks too often. I was not expecting this as I am using their latest Modem (provided by slingshot). Just waiting to complete the fixed term ending in July.
NO NO to slingshot

I posted a review on these nits a year ago when I had to cancel an account that was screwed up from the word go. I thought it couldn't get any worse - wrong. I continued with a 2nd account that predated the cancelled one. 18miths LATER, my credit rating tanked as retrospectively, a string of VERY late charges suddenly appeared. It took 8 months of constant emails to the Credit Control area to get that rectified. I am still fighting about another late report that wasn't that appeared last Dec. It's just unbelievable that these incompetent twits are allowed to masquerade as a legit company. UPDATE - another late (but not) payment appeared. Made official complaint - finally got errors corrected but they say "still investigating - don't know how it happened". Strongly suggest customers check their credit ratings.

Their team are beyond ineffective, whoever is running this circus needs to be let go. Endless promises with no delivery, takes weeks for them to action anything, won't reply to any communication. Learn from me - stay away!

This is a supplement to my previous review. since trying to leave these twits, they have blamed my new providers for not providing the correct change over dates, despite various emails between me and then confirming this date.... they are trying to charge $400 for an old google wifi router I'm yet to return, I had thought I'd just pay for it, but I can buy a brand-new mesh system for that price, so that will be getting returned. And, they are trying to charge for nearly a months mobile plans (on two phones) despite as I say, knowing services ended.... did they think I wouldn't notice. These guys clearly don't have a clue how to deal with customers, you get one story from one employee and a different story from another employee, and they just ignore anything you say that they dislike or don't seem to understand. Seriously if you're looking for a new internet or phone or power provider, do not go here, it is not worth the stress and frustration and utter horror that you will have dealing with these twits. I really couldn't be any worse in terms of a customer experience, so just don't do it.

Regretting going with slingshot.
They are not honest company they internet very slow since I started with them cant even watch Netflix properly. They increase the price without telling you trying to hide. They make you pay even the wifi not working. They charge you fees to break a contract you didn’t break and also change your contract of broadband and power when you’re moving house increasing the price.
Don’t choose worst company. They lock you 12 months but make sure you give them notice to stop.

We thought we were getting the fastest internet speed at a good price, but we are experiencing internet like it is via dial-up modem. The router provided by Slingshot has no signal strength even within a few metres from it. The signal strength is below -80dBm RSSI, which TechAdvisor says is "unuseable". We agree. Our connection drops with each new click of the mouse. Slingshot is a dishonest company to offer an attractive cost for high speed internet, but they achieve this by providing junk equipment. AVOID!!!
