A little bit of above and beyond made this a very good experience. A personal touch in solving a problem was very much appreciated considering how stressful the moving process is.

Waste of my time and Money!!

Sounds great and effortless in principle but it is NOT! If I had my time over again I would not use Slothmove again – it is not worth the money!

Gas/Electric took me 2 letters/3 phone calls to get it sorted.

United Utilities – never happened. Had to do it myself.

Council Tax took 2 phone calls to get it correct.

NHS – my Doctor was never informed. I am disabled but still had to go down in person with my Passport!

TV Licence – never happened. Had to do it myself.

Total waste of time. If I could give it ‘Zero’ stars I would!!

Will I get my money back? I sincerely doubt it!!

It is far too complicated to access the information so as to show Slothmove what I had to do to get the new address registered correctly! But thanks for the offer>

We’ve checked our records, and if we have the right account, all your updates were sent as requested, and we can provide proof of this. Unfortunately, some providers take longer to process changes, and while we notify them, we don’t have control over their internal processes.

This company could not provide the…

This company could not provide the service I needed as their system did not allow for the numerical order of a NI driving licence!
They admitted this & say they will rectify their system but, to date nearly 3 weeks later they have still not refunded my payment!
So give them a bye as the details you have to go through to fill out their criteria are very lengthy & tedious.

Not good: if anything goes wrong, you are on your own.

Sadly I have had to resort to leaving my first ever bad review: their service is great in theory, however when it came to updating my address on my drivers license and V5C they were unable to do so. Sloth Move did contact me requesting some additional details, however a month and a half after updating the details, both remain updated. I contacted the company a couple of times since, however their promise of getting in contact within 5 working days of the contact appear to be empty (now being on working day 12 of my initial follow up email).

Very poor indeed.

You requested an update for your V5C but not your driver’s licence, which is why the licence wasn’t actioned.

Regarding response times, our auto-responder explains that multiple follow-ups can unintentionally push queries to the back of the queue.

Despite this, we replied to your most recent email 4 working days after it was sent, which is within our stated timeframe.

We’re a small team working hard to support our customers, and we appreciate your patience. If there’s anything further we can do, please feel free to reach out.

Ignoring my emails

Paid for the company to change my address but in the time it took them to take the money from my account and get back to me I had already informed all necessary parties of my move.

I have asked for a refund however they are now ignoring my emails after asking me what my email address was .. whilst emailing that same email address.

I wouldn’t waste your time with them.

In the process of moving house but…

In the process of moving house but there has been a delay. I've informed them via my account, emailed the main email address and emailed Anna and I dont receive any acknowledgement. I am still receiving emails from companies confirming they have received my move request. All I want is a response and acknowledgement so decided to leave this review with the hope someone actually responds to me.

I recently moved

I recently moved, and SlothMove was fantastic! They assisted me in notifying everyone at both my old and new locations of my address change using a variety of services. It was simple and quick and I recieved responses from everyone right away. Moving is much less stressful now that you have SlothMove.

HUGE HELP - thank you!

As a first time renter, there were many unknowns. However, SlothMove professionally guided me through the options. They provided clear explanations and patienty answered all my questions without rushing me. The process of updating my address with various services was quick and easy. SlothMove offers excellent service, and I recommend them to anyone navigating the rental process for the first time.

I was not looking forward to the…

I was not looking forward to the administrative work after moving. However, after learning about SlothMove from a buddy, everything became so much simpler! They made everyone aware of my revised address. Really, it's amazing that this didn't exist earlier—very, very cool!

This is not a 3 Star Review as such as I only used this service yesterday to notify a change of address.
My concern is that there is no acknowledgement from Sloth or any of the Agencies notified of my address change requests. I hope someone can put my mind at rest. I’ll update my review when I start to see updates. Thank you.

Total life saver

I haven't moved by myself in a long time, so I was really worried about the process, but SlothMove was amazing. They explained everything clearly and made the whole process a piece of cake, sorting my address updates out in the process. If you're moving solo, SlothMove is the way to go.

SlothMove: Convenient and Efficient

During our move, we had the pleasure of working with SlothMove. Setting up everything at once through their service was much more convenient and faster than having to update our address with individual companies ourselves. SlothMove also notified other services of our move, which would have been challenging for us to navigate on our own. We are very satisfied with their services and would consider using SlothMove again for future moves.

Poor Customer Service

Their programme froze after I spent nearly an hour inputting all the necessary data, particularly as I own a motley collection of
vehicles. Their help line is not manned and the only reply I got to my appeals for help was that a "Dedicated Sloth" Would contact me to discuss the problem within 48 hours. 3 days later I am still waiting. They have, however, refunded my payment. Not a very nice experience when going through the trauma of a house move.

Useless - Doesn't add any value.

Several providers are missing - Scottish Widows Pensions can't be that rare and no sign of my breakdown recovery service either ?
The level of detail allegedly required by DVLA goes beyond all reason and is surely no quicker than notifying them myself. As there is no way to "save for later" pending researching some of the gazzillion bits of data they demand, I've had to abandon the process which makes it worse than useless as I will now have to contact the individual providers anyway.
This is a good idea spoiled by a hopeless implementation.

Brilliant idea, fantastic service

I was recommended Slothmove by my conveyancer to help with address updates. I used the service last week, and the journey was very straightforward. You can see your updates in a dashboard, which I thought was nifty; so far, I’ve had updates from most of my companies - I genuinely can’t believe it’s that easy. One question, though, can I add an update that I missed or is it too late?

AVOID AT ALL COSTS-DATA BREACH

Slothmove incorrectly updated my address and sent my driving licence to an incorrect address, which they now have no record of. Therefore I am left with a mess of organising a new driving licence with my personal data sent to unknown persons.
