Smart Estate Agent Reviews

We chose Smart after researching and talking to other local estate agents. They gave the most appropriate valuation on our property (and crucially made their valuation). Beyond that, they were always friendly, knowledgeable without being overwhelming, available to talk and consistent. More importantly they were true to their business ethos and word throughout the whole process. In our opinion having worked with other agents, Smart are the benchmark for the Exeter area.

Jack has been amazing at helping us find a property. We’ve been looking for a property for 7 months and he has helped put us at ease and found us the perfect property would 10/10 recommend!

Jack was a very cheery and great letting agent. Showed me round the house at a nice pace and answered all my questions.

Josh was really helpful and explained everything clearly

Met Josh for a viewing today. Very professional and answered all my questions. It wasn’t quite right for me once I looked at it, but a good viewing all the same. Thanks Josh!

Absolutely amazing! Very professional, great time management, overall a very good viewing.

Charlie contacted me about fitting alarms in accordance with new rules...at the time explained that there was a problem with guttering...water over flowing...the next day the fitters came...who also dealt with the guttering...impressed my neighbour as well as problem solved...thanks to Charlie and Josh...Terry Griffin

Natasha dealt efficiently with a very unusual situation experienced by my tenant: an influx of bats! All was resolved and the tenant is happy.

Josh was professional and helpful when showing the property. He's also been a great help in the renting process.

We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Ottaway, he gave us the opportunity for a digital viewing and responded quickly to all our inquiries. The process of applying and closing the deal was clear and swift.

I appreciate how swift and efficient the viewing was booked in, on the same day when I rang the agency. I had a viewing with Jack Ottaway, whose professional and knowledgable about the apartment. Knowing that I was viewing other properties, he was not pushy at all and genuinely tried his best to offer me other options to meet my expectations.

I would recommend Smart Estate Agent.

Way better experience than with any of the other estate agents we applied through. Mr Ottaway, who organised a viewing for my partner and I, was always super quick to respond, made a special exception for digital viewing, and just generally made the process of applying less stressy with how organised and helpful he was. Was really great.

Josh was great at showing us the property. He was really charismatic, insightful and really knew his stuff. Couldn’t recommend more

Jack Ottaway was easy to contact, quick to respond and very friendly

I am currently a tenant in a property managed by Smart estate agents. I currently have an issue with the drain on the bath. It has now been over a week with having to shower while standing in grey water and emptying as much water as I can with a saucepan into the sink.

I have chased Smarts for an update but my emails have been unanswered and no information has been added to the app that you have to use for maintenance issues

Natasha always responds to my need immediately. Thank you so much for all your efforts. Appreciate all your help. Thank you.

Jack has been so helpful throughout the leasing process. He responded to all of my inquiries very quickly and went above and beyond to help through every step. Amazing!!!

Viewed a flat with Josh from Smart Estate Agent. Friendly welcome, showed me around, answered any questions and let me have a look round the flat in my own time. Good communication before and after the viewing.

Amelia dealt with our purchase from the start; she has been positive, friendly and professional. She has kept us informed during the process and this has been much appreciated. Everyone one else we spoke to at Smart has been friendly and helpful, too. Thank you for making a stressful experience much less so!
