I ordered a Barbour jacket with standard postage. I wasn't convinced it would arrive in time for my trip. I contacted customer service and was taken care of in a timely manner - she added a personal touch and made sure my jacket got to me in time.

As a foreign customer, I found shopping at Smith&Morris easy and convenient. Very nice collection of Barbour jackets that are not easily found on the continent.

I ordered a Barbour jacket for my husband's birthday. I was notified fairly quickly that the item was out of stock but would be despatched within 7 days. I was kept updated and the jacket arrived as promised. I would recommend this company.

After searching for a Barbour Bonner jacket for months Smith and Morris e mailed to say that they had one in stock, it was posted out on time. Brilliant service! Would use them again! Would recommend.

I feel that a business offering a truly excellent customer service would have offered to absorb these costs; that said, I cannot fault the efforts of the Smith & Morris's customer service agent, who was unfailingly polite and helpful throughout.

Item ordered was temporarily unavailable but I received an email the following day to apologise and to let me know when the item would be back in stock and dispatched. Item duly arrived as promised. Wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again.

The ordering process was very clear. The item arrived within 3 days. Unfortunately it was the wrong size and had to be returned (£2 return option chosen) and a courteous email received. The replacement item arrived also within 3 days.
