Precious Pet Sitters were very helpful as I have never used a Pet Sitting Service before. They were efficient, you meet the sitter in advance, which is a great level of comfort to know the person before you leave your Pet with them. Kind, friendly and caring and very professional. I had a great Sitter for my Cat called Natasha. Felix was very well looked after while I was away and Natasha sent me pictures every day. It was a delight to come back to a happy pet who had been well looked after. I cannot recommend Precious Pet Sitters highly enough. Thank you.

We approached Precious Sitters for a house sitter over Xmas and New Year 2026. The registration process was professional and thorough. We were sent details of a house sitter they thought would be suitable and we met her. She was kind and obviously adored the dogs. We have one old English sheepdog who is 11 and has hurt her cruciate ligament so moving is difficult. An Old English sheepdog puppy of 21 weeks and my daughters golden retriever who is 4. The sitter was great with them all . We would have no hesitation in recommending the agency and the sitter.

We had a wonderful house sitter, Fiona, who took care of our dog and the house while we were away. Everything was well cared for and we found everything clean and tidy and our dog happy and well looked after. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Fiona. Hope to see you again soon.

We recently used Precious Pets for our dog, Norbert, when we went away for 10 days, Caroline was superb. She sent regular photos/videos of Norbert which meant we could have a lovely relaxed holiday knowing he was being well cared for. On our return we could tell he had been well looked after and Caroline and Norbert had really bonded. We wouldn’t hesitate to use SM Precious pets every time we go away. I used SM Precious Pets after seeing them on Facebook and they were brilliant! Karen explained everything really clearly and recommended Tamara, who was amazing with my dog. She stuck to our routine, kept in touch while I was away, and sent lots of reassuring photos. Would 100% recommend! 🐾

We had a wonderful sitter (Fiona) who looked after our dog for nearly three weeks, and was happy to stay an extra day when our flight was cancelled. She kept in contact whilst we were away and made us feel completely relaxed on holiday and sure that our dog was being well looked after. Our house was very well looked after including watering the garden in the hot weather. To top it all she also helped our elderly neighbour who called round for assistance after her emails had been hacked.

Our dog sitter Alex, looked after our precious pup Tilly and took care of our home while we were on a 10 day holiday. We had regular pup dates’ which was reassuring for us! She had a Wonderful time which subsequently meant we had a lovely holiday.would highly recommend

I have an anxious dog who needs medication to control his anxiety. He is also working with a behaviouralist. It is so important to have sitters that are in tune with what Buddy needs when he is being looked after. As the impact of his anxiety can last for days post an event! Kelly and Rein were diligent and took everything on board that I explained. Buddy did amazing and was relaxed and happy afterwards too which is a great relief for me! I would highly recommend precious pet sitters.

I felt totally at ease leaving Chester with Caroline. I had a meet and greet with Caroline initially and she was so good with Chester and he took to her straight away
Whilst I was on holiday Caroline sent pics and messages keeping me updated which was really lovely

Precious pets allways put my mind at ease that my fur baby will be loved and very looked after. They have a thorough vetting system to ensure the people that look after our dogs are trustworthy and love animals with the experience necessary to take care of them and give our pets what they need. They are a professional and fully licensed company.
It's very important to me that the sitters have a good range of experience in looking after animals and that they care about them.
I receive photos and updates of how my girl is while they are with the sitters which is very reassuring. Also my girl knows who is a good person, she has allways been happy to be looked after Precious pets sitters and feels safe and loved. I can't ask for more than that. I highly recommend Precious Pets.

I have been a SM Precious house sitter for just over 3 years now. I feel incredibly lucky to do a job (which doesn't actually feel like a job) I love. The only downside is the end of the sit when I have to leave 🙁. I've establish some lovely bonds over the years including with owners...but especially the pets, so I have a very full heart ❤️ with a lot more to give.

Julia and the team have been amazing, if I ever have had any worries Julia has always put my mind instantly at ease. Last year I became very poorly out of the blue. I hate letting people down, but Julia just sorted this all out with ease and regularly checked in on me to make sure I was ok...and time to recover just wasn't an issue...which I am truly grateful for.

I would highly recommend this as the go to company for all your pet sitting needs.

If you're looking to become a sitter and love animals and have the experience to do so...well it's a no brainer in my opinion.

I plan to stick around for as long as the team/owners will have me 😊

Thank you so much Precious Pets Sitters. Aurelie was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat. We had been worried as he had only recently been diagnosed with IBD and we had not left him since. Aurelie put our minds at rest. She looked beyond the puppy pads and feeding schedules. She provided us with updates every day meaning we were able to enjoy our holiday. We came home to a happy pet. I would thoroughly recommend Precious Pet Sitters for peace of mind and professional service.

Frankly , I find your recent feedback, both surprising and disappointing- particularly given that, following my interview I was told you were very happy with me and intended to add me to your books.
To be told later after I had to chase for a response, that there were concerns about my handling skills and the dog breaking free without any previous mention or discussion comes across as unprofessional disrespectful and not acceptable. If they were genuine concerns all this should’ve been raised at my face-to-face meeting , not retroactively used as justification for silence. I value clear and honest communication and transparency- none of which were shown here. My time and effort were taken without any apparent intention of following through, and I won’t pretend that this is acceptable!!!!
You should not have wasted my time and asked me to do a DBS then fill in the endless documents , signing the contracts and providing references.
It was all a complete waste of time. Precious pets need to learn going forward to treat others with more respect and transparency.

I joined the team at SmPrecious Pets as a sitter in 2021 and I just want to compliment Julia, and her team for being top notch in their professionalism and animal care knowledge. I was introduced to Julia's canine clan and after the necessary initial skills assessment, I was made to feel as part of the extended family from the start. I've been offered some wonderful sits over the years and I've enjoyed every moment walking various dogs and caring for other pets including cats, hamsters, rabbits and tortoises. I have always received help, advice and support when required and I can highly recommend SmPrecious Pets to anyone who has animal care experience and would like to join Julia's team of dedicated, trustworthy and reliable sitters in the Herts and outer London area. I was shocked to hear of my dog sitters experience with Precious Pets. He is an amazing dog sitter. He asked me to give him a reference, which I did. It was truthful and glowing as both my dogs and us feel completely secure that he’s looking after them and taking great care of our home.
I think it was a waste of my time supplying a reference. He was interviewed and accepted and asked to pay for a DBS check. Then received rude emails accusing him of not supplying the information requested, he had done everything. He has not heard from them since. I am shocked that this is considered acceptable.

Exceptional service at every step of the process from first enquiry contact to the sitting itself. All our needs were listened to and met and the sitter chosen for us, Naomi was a dream.
Naomi sat both our dogs (a border collie and a Jack Russell) and our long haired cat and she was just perfect. Kind, calm and knowledgeable we didn't worry at all about them while we were away (we received updates as requested on how everyone was doing) and when we came back everyone was relaxed and happy.
I'd recommend SM Precious Pets unreservedly to anyone who wants the best experience for their pet's when they go away. (I'd especially recommend Naomi and I know our animals would too!)

We have used SMPrecious a couple of times now with our most recent request made at quite short notice. We have an elderly dog which needs quite a few interventions throughout the day for health reasons and our fabulous sitter took this in her stride with infinite patience. We won’t leave our old lady with many people. SMPrecious sitters have filled us with confidence allowing us to go away without worrying about her.

I have been using SM Precious Pets for four years now and would have no hesitation in highly recommending them. They have a team of very experienced sitters who clearly care deeply about their four-legged charges. A special shout out to Chaya - for this sit - and Julia - my hound loves them!

Anna was kind and patient and very loving with the dogs who are super needy .. there were a few for Anna to watch, but everyone was happy
