Excellent experience this week with Solaris relocations to prepare for our move to Sydney from London. I work in Logistics myself and am therefore quite a harsh critic, but have had an exemplary experience so far. John was very professional and accurate with my upfront quotation, with Richard providing easy access to information around my move date.

The crew who turned up on the day were absolute machines. Mark, Martin & Luke worked tirelessly and were a pleasure to deal with. I've been really impressed with the experience all round thus far.

Asian Tigers and their UK partner Solaris were the best choice and delivered beyond expectations. I’d recommend them unreservedly.

From start to finish I must say Solaris relocations have been 1st class ,we are so please we came with this company ...After having many quotes from other companies with this relocation to Thailand we found that Solaris was very competitive on price and also having a friend who had also used this company to relocate we had to go with you....the collection of goods and the packing and wrapping was 5 star ....All the information and updates from Courtney and Chloe at Solaris was again 5 star ....The tracking of the shipment on the app was great and very useful.....The Thailand courier company kept us update and everything went through customs fine, the delivery of goods from the Thailand courier company was again 5 star , all our goods were in 1st class condition when they arrived ...over all we are extremely pleased with the service we received from Solaris relocations ....Thank you Solaris ....keep up the good work

Great experience with Solaris of getting 3 boxes shipped from the UK to Trinidad. Efficient, responsive and enormous patience from Courtney with my endless questions. Very fast initial response from Chloe. Great support from the Trinidad team including Peter, Danielle, Kenneth, Justin and his colleague in navigating the exhausting bureaucracy.

We recently used Solaris Relocations to move our household goods and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

From the very first enquiry, the sales team (John and Courtney) were friendly, patient and clear. The quoting process was great. Every question I had (and there were a few!) was answered quickly and professionally, which really helped take the stress out of planning an international move.

The packing team on the 2 days were brilliant. They arrived on time, were polite and respectful of our home, and worked carefully but efficiently. All of our belongings were wrapped, packed and labelled with real care and attention, and they checked in with us throughout to make sure we were happy with how things were being handled.

Moving is stressful at the best of times, but Solaris made the whole experience so much easier. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional relocation company.

Excellent communication throughout by Susan at Solaris ,regarding the progress of our shipment. On the day of delivery and unpacking the team were professional, very efficient and friendly.

The are unreliable and are not very transparent on pricing and laws. They were unable to deliver our shipment to India for 4 months and it was deemed to be lost. We need to puruse legal case with them now, as all the money was taken upfront.

I had a terrible experience with this relocation company. My shipment was collected on 3 July 2025, and I was promised delivery within 8–12 weeks. I confirmed the booking exactly as they requested, trusting their commitment and planning my move around it.

It has now been 18 weeks, and I still haven’t received my belongings. The delay has been completely unacceptable, but what made it worse was the poor communication and lack of accountability throughout the process. Not once did I receive a proactive update. Every single time, I had to chase them for information, and even then the responses were vague, inconsistent, or simply unhelpful.

For a relocation company, the most basic expectation is reliability and transparency. Unfortunately, I received neither. Their handling of my shipment has caused enormous inconvenience and unnecessary stress for my family. If a company cannot deliver within its own promised timelines, or communicate honestly, it should seriously rethink its operations.

I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice. This has been one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had.

I recently used Solaris for my move from Manchester to Thailand, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team worked quickly and efficiently, and the whole process felt surprisingly smooth for such a big international relocation. Every single item arrived in Thailand perfectly wrapped with no damage whatsoever — their packing quality is outstanding, and it’s clear they take real pride in looking after customers’ belongings.

Communication was another major highlight. John and his team were fantastic to deal with: friendly, responsive, and clear at every stage. They kept me updated, answered all my questions, and guided me through every part of the process, including paperwork and customs requirements. Their support made everything feel organised and stress-free.

When my shipment arrived in Thailand, I was also pleasantly surprised that the taxes and charges were not high, and customs clearance was smooth thanks to their accurate preparation and documentation.

Overall, Solaris delivered a reliable, professional, and genuinely helpful service. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone needing a trustworthy relocation company for an international move.

Quite was competitive. Sales staff were friendly, open and honest without being at all pushy. Removal team arrived on time. Very friendly staff. Every member of team came over and greeted me with a warm handshake and introduced themselves. They were extremely helpful and very professional during the entire process. Throughout the process Solaris has deliver everything that they have promised to the highest standards. I have no complaints or concerns at all. I have been very happy with the excellent service.

From the outset, the Solaris team were helpful and responsive. The subcontractors who packed our items were friendly, efficient, and completed everything on time. In fact, the shipment arrived slightly earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

Unfortunately, two boxes were missing from our delivery. The first contained TV leads, which meant we couldn’t use our televisions for an additional 6 weeks. This would have been manageable had Solaris communicated with us proactively. However, we only discovered that this box had been sent separately after contacting the team ourselves. Solaris were aware of the situation but failed to update us, leaving us completely in the dark until the items eventually turned up.

The second missing box, containing our children’s toys and an air fryer, never arrived. While the air fryer was insured, there was a £75 excess to pay, so we had to buy a new one. The toys, though not of high monetary value, were sentimental, and that loss is irreplaceable. We also had a number of fragile items broken including keepsakes such as gifts from home and baubles. I'd recommend adding those to your hand luggage / travel luggage where possible.

Overall, Solaris did well on logistics and timing, but their communication when things went wrong was disappointing. A little transparency and proactive customer care would have turned an average experience into a better one.
