I had an amazing experience with Solaris Relocations when moving my belongings from Leeds to Calgary. From start to finish, the team was so helpful and professional. They kept me updated at every stage, handled everything with great care, and made what could’ve been a stressful international move completely smooth and worry-free. All my items arrived safely and on time. I truly appreciate their friendly service and attention to detail - highly recommend Solaris to anyone planning a move overseas!

What is a particular stressful situation in relocating, was made incredibly stress FREE, starting with the rapid quote process and date setting within 10 days this was handled effectively and efficiently.

The collection and the speed of the loading was fabulous with a very pleasent driver, who was exceptionally helpful.

Then behind the scenes customer support was superb!

From start to finish Solaris were super helpful and patient with us. We were moving our whole family from the UK to Canada and they were lovely and helpful the whole way through. Our shipment arrived on time, and everything was packed well so we hadn’t had any surprises unboxing.

Solaris packed my items in the UK mid April 2025. They sent me a tracking number to say that my shipping was on its way and would arrive in Canada between 7-12 weeks. The tracking number showed that my shipping had arrived in Toronto. Because Solaris said up to 12 weeks I waited until then, but when by shipment was still showing as in Toronto weeks later I contacted them to see when it would be delivered to my home. Solaris emailed Brytor (their Canadian partner) here in Canada, saying the delayed delivery reflected badly on them. But it turned out my shipment had never left the UK. Solaris marked it as sent, but it remained in their warehouse. They gave me a partial refund for this mishap. Over 5 months later my shipment arrived to my house in Canada. The delay would have been OK but I had 3 beautiful handmade ceramic large pots. 2 were wrapped in paper only, with just the smallest amount of paper to buffer them and arrived broken. The 3rd was wrapped in bubble wrap and was in one piece. It was such a disappointment and could have been averted had the 2 been packed in bubble wrap as well.

Really professional service from the packing crew Billy and Adrian. Would highly recommend.

A great service! From communications throughout and delivery of my shipping!

We recently used Solaris to pack and ship our household possessions from the UK to New Zealand. The team were extremely friendly and helpful and took the time to go through all the details. They were also very reasonably priced compared to the same service offered by other companies.

On the day of collection the packing crew, (Jaime, Paul and Chris I believe) arrived on time and did an excellent job of packing and documenting everything which needed to go. They were careful and considerate throughout and highly professional.

The warehouse team also need a mention as, several days after collection of our goods, we realised that some sentimental personal items which should have gone to family, had accidentally been packed. The warehouse team were able to locate the correct box and the items for us to ensure they weren't shipped. They offered to post the items back to us at our cost which would have been perfect, however we elected to go and collect them to avoid the risk of loss in the post and will be picking them up tomorrow.

Our goods are still awaiting shipment at the moment but so far the entire process has been well managed and the whole team have been responsive and helpful with all our queries and questions.
Using Solaris has taken away a great deal of stress from a very hectic international move.

The crew, Mark & Martin were very courteous and professional. Packing & loading was carried out swiftly and carefully. We were very pleased with the service.

Solaris helped me move from the U.K. to the US. I split my shipment between sea and water, and had a few items that needed special packing. Sam was particularly patient with me in deciding how to best ship my goods, and Courtney seamlessly led on the import and shipping process. The moving crew (Jack and his father?) was friendly and efficient, and I got my airfreight items without delay and with no unexpected costs. I will recommend Solaris to my friends and anyone who needs to move internationally! Thank you!

We used Solaris to move from UK to USA. They provided a more affordable quote than other companies and still provided a great service. All items were packaged safely and delivered with minimal damage

The Solaris team were a pleasure to work with. The packing crew did an excellent job packing and inventorying the stuff in my storage space. I recommend them with enthusiasm!

We were estimated 7-12 weeks to move our baby’s furniture from the UK to US. Goods collected in August and seemingly not arriving until December. I would proceed with caution on their quoted timings. Very much lacking in communication after they get you to sign the contract and quite rude to deal with if any questions are asked. Personally, I would avoid at all costs if you want to see your items at any point in the near future.

Saying this, the team that they sent to pack our goods were second to none. They are hired by Solaris and not actually part of the company so that is probably why.

Solaris is well priced and deliver everything you would want from an international shipping company.

As daunting as it is to move overseas, the team at Solaris have made the physical aspect of moving so easy.
From John at the initial stages, I certainly hassled him w all sorts of questions, to which he always had a speedy response, then Courtney to arrange the logistics, and Billy & the boys were great packing it all up, efficient and concise.

The thought of shipping all my life’s stuff from two locations was causing me so much anxiety. The process of booking the team at Solaris wasn’t as nerve wracking as my mind made it seem and they were really helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way. From Chloe who set up the initial evaluation to Billy and Adrian who did all the packing and moving over 2 days, I felt understood and supported. The team are efficient, professional and experienced and I was in good hands.

I have used them twice for intercontinental moves. Once from USA to UK and from UK to Italy. They pack and take care of your items great. Delivery is sometimes longer than you like but that is government more than their service. They get your stuff through customs with relative ease. Good communication and reliablity
