I paid a $500 deposit on a 20kw battery and inverter in July. $6499 quote. Still waiting for installation of batteries. Salesman was Steve Smith (should have stuck to cricket) , always has an excuse for a delay and never gets back to you. I will give them till end November and try and recoup deposit.

Ive dealt with this Company before and it wasnt too bad. Not great but not too bad.
However, when things go bad they seem to go really bad.
On the back of the Australian Federal Governments Solar Battery incentives i completed an Order with Solar Power Nation.
That was several Months ago and now with still no installation it is impossible to even talk to someone about it.
They have a Call Centre who flatly refuses to transfer you to a Manager or any human who can discus the situation.
They pronise to take a message and get someone to call back but they NEVER do.
This is what you call being Stonewalled.
Come in Solar Power Nation just do the right thing for your customers.
If you cant supply the goods and services offer a reasonable resolution or simply offer a refund but dont leave your customers in the dark and refuse to talk with them.
Frankly after this experience with this Company i wouldnt even let them atep foot on the property.

PLEASE STAY AWAY THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE A NEXT VICTIM. This only one off service.
I am going to submit the building commission complaint letter to Fair Trade NSW.
For those whom victims of this company please together submit the complaint to Fair Trade to stop this fraud business. It is scam.
I have solar power installed 2 years ago. It was working fine and have no issue with them at all but when the issue happened. I was shocked about this company. They have terrible after sale service. I couldn’t believe as how this company still exist in Australia as so ashamed. I have been waited for 7 weeks still not give me any ETA when the issue will be finalised. I kept calling them and Sarah advised me that she scheduled one of your installer coming to me property on the 25/10/2025 and we stayed home whole day waiting and no one showed up and no explanation.
On the 31/10/2025 I spoke to Hayley.T . She advised me that she will share my contact to Atif will contact me on the weekend and again no one called me.
On the 3/11/2025 Sarah emailed me repeated of what I have been told.
On the 5/11/25 I emailed Hayley asking for advised and have received nothing from her.
I got the local electrician came to my property to check and he found out that main switch for inverter burned out and advised to get replacement cost $250 +GST. I told him I just need a quote to get approval from your company first then I will get back to him but he told me he will charge me double for coming back it means i need to pay $500 plus GST.
So I just have it replaced and discussed with Sarah.T on the next day and she confirmed me that your company won’t process any payment. She told that all installers in your company are fully scheduled for the jobs and she has contacted someone outside her company so get verbal quote of $150 for doing my job but not booked him yet.
I negotiated with her as if it is a case then request your company to pay my local electrician $150 same amount of your quote and I am happy to pay the different but she still rejected it.
And later she emailed me told me that she already scheduled someone coming on Wed but didn’t state which date and not sure as it is going to happen or have a repeat as the 25/10/2025.
I told her if it this the case that we are not followed your company’s rules then I will request my local electrician to take the one have been replace off and put the burned out main switch back as beginning and get someone to come to my property to fix it but still rejected it. She emailed me that the schedule has been cancelled.
There is no issued to be solved and no negotiation to your company.
My solar it will under warranty as workmanship and installation 5+5 years warranty and now I have to get it done on my end and paid out of my pocket.

Avoid avoid. I first signed and paid $500 deposit for a home battery installation in July it is now end of October. No communication at all unless I call and ask what is happening. I’ve asked for a refund on my deposit and cancel order. They accepted but 10 days later and another phone call I have not been reimbursed. There is a reason they have 1.7 star reviews. That is appalling for a company. I’d be embarrassed if I was the owner

This company is a scam,
Asking for deposit and did not fill the contract and did not refund the deposit. It does not want to reply you even you make hundred phone calls, emails...It totally ignores you. What a shame.

BEWARE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They’re incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. My system failed within a week. I called 11 times in 2 days, got hung up on 3 times, and never got a call back despite multiple promises. No manager ever available. I’m honestly disgusted – they shouldn’t be in business.

SPN takes orders without stock or over books then starts to use delaying tactics at the customers expense and patience. Customer service post order signing is nil to nothing, they do not return calls or reply to email. I had to cancel my order as I was lied to constantly either battery not in stock or Inverter hard to find, waited over four months beyond the initial target date of 7 July 2025. system was booked in the first week of June 2025. I am currently struggling to get confirmation of when my $500 deposit will be returned. Not holding any hopes as these scammers may run with it and disappear if they have scammed large number of customers.

I signed a contract (QN-0626135251) and paid my deposit, only to be met with months of silence and missed deadlines. Eventually, Solar Power Nation admitted they could not supply the battery we had agreed upon.
They offered a full refund and asked for my bank details. I provided them immediately, but they have failed to return my deposit.
I have been left with no choice but to escalate this to Consumer and Business Services. Be very cautious before giving this company your money.

Terrible experience with their after-sales service. They don't even deserve 1 star rating, but unfortunately there is no option to give a 0 star rating.
A roof tile was cracked during their solar panel installation, leading to a major leak and property damage. We thought their 5+5 years installation and workmanship warranty would give us peace of mind. We were wrong. We provided them with everything they asked for—the inspection report from a licensed roofer and photos—but they didn't sent anyone to even look at the damage. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that won't stand by its work or its word. Their warranty is a hollow promise, and their lack of accountability is appalling.
Avoid at all costs if you expect them to stand behind their work.

Got solar pannels installed and issues popped the very next day. 😠😡😤 Did repeat followups for 2 months without anyone bothering to come and check the issue. Finally requested full refund via fair trading which forced someone to call with audacity to arrogantly dismissing the refund request and making it feel like they are doing a favour of fixing the issue.

I paid for deposit for installing a solar battery in Qld, and have been told unable to install it due to not enough space. i ask for my deposit refund. Contact the company, no way to get my deposit back! They keep saying someone will call me back, but never did!

WARNING !! Solar Power Nation is a JOKE !! Wish I too could give ZERO stars. Quote No. 0627135430 Paid $400 deposit and agreed to go ahead with a 20kw battery install. Got a phone call the day before they planned to install the battery and was told I needed to pay another $900 to install my battery in the garage ??? Given this $900 installation fee was NEVER mentioned to me at ANY time leading up to this, I respectfully told them where they could shove their $900 price increase :) I cancelled the agreement as per my entitlement and requested a refund of my $400 deposit. From that moment on.... Solar Power Nation has "Ghosted" me in every facet of communication. They will not reply to my emails and my numerous attempts to speak via phone to the sales manager who mislead me on my quote (Jay Singh) has been futile. The Myanmar call centre suddenly is having trouble with their phone systems every time I call OR [Name Removed] is not at work today. I have been left to retrieve my $400 deposit via the Magistrates Court of Queensland and a QCAT application. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT USING SOLAR POWER NATION !!!

Solar inverter stopped working. Contacted support who requested a series of photos. Followed all their instructions and they refused to send anyone to inspect the system. Final results was to deal with the faulty system with the electricity company. Then they stopped responding

Be careful – this company is fraudulent and works with dodgy individuals.

They lure customers in by offering low prices or cheap quotes, but their after-sales service is non-existent. In my case, they installed new solar panels on my roof, and the installer was clearly unprofessional and careless. He didn’t even secure the bolts properly, which caused damage to my ceiling.

When I filed a complaint, they started giving me excuses. First, they said they needed to review the photos and videos. It took them three days just to review the photos. After that, they said that if the damage was their fault, they would cover the cost. Otherwise, I would have to pay a $300 + GST callout fee.

Despite this, no one ever came to inspect the damage, and they continue to make excuses. Totally unprofessional and irresponsible behavior.

They also keep changing their statements frequently, which shows a complete lack of accountability.

Don't trust this company. They gave me a certficate warranty for 10 years. But when 3 of my properties have leaking issues or broken tiles during their installation, they began to say that they only give warranty for 6 months. The most rediculous thing is that I lost my case in NCAT. It would be a waste for consumers to go to NCAT. Although I have provided all documents including a 10 year warranty, NCAT wouldn't take it. When a consumer's right is not protected by the government, it is better to stay away from business like Solar Power Nation. You might pay less now, then you pay more for repairing damages caused by their work.

The inverter has a red light on saying and displaying the worh "Fault". I have rang the company about 20 times and left messages with no reply. i have texted them on their chat box with no reply. There is someone emailing me who is not calling me back. i have reconfigured the inverter on the solarman app which shows the inverter is on. however there is no production happening. The resoluttions team is absolutley useless. i will be contacting fair trading and lodging a complaint against them

Company does not respond to emails. I've emailed their 'info' account, as well as Vish and James to try and get off their spam lists; with no response

I just like to warn everyone out there don’t deal with this company, they are every dodgy the number listed is only a call centre not their actual business! They con me in to referring a friend so they can get more business and return was a $100 gift that you won’t receive ! You try chasing them up & they’ll fool you by saying is coming give me your bank details until after a few weeks they will not return your email or pick up when they can see is you calling !! The most extraordinary thing is this company is willing to jeopardise their reputation over $100 , it really shows how they operate & look after their clients.
