In 1953, SW Hart and Co., a pioneering plumbing company based in Perth, decided that the sun was the best energy source to heat water in Western Australian homes. As a result, solar hot water in Australia was born and Solahart geared up for expansion.

It would have 5 stars except that it took so long and not all that was due to Solahart, Ergon was mainly to blame. The boys who installed were wonderful!!! The staff in the office were helpful and went right out of their way to help us. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

We would recommend Solohart @ Rockingham
We would recommend Solohart situated at Dixon Rd, Rockingham as we recently replaced our solar hot water system after 20 years of continual service.
The reason for replacement being it had a gas booster on it which we can no longer get parts for. Solarhart installed a complete electric solar system and it has proved to be incredible choice.
The staff of Rockingham Solarhart have always maintained our system & are very friendly & helpful plus the installation was very efficient service,

Right from the start, Rachael was wonderful and helpful. Owning a Solarhart hot water system for nearly 34 years- I wouldn't have any other hot water system!

I had another 10kw battery and a solar…
I had another 10kw battery and a solar heat pump water heater installed. Very helpful office staff. The plummer and electrican where to great guys they installed the water heater. The next day the battery was installed by 2 different men both lots of guys where great to talk to about what was going to happen. Thank you solahart. Fred Michel

Edit. I've transferred to amber energy and am part of a beta project between combined energy and amber.
It's still an almost black box but I can see that if you went all in on combined energy and got some smart relays and smart hot water that it can control it would be an easy hands off system.
1 extra star for integrating will with amber
The salesperson was great, they didn't promise the moon and gave realistic expectations.
The install team were fantastic, despite a few simple mistakes the apprentices made that weren't picked up. It was quite a complicated install and they were happy to come back several times and fix it up.
The goodwe battery and the solar panels seem to be doing the job nicely.
The home energy management system is an almost black box where inputs go in and decisions are made but I have no input apart from swearing when it charges my battery overnight and starts exporting solar at 7am...

The roof was left open after the electrician left, leaving the wiring exposed. Luckily this was discovered by ourselves just in time before a storm came which would have ruined all the electricity and ceilings.
