I have had an electrician and Solar specialist come to inspect the batteries that 1komma5 installed.
I have contacted you many times about the batteries underperforming and we were told that the batteries would reduce our power consumption and would take over when we had power outages. The batteries have never reached full capacity, and our power bills have gone up. The poorest service ever. Please be careful dealing with this company.

While a fair delay between ordering and installation due to demand they kept me informed and up to date. Last minute changes were no problem. Installation was good and good quality at a good price with good follow up and back up and information. Friendly informed staff from project management to installation. Would recommend them anytime.

My experience with 1KOMMA5 started off on a frustrating note due to a lack of clear communication during the early stages of the process. They became more responsive, transparent, and proactive in keeping me informed, which helped rebuild my confidence in both the company and their product. It was clear they were committed to making things right rather than brushing issues aside.

The battery installation itself was flawless. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and technical expertise. Everything was set up neatly and functioned perfectly from day one.

What stood out most was their ongoing support after the initial problems. They followed up to ensure everything was running smoothly and remained available to answer questions. Overall, while the start was rocky, 1KOMMA5 showed integrity and dedication in delivering a quality outcome.

From the initial sale to the current post installation support, we have been very happy with 1Komma5. Although our installation was slightly delayed, this worked in our favour because of the timing closer to the release of Heartbeat AI. We were clearly kept up to date all through the process by coordinators including Jake.

Battery installation went very smoothly - the installation team were on time, very professional, and gave us some excellent advice about inclusion of new power outlets to maintain connectivity for key electricals during outages. They also relabelled the switch board clearly.

We have been very happy with 1Komma5 and the support prior to and post installation. We are also unexpectedly learning about the energy market!

Our experience dealing with Solaray and then IKomma5 “Service Department” has been appalling.
We added 18 panels and a battery to our 11 panels in 2023. The new panels did not work for 6 months and only when we included a lawyer in a detailed letter did technicians come to fix the connection.
Our next problem arose when Itellhub attempted to install a Smart meter in October 2025 to the board for which the installers had issued a Certificate of Compliance. The installer’s ‘remediation’ has just been rejected for the third time. We have given up and contacted our electrician.
Our third issue is also current – Ikomma5’s “Service department” has ignored our notice from Enphase that some microinverters are not communicating. We had one response asking for details and two weeks later have not heard another word.
Our battery is filling very slowly and the contact at the service department does not respond to emails.
ADDITION
IKomma5 responded to this online 5 days ago saying how sorry they were and asking us to contact them. I sent phone number and email address. Not a word!! It looks as it was just for PR.

When we decided to install solar the main requirement was to pick a really good company to sign up with and as it turned out we made a great choice with 1KOMMA5 right from the first contact with Emmet all the way throughout the process to installation. The crew who installed our system was really good and friendly also booking co-ordinator Maddison was very helpful and friendly also.

Great overall experience from the initial proposal all the way through to installation. Booking in an installation took slightly longer due to the volume of appointments however its expected. Very professional and slick engagement all the way through the entire process. Would recommend strongly.

We had a solar and battery system installed just over a month ago, and it has been nothing but problems since day one. The system has been unreliable, and now it has escalated to the point where my house has no power at all.

What is completely unacceptable is the lack of support.

I currently have an open support ticket that has gone 8 days without a single response. During that time, I have sent multiple follow-ups and updates, including reporting that the system is not functioning and my home is without power. Still nothing.

No acknowledgement. No troubleshooting. No urgency.

This is not a minor inconvenience. This is a complete failure of a critical home system, and the company responsible has effectively gone silent.

When you are selling and installing systems that people rely on for basic power, disappearing when something goes wrong is unacceptable.

I have just had my battery installed the whole process was very seamless. I was kept informed throughout. The installers were very professional and I am very pleased with the outcome.

I had my panels and battery installed yesterday and was very impressed with the process. Lucus, in sales, came to my house and explained everything to me, went through different quotes and options and was patient and professional.
Jake helped with the process and booking, and followed up to make sure everything went well with the installation.
The guys that came out were prompt, polite and professional. They cleaned up before they left. Overall it was a positive experience and I will be recommending this company to anyone who is looking for solar

1K5 was on point every step of the way.
From the go, they identified what system would be most efficient for our energy goals.
They communicated the process and kept me up to date at each key milestone.
Step by step instructions made it easy to apply for third party rebate (Tesla).
The install team were punctual and neat. If you know electricians, the latter is not a common trait IMO :)
While there are several battery providers, constant solid reviews speak for themselves.

The guys Andrew , Tom and others were helpful and polite. The follow up service has also been great with Jake calling to make sure we understood the app functions and if we needed any further assistance.
