This is my second phone ordered from Spectronics and this experience has been nothing short of perfection. Ordered on a Saturday and the phone was on my doorstep on Thursday. No signature required in person which made the transaction even easier. Highly recommend

This website is a scam. No one responds to email, phone., or chat. Do not buy anything from this website. Be warned.

Product came quickly to a remote location.

In the end, everything worked out but the company lost my confidence along the way. They are smart to offer Canadians an array of smartphones not available locally, though the lack of transparency that they are actually operating out of Hong Kong, despite the Ontario address and business number, will continue to keep new customers suspicious of the site and their purchases. This also caused communication issues such as being in a totally different time zone. To step up the Canadian trust game I suggest:

1. Increase the resolution of the site logo: it renders poorly on new generation smartphones and looks suspicious.

2. Send out more emails regarding purchase; respond to purchase email questions; use a name and company signature in emails to look more professional… but maybe this had something to do with technology laws in Hong Kong?

3. Edit flowery copy that makes my head tilt and gives away that you are not actually operating in Canada, ex.: “Our roots go deep in Canada, and our headquarters exemplify the spirit of technological progress.”

I bought a Sony in Aug, which they shipped but it was a lemon and they after multiple attempts to reach them via email, live chat or email have not replied with honouring their warranty for exchange or return. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with this company. I never write reviews but I am so disappointed with this company that i want to share this so others don't fall into the same trap.

I ordered an A24 but it was not available and no word for 2 days. So I called Danny and he suggested an A35 but meanwhile I bought a phone case for the A24 and he said I will throw in a phone case (which never arrived) for $100 more, I agreed sent another e-transfer. So Thanks for not sticking to your word.

Purchased a Sony Xperia from Spectronic Canada , and I’m impressed with their service ! The ordering process was smooth and straightforward, and delivery was fast-much quicker than I anticipated. My phone arrived in perfect condition l.

I am currently STILL waiting for an update from this company. Ordered the phone Oct 2 and they were very quick to replay that my order was being processed. They said 3-5 business days in their response. Well here we are 10 days..no phone no tracking update ..NOTHING. I emailed 5 times and left 2 messages (no one is there to answer a call..not even sure if it's really an option to chat to anyone) Finally got a response at 1:05am Oct 10 (again a response a 1:05am makes no sense..shows me this isn't a real professional operation) saying I would have an update on a couple hours. Well here we are 2 days later and absolutely nothing. The chat feature is non responsive as is this company. I just want a refund at this point and again have asked numerous times to again NO RESPONSE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!! There's other online stores that actually offer a service and actually follow through with what they say they will do. I can't express enough the unprofessionalism of this company. Update coming if and when I actually get another response.

The website stated usually ships within 24hrs and an estimated 3-5 days for delivery. I ordered on the 19th and my order has not left the warehouse. With the chat avatar on the website they keep saying it will update in 24 hrs and that they are having issues at the warehouse. I will be starting the process of getting a refund and cancelling my order. I would avoid this company altogether.

I was somewhat sceptical of the web site after reading bad reviews. But I was able to web chat with someone about my order almost instantaneously. My order came promptly and they even included a voltage adapter for the charger,which was unexpected. So in my opinion overall it was a good experience and would buy from spectronic again
