i placed an order on the 22nd may still waiting for the order to get to me now june 18th contact the customer service they just keep u waiting until they start processing it so u can’t get ur refund!

Purchased Adidas trainers for twice weekly gym use from Elgin branch in Scotland. Within 4 weeks, plastic lace eyelets had begun to split. Store manager refused to replace or refund stating that I must have been tying them wrong. I don’t think so, been tying shoelaces for 60 years! His suggestion to contact Adidas directly was a complete waste of time; they cannot replace/refund if not purchased online. 2nd visit to Elgin store was met with the same rude, arrogant and unhelpful store manager who refused to give his name. Reluctantly he provided email for Sports Direct Head Office. Awful experience. I cannot recommend this shower of cowboys who have zero skills in customer service

Dreadful, dont have in store, so have to order online, pay for delivery, even to collect in store, can't return to store and have to pay again to return. Dreadful service.

I did an online order for a few items. When the order arrived i picked it up from the local store, one of the tshirts i order should have been in xl size and they had sent me a tshirt in size xlt3 size. This was far too long. I contacted the online customer service who just dismissed the issue,
Told me i had received the item size correctly even though i provided pictures to them and disconnected the chat. This company makes it very difficult to deal with returns. They said i could pay postage to return at £4.99 when the item only cost £6. I certainly wont be buying anything from them again. How they can get away with this is dont know.

No common sense if a product or delivery is not right. Getti g any sensible discussion with the customer services is crazy.

Company policies and procedures mean staff act like robots.

Bought a product as system implied it was delivery only. Paid delivery to the store. Turns out the store has the product.

I could have bought instore and save delivery charges or extra delivery footprint. As goodwill theh should refund me the delivery charge.

Refund refused for items that arrived without tags

I returned two items to Sports Direct — a Mens Virda Lightweight T (Brick/Black, Large) and a Hummel Tr Poly T-shirt (Marine, Large) — that I had tried on briefly and which did not fit. My refund was refused on the grounds that the items were "used." When I requested photographic evidence, a description of the alleged defects, and managerial review, none was provided.

In a later email, the reason for refusal shifted: now Sports Direct also claimed the tags had been removed. The items arrived back to me from the warehouse with no tags — because there were no tags on them when they were dispatched to me in the first place. I did not remove any tags.

This raises the obvious question of whether the items had been previously returned by another customer and re-dispatched to me without inspection, then refused on the basis of a condition Sports Direct themselves caused.

Across five emails, customer service has provided no evidence, no managerial review, and shifting reasons for refusal. A formal chargeback has now been raised through my bank.

Disappointing handling of a straightforward return.

Bought my second pair of trainers and like the first pair they developed problems very soon after I bought them but they won't take them back. I also recently bought a pack of resistance bands and went back to return them (unused, pack unopened) but was given a credit note instead of a refund. Would have given zero stars if I could as one star isn't deserved in my experience

The last 2 online orders I purchased they haven't fulfilled fully. Brought to their staff,as I collected the parcel in-store,who confirmed that the parcel was not complete, missing 3/5 items. But because it was purchased online they couldn't rectify it. I was to go online. "Dave" in customer service told me they had sent it and they were doing nothing more about it. If they're stealing £20 off each customer they're making a nice profit on their discounted items. Awful company. Stay clear.

Once again we have been let down by Sports Direct.
THey charged me £10 for next day delivery, but the item didnt arrive for a few days afterwards.Customer service were useless and said i have to call them back after its been delivered to get the money back.I emailed the CEO he has not even bothered to respond. He should be terminated, as the service delivery stems from the top and if the top guy is shocking then the staff will just reflect that culture, wont ever shop there again.

Be very careful of what you buy, there was no fitting room available and when returned as item didn’t look right was told they have a non refund policy only a credit note which has an expiration date.

THEY REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SYSTEM AND CALLED US LIARS AND SAID THE WILL NOT GIVE US A FREE PERSONALISATION BECAUSE IT DIDN’T SHOW IN MY ORDER!! It’s FREE and they will not do it!! HOW CAN YOU BUY SOMEONE A PRESENT AND PROMISE TO PUT THEIR NAME ON IT AND THE SHOP REFUSES TO PERSONALISE FOR FREE FOR YOU!! It’s FREE!! Hundreds of pounds spent and the refused a FREE PERSONALISATION INCLUDED with the product!! IT DOESN’T SAY ON THE WEBSITE THAT IT MUST BE CLEARLY PHOTOGRAPHED AS YOU BUY SO YOU CAN PROVE TO SPORTS DIRECT THAT YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A FREE PERSONALISATION!!!

Sent me the wrong item called me a liar and refused to do anything about it. Ordered a pair of black nikes for £60 received a pair of purple Asics in a size 5! Will never ever shop there again.

I order football boots, received 2 right shoes. Had to return the product and reorder. They are refusing to reimburse both shipping fees.

Horrible service as usual..sigh
This time they sent me completely the different item which even colour doesn't much. Then had contact a week ago still no solve this issue.
THEY KEEP ASKING ME my details again & again & again, also photos as well.
Are they def / blind or something??

I purchased an item that was damaged I'm disabled and have been given the runaround these people do not listen so they can understand they just tick boxes and get paid I'm still waiting forva refund the process is making me ill! And they don't seem to care!

They dont even deserve a one star! They are rip offs. Cheap quality fabrics. Avoid ordering from them. Awful customer service

Bought a pair of trainers online. Delivery info sent. Had 3 messages updating delivery times by Evri on the day only to get an email to get in touch as they couldn't find the house...which is ridiculous.

Tried to get in touch with SportsD to resolve. Tracking number they issued doesn't work. Nightmare to get a hold of. Don't buy online from them

I ordered since 6 th December an overhead wardrobe until now it didnt arrive
They said estimated delivery 16 th December.
I already arrange the handyman but my parcel didnt arrive yet
I feel frustrated this company

Fast delivery !!!but its shocking you pay for delivery then pay to return your item if you need to also no returns label you have to go to a online portal and arrange it all yourself so £15 out of pocket for ordering sending back then ordering again for the correct size. Will be using in store in future only ordered online with it being christmas and not finding time to visit. dont mind paying delivery but a free return wouldn't go a miss.
