I signed up for spot insurance when i got my french bulldog puppy. He is 7 months now and i have submitted quite a few claims with no issues at all. They were completed within 3 to 5 days and i got the payment within a day of the completion. Also any questions i have i just call and they are all so friendly and helpful. Im very happy with this company.

Unfortunately the plan does not convert the currency of the claim. I paid in USD and received the reimbursement in CAD. Even it is the policy, I don’t think it is fair, this is why you don’t have 5 stars.

Very simple to be reimbursed. We have never had pet insurance with previous dogs, and it was so nice to be able to take her in without worrying about the cost.

Having pet insurance saved my dog
Having pet insurance saved my dog. When he was sick we did didn’t he hesitate to take him to the vet and get all the tests we needed. Spot covered the bills so we could get him the treatment he needed.

I submitted an ownership transfer…
I submitted an ownership transfer request in January and have had to call multiple times for updates. In early February, I received a text saying an agent would be assigned to follow up my case. Now, almost two months since I made the request, there’s still zero progress. Each time I call, I’m told about system changes and promised a follow-up the next week, but nothing happens. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I’m extremely disappointed.
