I must say Walid is a great guy. Booked the appointment in 2 days and also got the report in 2 days. Highly recommend to get the survey done quickly. Walid was kind to clarify questions after sharing the report.

I contacted Stabuild twice before instructing them, and on both occasions, received immediate, comprehensive responses to my inquiries.
Ryan came to visit soon after and conducted a full inspection, giving me comprehensive feedback on the day. This was very soon followed by a full written feedback answering all my questions and giving me a clear understanding of the best way forward.

Found Stabuild on ‘local surveyors…
Found Stabuild on ‘local surveyors direct’ website whilst trying to locate a structural engineer. The company had all the accreditations and had received many great recent reviews. I booked an appointment for examination of cracks seen on a potential house sale. They visited 2 days later and received their extensive report 3 working days later. The report was very thorough and I was able to clarify some questions I had following the report. Their advice was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend Stabuild to any one seeking structural engineer advice.

Structural survey
We asked Walid to perform a structural survey on a prospective purchase due to a unconventional approach to removing chimney breasts. He was reliable, efficient and timely with his report. He gave clear direction and rationale for this. When we asked further questions he was able to give comprehensive answers to all our questions. Overall we were very pleased and impressed by his work and would be happy to recommend him in the future.

Recommend for structural wall identification
Walid was fantastic from giving me a prompt quote for determining whether a wall is structural, answering my questions prior to doing a site visit to creating a structural report very promptly (within 5 working days).
I would definitely recommend Stabuild and Walid if you are need of any structural engineering work.
Price wise you can likely find cheaper but Stabuild's are definitely reasonable given quality of service.

I needed to have a report done for an…
I needed to have a report done for an internal wall to be removed. It's a non load bearing wall so it was quick. Walid came over on time, respectful, did the survey, took some pictures, and have issued me the report a week later.
Price was decent for a nonstructural wall report.
If I can give feedback, I think his website could use some more information. But I got his details from a recommendation so I trusted that anyway.

Structural report for lintel defect
We contacted Stabuild while in the middle of purchasing our first home following a recommendation in our Level 3 RICS survey. Walid promptly carried out an inspection and sent over a report containing his assessment of the structural defects in the rear facade and an estimated cost of the remediation works.
Several months down the line, after purchasing the home, we contacted Walid again and he was happy to carry out another inspection and perform the required calculations for replacing our lintels. A full report with calculations was sent over within a few days.
Overall, our experience with Stabuild has been a positive one. Walid (and his colleague Ryan) were very pleasant to deal with, the provided service was excellent and prices seemed reasonable too. Would highly recommend.

No value for money
The commitment was to prepaid an in-depth structural report, however the report covers a very basic structural assessment of the premises, supported by a few photos taken with a mobile phone. The evaluation provided was minimal, lacking in-depth analysis or detailed inspection. Despite the simplicity and limited scope of the report, the full price was charged, which does not seem justified given the level of detail and effort demonstrated. The cost appears disproportionate to the service delivered, raising concerns about the value received for the payment made.
