The council's Building Control asked for a number of follow-up calculations which do not seem to be normally required. Walid did a great job of getting these done, across several different asks from the council, so we could get approval from Building Control - really pleased with the customer service.

From the very beginning of the process, Walid Khan was very responsive to my calls and answered my questions. He was able to organise the assessment within a week and although it took a while for the report to be sent, he was able to reassure me and give me a verbal overview while I was waiting. I was surprised that there was not much detail in the report, though perhaps this is what to expect from a structural survey. I imagined more mathematical calculations, equations drawings and trigonometry!!! Despite being very busy, Walid spent some time with me on the phone, clarifying his findings and this put my mind at rest.

We needed an in-depth structural report on a property we were due to complete on within 10 days, after a crack was identified during the house survey that required urgent assessment. Walid responded quickly, providing a prompt quote and a clear timeline for when the review could be carried out. The survey was completed within three days, followed by a same-day phone call to explain the findings and advise on the next steps. Walid was professional, courteous, and instantly put our minds at ease.

The written report arrived within five days, which was incredibly fast and detailed, including full costings and a clear outline of the work needed to resolve the issues. We are extremely grateful to Walid and the Stabuild team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Walid was fantastic. He very kindly visited the property I'm purchasing twice in order to access a different flat in the building to confirm there were no problems in there which could cause wider structural issues for me. He also took the time to explain all his findings to me over the phone alongside his written report, and is clearly an expert in his field. I've recommended him to everyone I know who is in the process of buying a property.

I urgently needed a structural engineer to survey a property (due to stamp duty deadline looming) that my wife and I were looking to purchase after our initial RICS survey indicated there were potential causes for concern with interior cracks and the condition of the roof.

Walid was extremely professional, communitive and accommodating, fitting us in the next day (Thursday) and returning a detailed report with photos two working days later (Monday).
His report was thorough, informative and gave good advice on what needed to be done.
