We stayed at Stay City on Mary Street in Dublin. It was fantastic. The reception staff were kind and welcoming on arrival and provided help with securing a taxi for us to return to the airport. The hotel is modern and clean, great nights sleep and local to lots of food, shopping and tourist venues. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Stayed in the Dublin City Centre hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff who checked us in quickly and gave us lots of useful information. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment which was perfect for what we needed.Room was clean and very modern. We ordered two pizzas one night which were ready quickly and did not cost too much.
Cannot fault this hotel and will be staying again!

I tried to book accommodation the other night but the site was having issues processing payment. by the time it was working the following day the prices had inflated by about £60 and they were not willing to match the price the night before. Customer services were non existent as they basically said it is what it is.

I've opted to stay elsewhere.

I had an experience with Staycity in Paris. Honestly, I didn't expect that I would get a comfortable apartment in a convenient location for that price. Yes, the room is small like almost everywhere in Paris, so that it is ok. Hair dryer, coffee, tea, kettle, everything that I needed was in the room. Stayed at Staycity in Liverpool for a week. The location is excellent and the reception staff were genuinely friendly, which is a plus. However, the place has its issues.

The kitchen was poorly equipped and cleanliness was a concern—found dirty glasses and plates, some of which looked like they hadn't been washed from the last use. The bathroom showerhead had visible black fungus on it. Soundproofing was poor; weekend parties outside the building go on until 2-3 AM.

The bed was also quite uncomfortable, felt like it had been laid through. So, mixed feelings overall. Giving it 3/5 mainly because the personnel were nice and the location is great.

NOV 2019. Me and my girlfriend were woken up at 3/3:30AM to security stating that the fire alarm was going off and that we were smoking in the room. I told him no-one was smoking and me and my Mrs were in bed. The security guard then proceeds to force entry leading me to push him out and lock my door as my mrs was in bed and indecent. Now confused I went to reception to see why he had woken us up. An argument started and they told me i had to leave. Being from coventry it was quite a distance for us to have to travel and also costly. We had zero issues with security or any member of staff leading up to this and had infact had abit of banter with them when going for cigarettes every hour or so. I informed the guards that i wasnt willing to leave as id done nothing wrong and have paid for the night. We also had a booking to go to the sealife centre the following morning for the mrs's birthday and that also demonstrates that we hadnt come to the hotel to have a mad night out. So im telling the guards im not leaving for previously mentioned reasons and then two guards unlawfully tried to restrain me (me not realising I'm in a blind spot for the cameras) whilst I'm now trying to get them off me my mrs comes down and is hysterical asking what they're doing to me. At this point funnily enough they let go of me. But now she's trying to find out what the problem is and I'm also arguing with the security. They state to us we have 15 mins to leave. Understandably my girlfriend doesn't understand why and a security guard says to her 'you've been OK. He's been swearing. At this point I try to swipe myself in to go to my room. One of the security guards then tackles me and again tries to restrain me. On the body camera footage I had shows a guard laughing untill I put his colleague on the floor and admittedly hit him 2 or 3 times. I then let go while another guard was called over. I'm now trying to explain to this new guard that they were unlawfully restraining me. Anyway me and the girlfriend get back to the room and proceed to pack as we now don't even want to be here. Police turn up and come into the room. I ask them if the room smells of smoke and they say 'we cannot confirm or deny' to me meaning that no it doesn't as if it did they surely would have stated so. Anyway, I get arrested and am graced with a night at her majesty's pleasure. I get myself a solicitor who is brilliant. He gathers all of the body cam and cctv footage. The cctv footage showing them initially trying to restrain me had been edited with 45 secs missing. The two security guards were saying they were scared to go back to work and all of that good stuff. I'm only 5'6 so I'd love to know how as security they would deal with a 6ft/6ft2 bloke but anyway, they didn't even bother to show up to court and their own solicitor said as his clients hadn't bothered to turn up he was happy to dismiss the case and had said with seeing the evidence I probably would have won anyway and that it's shocking that if I hadn't turned up I would have a warrant for my arrest. Be careful at this place as they're dodgy.

Excellent experience! Can't fault the room, the hotel and the staff were exceptional! Damilola on reception was fantastic! So accommodating and a lovely person. 100% would return

We stayed at staycity Dublin.

Good things: use of the gym, nice comfy beds, really good air con, useful soap dispensers

Not so good: very few amenities eg hotel slippers, razors, bath and care items etc (which are useful when flying and you weren’t able to bring loads due to 100ml restrictions and no blades etc). The tv remote had a Netflix button but the tv itself did not facilitate Netflix. Noise of the nearby train line.

The room was dusty, the floors daily became dirty with dust (I think it is coming from the air con vent) and there is absolutely no room service or cleaning from the staff - we stayed 4 nights and not once did they clean the room. We also requested new towels, and they never made their way to our room. Had to buy a plug adapter for 20 euros, plus pay 11 euros for 'tourist tax' which is fine, but I wasn't aware of this until we arrived. Staff did a lot of standing around talking. One morning as we were leaving to go out, a family arrived to check in with all their luggage and the dad asked if someone could help him take the luggage to their room to which he got the response "we don't offer that service here" and then the 3 staff members standing around reception continued having a chat doing nothing work related. 1 dishwasher tablet given for our entire duration (the dishwasher was small) so we needed to wash dishes.

Breakfast was not great - greasy food, warm at best, expensive for what it is. Hotel would not accept cash, only wanted card payments. There was a dirty cat walking in and out of the hotel every day. Shower door wouldn't stay open and there wasn't much room in the bathroom as it was so made it awkward.

The pool was not open on time - we along with other people were waiting at least 20 mins after opening time for a member of staff to open the pool and remove the pump. Bird poop all around the pool flooring (outside) - clearly not being cleaned up and as a result of the hotel allowing the birds to nest in the window ledges of the hotel rooms (multiple nests across the back of the hotel overlooking the pool).

Yeah, for the price it was not great... bed sheets were not changed at all, we came back one time and found a dirty pillow placed on our bed... just one pillow?? and it was covered in dirt and stains, I have no idea why it was there. The sofa beds were dirty, and dusty, so our two kids didn't sleep on them and slept in our bed... I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. To note, we stayed at the Paris hotel close to Disneyland. Which was the only plus, was how close it was. One morning we took the free shuttle bus because the kids wanted to experience the ride... never again, it was over packed, the driver was miserable and drove fast.

Also to mention... on our second day, we were locked out of our room!! and told we were checking out... why?? so we had to get a new card etc. Then a staff member that couldn't speak English came to our room asking if we were checking out?? staff have no idea.

My niece just stayed here with a load of friends to go to Longitude. The staff here are the worst. They were going in the rooms. There were 10 rooms booked and when they got there (after paying) they were only given 8 rooms. Then the little guy was giving out that there were too many people in the room. The reception guy even went into one of the girls rooms and lifted up the covers while the girls were in bed looking to see if any more people were in the rooms. They were then told very early in the morning to leave even though they weren't making noise. I am disgusted that they took their money and treated them awfully. If you are going to Longitude do not stay here. They paid nearly 5k to stay here for the weekend for 10 rooms and only got 8 rooms then told no more than 3 to a room - what were the others to do? This is the worst and a refund should be given.

Very clean and tidy hotel, well furnished and enjoyed our stay. Dani was an excellent host.

Staff are very rude apart from one man who was working on reception of a night time doing night shifts i didn’t get his name but he was the only person who made you feel welcome and was not rude to us all of the other staff very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable, this was in Paris on the Disney resort

Sav was an amazing receptionist and made me feel welcome and catered for for the whole duration of my stay. He is a top top guy and really recommend the stay here along side the facility’s.
Asma was also great helping me with my breakfast and morning leave.

Have stayed in the Dublin Mark St hotel on a number of occasions for work. Really nice hotel in a great location. Would have been 5* but lack of parking onsite (a 5/10 min walk away)

We had a lovely stay in the StayCity Greenwich aparthotel. We have stayed here before and our 2nd visit was as good as our first. A lovely, clean room. We requested a quiet room and were given a room which was so quiet and we slept really well. Staff on the front desk so polite and cheerful and very helpful, so professional with an excellent knowledge of the local area. Housekeeping staff excellent and very efficient. We visit London regularly to see family and will be back. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We stayed in Staycity Marne La Vallee and what can I say only it was a great weekend we had a studio with plenty of beds a self catering kitchen

We’ve had a place in York booked for the best part of a year. The kids were desperate to see the train museum at Christmas. Stay City have cancelled with a couple weeks notice, no warning, no reason. Children are devastated. Looking to book late with a more reputable company but most places are gone. Would AVOID!
