I have been using step for over 2 years its literally so good i don't even have direct deposit set up and no fees setup the customer support was always nice and quick they did a good job on tht
I recommend you use this bank if you want a bank with no fees

I signed my daughter up for a credit card that she could use for a field trip for school. The card got denied. It said that in the right account that I signed up for. Tried to contact customer service and no one can help figure anything out. Called customer service instead of using the app and they hung up on me.

It’s good I’ve been using it for about a year, since 17 to be exact. I opted in last month on April the 16th which is my 18th birthday. It says I’ll be able to see my score June 12th. Is this information accurate?

Extremely good company I’ve had my fair share of fintech banks chime,oxygen,ugami etc but one hassle I do run into frequently is we have an account checking account but the card is a credit card will there be a debit card in future or what are the plans for that being when I put my account info in some services they require a debit card linked to a checking account

Unopened an account, then opened Step cards for my 10 and 13 year old daughters. My 13 year old daughter was gaslit by the banking app, that in order to get a debit card, she would need to have a step black subscription.
I deposited $20.00 into her account. This was February. Today, even after a whole fiasco if contacting Step, telling them there is *no profile button* at the bottom right of the app to unsubscribe from Step Black, and STEP SENDING ME $50.00 to rectify the situation ....
I opened my daughter's Step account to see, that ONCE AGAIN, they have taken the $4.99 monthly fee for something SHE IS NOT SUBSCRIBED TO.
I AM ABSOLUTELY DONE WITH THESE PREDATORS.

Great, I highly recommend it. The points earning system to be able to redeem cash value is excellent. The customer service is great. The metal card I ordered came sooner than expected.

These people are part of Evolve Bank 866.395.2754 who has a class action law suit against them for selling personal information. The second you try to withdraw a significant amount back to your own bank, Step will lock your card and demand selfies of you holding your license and weird things like that. DO NOT use these people. I am having a hard time getting my money back.
Update: notice that they lied in their reply and said i got my money back. They also said keep begging them by email. Its all right here. These people are BAD and they dont care. My lawyer friend is putting a suit together under the EFTA as we speak. They need a class action suit against them.
