It’s a scam they will take your money and refer you to an agency and they will also take your money without finding you a job. Don’t pay no money to them.

Fake. Took my money and then changed my website to promote and lur in more models l. They used my Photo as a success story saying that I was used on a energy boost campaign poster which isn't true. They took.my money following my photo shoot and signed me up to fusion management. I was contacted by lots.of agencies all taking my money and never had work or received work.or contacted by anone after taking the money.
Now iv seen that my website i paid for has been redirected to their website to promote there service rather than my modelling website which iv used the address in lots of places. They continue to use my photos and the email addresses I was using before to contact them.and update website etc now do not work. I will be exposing them on rip of Britain tv very soon!

It’s likely a professional scam. My previous review was removed by the request of Platinum models to Trustpilot because I named the companies house, registered director. This was not a breech of confidentiality, because her name is in public domain, on a public register.

So, I went along already a bit dubious as I’d read the reviews, but tried to keep an open mind.

The staff were friendly and nice, and the atmosphere was cool. There were a lot of people coming in and out, and from what I saw, most were ‘accepted’. I too was ‘accepted’. However, just as I’d thought, I was then asked to either pay £650 (they said it included three extra pictures and direction by a photographer), or £350 for all pictures, a mockup website that they own the domain to, and being represented by an agency.

At first, £350 sounded reasonable enough as I heard of people paying £700-£900 and it being a scam. However, my children model with an agency and so do my nieces, I know that you do not pay to sign to a reputable model agency.

Saying that, they are not actually an Modelling Agency. What they are actually ‘offering’ is photography, and they allege, an introduction to agencies.

My suspicion peeked when Jo (a man who speaks to you after your pictures and waiting sometime to review your pictures) took out the card reader before I had even signed anything. Then, with more probing, he mentioned that they scout for Fusion Management and it was set up my So Solid’s Romeo. Well, I messaged him on instagram and reached out to people I know to check, immediately.

Turns out that Platinum models Ltd is a dissolved company. The suite in East London is rented to them (you’ll find the person in the office behind reception) under the company name B-unique. B-unique is registered as a company that scouts (so that checked out), however, Platinum models was dissolved years ago.

I spoke to my accountant who found the name of the Director (check it out on companies house). Yes, she has a few companies under her name as being model scouts, but interestingly, Platinum models is not one of them. Strange if they are using the photography suite rented in her business name.

So why are they trading under a different name? Why are so many people saying it’s a scam? Why do they want payment immediately with no time to think it over or check it up? They also cannot guarantee you work either. So why not get some pictures done yourself and approach the agencies yourself?

I would say do your research before approaching them! I refused to take their packages making clear that it appears to be a scam. On my way out I made sure to let the other people waiting to be seen know that it’s a scam and to google the company on companies house because it’s dissolved (none moved an inch). Jo walked behind me telling them I don’t know what I’m talking about. Although he confirmed that the dissolved company (Platinum models) showing on companies house is them and told me that £350 isn’t that much and I shouldn’t care about anyone else in the waiting room who’s paying £350 (if it’s a scam).

He said this because I spoke of hearing of other scams. He then said it’s just £350 and not £2k like in the city (because I mentioned that although it’s £350 per person, added up with all the people paying just today, it’s a lot being taken in total, so it’s still profitable).

It’s too suspicious to me. Yes, £350 is low. The low amount with 50 pictures is enticing, especially as they quickly mock up a website view. However, it’s best to just say you’re paying for the pictures and a quick showreel. This is more honest and may even be attractive for some. However, to neglect to mention a fee and pressure anyone to pay immediately, is unscrupulous.

Well guess what, despite saying I know it’s a scam and walking out. The next day I get an email offering me my pictures for £100.00. Then, the last couple of days, I have had calls and emails from the three agencies they claim they work with. Remember, I didn’t pay a thing and walked out. No surprise in telling you that all three wanted to sign me up right away for a small fee of £150+ hmmmmm.

I call, scam! Seems like they wanted to get there money by any means necessary.

I would give zero stars if I could. This modeling agency is absolutely horrible. They lied to me from the very start. I was promised opportunities, professional guidance, and support to help me get started in the industry, but none of that ever materialized. Instead, they took my money and left me with no real prospects.After paying for their "services," I was given little to no communication or assistance. They never followed through on their promises, and when I reached out for help, I was ignored or given vague excuses.

It was a great experience, the staff are good and always smiling and you can feel comfortable.

Total scum . All the bad reviews are true ! All good are fake as there is nothing like it as is stated . Went there today, glad I’ve read the reviews before . All bad reviews is exactly what my experience was. I should call the police . But already have reported them . !!! AVOID THIS SCUMMERS!!!!

This test photoshoot for my child was absolutelyyyyy amazing. All the people that work there have such a nice bubbly personality and the photographer was very kind and patient the photos turned out amazing I couldn't believe it will definitely be recommending them. We had a wonderful day

I came to the studio yesterday with my son we had a great experience and the staff was lovely my son got accepted and also got an offer with a company I’m over the moon with yesterdays outcome I did pay for the portfolio yesterday and with the work they do on the side I do believe the pricing was fair we did wait a couple of hours for the decision but was well worth the wait ! Thank you guys you was great 😊
