Mark Hawtin based in Northamton was outstanding with our kids, from under confident learners to confident passed drives.

Two of my teenagers have now passed their tests with Mark. Both have unique learning styles with SEN needs. Mark took time and care to understand their personalities and taught them in a way that made sense to their brains.

Mark consistently delivered clear and confident teaching in all aspects of driving and road safety. My kids came home happy and energised, never knocked or deflated. Mark built them up and shaped them into confident road users.

Good teachers are a gift, we have an enormous level of gratitude to Mark and feel blessed in finding such a brilliant instructor.

I booked my lessons with Su. I really struggled to retain information and dont tend to learn the typical way, whether through nerves or my disability making me exhausted. Su was more than patient, continually adjusting to my learning capabilities and never ran out of ways to either show me how to do a manoeuvre or understand the rules of the road. Su went above and beyond and I passed my test because of her abilities as a instructor,perseverance and believing in me even when I didnt. I would highly reccomend Su and do to anyone requiring a great instructor!

i had my driving lessons with Scott Waring and was brilliant. He explains things really well and after every lesson i always felt like i had learnt something new and like i had achieved everything possible throughout every lesson. i would highly recommend him to any new learners and i do not have a bad word to say about him

Today was the day of my test and my instructor Mr Mark Hawtin you took the time to make sure I was ready for anything you gave me the confidence I needed to pass and I will forever be grateful thank you again SurePass driving school!! I will always recommend you!!

I started driving lessons with an instructor called Aaron in 2023 from Surepass Driving School.
Every week we did the same things so when it came to my tests I wasn't prepared for it and failed my tests.
His car was broken all the time and had no power so going uphills you really had to put your foot down, you were lucky if it was doing 30 mph.
My last test I did was in a car that I wasn't use to. It was the 1st time that I had driven that car. It had no power and the the reverse gear was different to the other cars that I had driven beforehand.
I phoned Surepass and they said to take it up with Aaron but I can't get hold of him and it was them that employed him.
I wouldn't touch Surepass with a barge pole and I'm thinking of sueing them as the money I spent was from my beloved dad who died in October 2020.
The other thing about Aaron was he used to shout if you did anything wrong, also he would leave me to drive on the Mold to Denbigh road while falling asleep.

incredible journey with Dan Wood, been incredible, wouldn’t of passed without his help and tips, wouldn’t of wanted anyone else teaching me. highly recommend

Honestly Trish was soo supportive, I had previously had a difficult experience with another driving instructor which made me uneasy driving but Trish really helped me to grow confidence in driving. I can’t thank her enough, she taught me more in a few months that I had learnt in a year with my other instructor. I passed first time and I’m soo grateful!!

I had the luck and privilege of having Lee Morris as my driving instructor for a driving test in St. Helens. As tests are hard to come by, I was forced to come to St. Helens for the driving exam, and Lee was super accommodating in preparing me for it in just 2 weeks. Success was the result! A very heartfelt thank you to Lee!

I had a absolute amazing experience with my surepass driving instructor Neil kilshaw, going from a shacking mess with no clue how to even start a car to a confident driver in a matter of months, Neil was so kind and patient with me from start to finish and I would highly recommend him to anyone, thank you for everything!

I booked the 30hr course and had victoria who i could recommend to anyone, really informative and helpful. She was dead calm when i would stall the car or struggle and help me calm down and feel confident on the road. The course was also really good value for money. Nice one Victoria for the help👍

I had my driving lessons with Dan wood in Chorley and found his lessons to be really enjoyable and useful. Dan created a really relaxed but informative environment for me to learn. I can’t give Dan any criticisms he was really flexible with arranging lessons and got me test ready within 14 hours of lessons and I pass first time.

My driving instructor was Neil based in st Helen’s. Couldn’t fault him what so ever. Passed with 16 hours of lessons. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

My instructor was Scott and he really helped me. He was very patient with me and helped me really understand.

My driving instructor was Claire and she was amazing. She was incredibly patient and encouraging, helping me build my confidence in driving. Claire made learning to drive a great experience. I would highly recommend learning to drive with Claire

Would like to say a massive thank you to Dan wood on the way you have presented your self and stuck to everything he had said would happen from pick up to passing to back home again I’ve enjoyed being able to talk about my worries in driving without feeling like a failure so thanks again to Dan wood and his team I would highly recommend sure pass for anybody who is willing to learn

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I learnt with su! From day one, she was so patient, calm, and encouraging — exactly what I needed to build my confidence behind the wheel. Not only did she help me pass my test, but she also became a real friend along the way. Every lesson felt relaxed but focused, and she always believed in me, even when I doubted myself.

If you’re nervous about learning to drive or just want someone who truly cares, I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you so much for everything — I’ll genuinely miss our lessons!

My instructor su hampton was a great instructor. Always on time to pick me up for my lessons, always helpful whenever i needed help with anything. Would highly recommend her if you need to have a instructor you wont go wrong. Never thought i would be on the road but thanks to su i am.
