My project manager, Anna Morrisoe has been marvellous throughout the whole process. Providing detailed information on the works involved and the different contractors- insulation,heating and solar panels.
I was given a schedule of works which went like clockwork.
She also was quick to answer my many questions and solve the occasional problems we had.
The contractors completed the works on time and took care not to damage the house and furniture. They also left everything neat and tidy after they had finished.
Yes, the work can be disruptive, especially when it affects the whole house but is is worth it if you have an old house which is hard to keep warm. I would definitely recommend doing it and using Switch Energy to do it.

All the work was done quickly and effectively and had a couple of issues but was rectified just as quick with no problems at all overall very impressed with the amount of work carried out in the short time frame making it easy to get the house back to normal use thanks again to anna

I am so pleased with my Retrofit. I was consulted before, during and after each stage of the Fit. My questions - and yes, I did have some anxieties - were always listened to and resolved to my satisfaction. My Project Manager - Tom - was excellent. He was always on top of the schedule, responsive, and just a phone call away. And the results of the Retrofit? Amazing! I could feel the difference in the room temperature as a result of the wall insulation, immediately. Previously, I'd had to wait for up to 10 minutes before hot water flowed through the taps, now it comes through within 2 minutes. And the increase in the water pressure has been a bonus too. It's too early to report back on the benefits of the solar panels and the heat pump, but on the basis of the results of the Fit so far, I can't wait to feel the difference in the warmth of the house this winter!

My Project Manager Thomas Rands has been very attentive, always available for questions and queries. The companies who were involved with the installation of my heat pump and solar panels were absolutely great. Reliable, professional, I couldn’t fault any of them, including the scaffolding guys. If you’re converting to eco friendly energy, I would recommend them unreservedly. Kudos to all four companies, Diamond Boilers, DES Scaffolding, J&W Services, Matty the Sparks and the company who fitted my solar panels whose name escapes me! Switch Energy made the whole experience as good as it could possibly have been. Kudos to all!

Rude and abusive..no respect for gdpr or home pictures

We have had such a positive experience with Switch Energy .. from initial survey and consultation to install the whole process has been effortless . The engineers contracted by Switch have been efficient, polite and very professionals.
Communication with switch has been swift and informative , we had the pleasure of dealing mainly with Ava who has gone above and beyond to assist us with any enquires we had. Highly recommend Switch Energy - amazing.

Spoke to staff on the phone. I was polite and apologetic, explaining that I was very sorry but since applying my circumstances had changed we were no longer interested at this current time. The member of staff(mark or Martin I think) was very rude and unprofessional on the phone. Very aggressive tone as he said “DONT BOTHER APPLYING THEN!” and hung up.
When we are ready to get a new boiler, we will be using a different company as I would not be comfortable with using such an unprofessional company.

I cannot fault the works from start to finish from Switch energy. I was very wary of allowing another Eco 4 scheme entering my home because in my last property I had a grant and it was such an awful experience. This time things were perfect! The survey was thorough, I had a guy called Ryan come and he went through every room where I would like the radiators. I felt so reassured and the phone calls were also reassuring. Very professional and explaining everything. The day of the works. The team installed a whole new central heating system. The boiler and the radiators 14 in total were fitted in 1 day!!!! No mess and the guys were brilliant. Lewis, Callum and another guy came. Such hard workers. Low maintenance, didn't even want to stop for tea breaks. They were so knowledgeable and efficient. They did not stop. Friendly, happy and so thorough. They avoided cutting my carpets, I told them that would have been fine as I needed to decorate anyway, but they carefully pulled back the carpet to go under the floorboards and put the back neatly. The pipes were hidden as much as possible downstairs and I cannot tell you how lovely and hot the house is now. I am so grateful for this scheme and the system I have been given. Workmen like that are hard to find. I couldn't be happier and would reassure anyone on the scheme to not feel worried as you will be in safe hands. Thank you to everyone at TAGGAS. 10 out of 10. If I could rate higher I would. Don't mess about with any other Eco 4 scheme. Choose once for a no nonsense installation. Congratulations Switch Energy on having such a brilliant workforce. In terms of office staff, surveyor and TAGGAS installation team.

From applying to completion, the process was so quick and easy. We had internal wall insulation, solar panels and an electric heat pump system fitted.
Tamarah at Switch is very helpful and efficient, the best project manager. She kept in regular contact making sure everything was happening as and when it should.
Our insulation installers were NH Ltd, these guys were so helpful and fast! Nothing was a problem for them
Taggas installed the heating system, again nothing was too much trouble. We had a couple of issues as to where all the new equipment was going. This was solved by them with such professionalism.
SJ installed our solar panels which are working perfectly, looking forward to seeing savings on the electric bill!
DES Scaffolding were fabulous too
We had no issues whatsoever with any of the contractors who were all hard working and professional. Any mess and rubbish generated was cleared away with nothing left for us to deal with which was fantastic

Well what can I say about my whole experience with switch energy 10/10 and the reason is very simple.

First point of contact was the project manager Tamarah who phone me almost everyday keeping me informed as to what and when things was happening and was so genuine which gave me the peace of mind I needed.

Then came the 3 installers for room in the roof insulation who never once moaned having to move all the furniture around and even in the eaves cleaned up any mess they made superb again 10/10

Then the next two wonderful guys Ross and Kyle came to fit the radiators and hot water cylinder plus the heat sauce pump again not one single moan just so hard working checked everyday we was happy where all the radiators and pipe work was going and cleaned up all there mess we still miss the laugh we had with Ross and Kyle so lovely to have trade people in your house you felt so comfortable to leave them to it !!!!! 10/10

The solar panels was fitted in half a day again no mess just got in with the job 10/10

The electrician came to wire everything up and was so helpful in showing and explaining to us how things work … Grant you was a lovely young polite man thank you for all your advise !!! 10/10

The scaffolding team come to erect and take down the scaffolding with no issues what so ever again check with us about where it’s going to be erected 10/10
And if I miss any body out I’m sorry just so happy with the wonderful job switch energy have done to our bungalow

Once again a massive thank you for Tamarah project manager for making the work go like clockwork ….

I have given this company a 5 star review despite my initial reservations as a tenant and not the owner of the property.

I did initially feel the push by Switch Energy for early install dates and an all or nothing approach of getting the property to the correct energy banding level was perhaps too much for an 83 year old gentleman to deal with.

My hard of hearing issue meant I expressly asked that all communication should be via email or text, and Project Manager Tamarah Varley and her team were as good as their word in ensuring communications were carried out this way.

I was so impressed with the 3 man Internal Insulation team (3 Romanian gents) who worked like you wouldn’t believe in making my home super insulated to such a high degree of quality in super fast time. well done fellows.

The heating installers who sorted the air source heat pump, a new hot water tank in the loft, miles of new copper piping and half a dozen lovely new radiators , including 2 vertical beasts for the living room "Diamond Boilers, Trading as Lubaroc" did me proud , their team leader Barry Watson lead a 3 man team what seemed to me like a complex solution to simply work as intended.

Now much better hot water supply and central heating for the first time ever. thank you for all your efforts and going above and beyond.

Finally the Solar panels Installation and the solar installers who sorted this for me “SJ” was a mighty impressive 2 hour job on the roof , and the scaffolding was put up and taken down in quick measure by a separate team.

All in all a good experience , with a lot of household upheaval but worth it in the end.

Would I recommend them ? Yes but as they use different subcontractors that may not be the same as mine, I can only talk about my experience.

Finally a quick word for Tamarah Varley, who was most professional in her communications and keeping me updated . Thank you.

The work was all done to a high standard. The whole process from start to finish was very quick, it took about 6 weeks. Communication was excellent. I had an allocated project manager, Thomas Rands, who kept me informed and answered all my questions. There were different companies doing the various parts of the work and it was very useful to have a project manager coordinate everything.

The whole process was a delight and stress free thanks to Beatrice Clapham. So efficient and professional. She made regular contact to make sure that everything was in order and happening as it should.

The trade companies (Newholme, Taggas and SJ) were very impressive. Great people, no fuss, timely, hard working and impressive. I’m so grateful to all of them.

If the country was run like this, there would be no problems!

The workers worked extremely hard and got the job done in a short period of time, they kept the place clean and well maintained. A great job and would definitely recommend them to anyone

Our installation was exceptionally well organised, it was all completed quickly and without issue. We were communicated with every step of the way. The finish of the works exceeded our expectations.

I recently had a heat pump and insulation installed in my house. The office communication was good. I was regularly informed about what works were starting and when they would be completed.
The insulation company Newhome's workers were very efficient, polite and respectful . They helped me to move heavy furniture and cleaned up after the job. The plaster finish is amazing.
The heat pump was installed by Diamond Boilers and again the workers were very efficient . They explained exactly what pipework and radiators were to be changed and kept disruption to a minimum. I would recommend them.

I would like to recommend the Switch Energy Network to anyone considering having this work done.

The contractors who carried out the works were each experts in their respective fields.
From the insulation, by NH Ltd, to the air pump installation, by Taggass, to the solar panelling, by SJ, all the works were completed quickly and efficiently, with a minimum of disruption, to a very high standard.
The quality of the work was excellent without exception.

The project was managed by Tamarah Varley, who couldn’t have been more organised, or more helpful.
I was kept informed, from start to finish, of all details and developments concerning the progress of the works.
I am confident that if there had been any problem, it would have been sorted out immediately.

To reiterate, I am happy to recommend the Switch Energy Network to anyone looking to significantly upgrade their property.
