Water Services
Unicom have overcharged me £1000s of pounds over a two year period, invoicing me for both volumetric (domestic) sewerage in addition to trade effluent charges.
I’ve queried twice but they have assured me that this correct & they want me to provide them with evidence to the contrary?! Surely if you are supplying water to business premises you should have an understanding of how trade effluent works.

INCORRECT INVOICING
Absolutely terrible to deal with. They send Invoices with one amount and then take a different amount.
For example they Invoiced £211.44 on 11th September and then took £271.44. They then produced an Invoice for the higher amount despite the fact that i already had an Invoice for the lower amount.
The same thing has happened this month

Disappointing service from Unicom
Unicom Offered us fibre broadband as an upgrade , sent us the equipment arranged to ring us for install nobody rang us as arranged . Managed to get system working with numerous phone calls to Unicom . system has been working intermittently since the so called up grade . Caller ID not working and now we cant receive incoming calls ! We bought a new phone but made no difference still no caller ID or calls coming in ! This is now costing our business money and we are losing customers . We have had to divert calls to a mobile to try and help this very sorry situation . We were told yesterday after a dozen phone calls to Unicom which we kept getting cut off from them. We eventually got through AT 4.30PM and were told the system would be fixed by today . It is now today and we are no further on with the system we are bitterly disappointed in the service we have received from Unicom in fixing our problem . We totally regret upgrading to this system from the old system which worked far better. Unicom seem more interested in selling us other other services such as water and card machines instead of getting the problems sorted out for us .

Appalling service
Appalling service. Our business phone line fails every time it rains. Unicom's reaction was "if its only when it rains, there's nothing we can do"!! I asked them to call me (it had stopped raining) and he agreed the line had a fault. Yet again we will have no phone for days, seriously impacting our business, but in addition to charging for a service they are not providing, every time this happens they want to charge us extra to divert calls to a mobile.

I've been a customer for over ten years…
I've been a customer for over ten years and the service has gone from bad to worse. I've attempted to call in and report a fault three times this morning, on each occasion I've been on hold for 20 minutes and then cut off. Now my business cannot receive calls or setup a divert. Thanks Unicom

Worse than appalling
DO NOT USE UNICOM!!! The worst customer service. I have had a Unicom account for 20 years. I tried to move from business to personal account. No one ever helped, called, set up the account. I spent hours and hours on the phone and then was told 2 months later I can't have a personal account. I've gone to BT. They give a damn about their customers.

They just get worse.
My previous review. i was with Unicom from Sept 22 to December 2022. received many threatening emails and only one bill. Spoke to really nice lady who agreed the final bill and a payment plan.
In September 2023 (final payment August 2023) they took a further amount from our bank. They said I owed them more money, never sent me a bill or communication.
I explained that they never had permission to take the money from my bank. it was only agreed for the payment plan. I was told " you owed the money we took it".
there are a few really good employee's at this company, they listen and try to help. The rest of them should be given a dictionary so they can look up the meaning of "Customer Service", without us they wouldn't have a job.
