I own a shelf and somehow my cards got deprogrammed. No idea how it happened but I cannot open my shelf at all. I was made to PURCHASE a master card that can be used 1-2 times and then it is no good. It is the size of a credit card, cost me $10 and $5 for shipping. I ordered it 2 weeks ago and still don't have it. It could have been put in an envelope for .50 and been here already via USPS. Also, your technology caused my issue and I had to pay additional to be able to open this shelf. Very disappointed with Tactical Traps for this entire situation and how it has been dealt with.

My shelf was shipped with a broken latch. When I reported the issue and asked for a replacement latch I was informed that I needed to follow certain steps before any replacement would be considered. I decided to just buy outright a new replacement and incur additional costs for this product because I have money invested already and it is over a week in waiting and still no replacement latch has been received. I am rather disappointed and will only buy when I can see the product in person. Forget using online services.

Ordered compact model shelf unit on 12/13/2024. Was told AFTER the order that it would not ship to arrive before Christmas. After numerous emails (no one answers the 24/7 customer service phone number) I received email stating it would ship about 1/8. On 1/17, finally received info that it would ship 1/20. On 1/20, received info that unit would ship, Tues., 1/21 with tracking number. Finally received the full-size model on 1/23. I went ahead and mounted, then found that locking pin was broken. On 1/27, they stated, shipped new locking pin via USPS. As of 2/3, USPS has not received the package.

The shelf looks fine but I am more than disappointed to see that they don't keep their Android app up to date. I paid extra for this option only to find out, when my shelf was delivered and I looked up the app, that it doesn't support the current Android OS... Which has been out for 5 months. It's possible it doesn't even support the prior version. Will not be buying again from this company and I recommend you don't either if you are interested in using their app to open your new, EXPENSIVE shelf that isn't fully functional.

I think they are great people. I did have a small problem. With no problems or hassles from them at all, they more then made it right. I feel as tho it's a good built product and they did email within 24 hours.

I purchased the family name and wall shelf a couple of years ago and due to personal circumstances just got around to putting them up. Both products are extremely well made and work as advertised. Even after sitting around for a couple of years. Will definitely order more products in the future.

I purchased my first compact shelf last year and I absolutely love it. Since then, I’ve purchased two more. One for the bedroom and another for the bathroom.
I’m working on bathroom shelf now as I ordered it unfinished. I was undecided at the time on color. Stained or painted. I’ll be ready to installed it tomorrow. Already have my magazines picked.
Now I don’t have to worry about safety while I’m in my bathroom.
The customer satisfaction I received is first class. Answered all my questions quickly and professionally.

I got a Tactical Trap shelf for a present but didn't install it right away. When I tried to install, I found the batteries dead and thus needed the alternative battery pack which, unfortunately, was pack inside the shelf (what a great place, huh?). I tried applying 6VDC to the plug, and when that didn't work, I broke in---very easy to do with a screwdriver. A three-year-old could do it. Don't use this product to secure your gun. It won't keep your kids safe and it won't keep your gun safe either.

I just bought two more and great service as I had previously purchased one 2 years ago and placed it in storage. The batteries died and I couldn’t open it..
They helped me out with that issue.

I have 2 Tactical Traps and I love them. They were easy to put together and working.
I had a problem with one that the batteries completely died and couldn't get to open. They responded right away with solution and was able to open and replace batteries. I would order again when I need something but I have recommended this company to all my family and friends.

I ordered a 35s compact and a Freedom 52R. The quality of both units are excellent. Both were packed very well to be shipped through the mail. With that said, the 52R arrived damaged. I contacted Donna at Tactical Traps and she provided over the top customer service. After providing a couple of pictures reflecting the damage, I have a new 52R being mailed to me. This company stands behind their product, provides great customer service and the product is well made.

I unfortunately let my batteries fully die in my safe and was unable to gain access. I reached out to customer service for help and was blown away with their responsiveness and assistance. They provided step by step instructions along with links to videos to help troubleshoot my issue. After a few emails back and forth my problem is resolved. Very impressed with Tactical Traps customer service. I’ve had my wall safe for a few years and it works great, I learned my lesson to pay attention to the battery warnings. Very satisfied!!

Purchased a TT shelf a couple years ago. Over the years I failed not only to replace the batteries but misplaced the battery backup unit. Needless to say the customer service folks were able to quickly assist me in gaining entry without damage. All is working perfectly again. I will now replace the batteries yearly the same time as I do my smoke alarms.

I ordered the shelf for my husband and son-in-law for Christmas. They are both thrilled with them. They look very nice and custom when placed on the wall. Clever way to conceal your weapon.

Made a mistake on my behalf customer service was very helpful and resolved the issue in a timely manner great overall experience just waiting to receive my product hopefully it’s as good as there customer service

I ordered the 35s concealment shelf and had to delay installing due to some home remodeling that was going on. However, I tried the mechanism and was initially impressed. After storing the unit, it was finally time to install, however now the locking mechanism would not work. I followed every instruction and contacted customer service. WHe nI was asked to upload a video to show what was going on, I uploaded three to ensure the situation was clear. I received a canned response that they had received my request and would hear back in 1-2 days. It has now been over a week and I have heard nothing. Here I sit with a non-functioning unit that is worthless. Very thankful that I hadn't placed any of my weapons in it yet! Horrible customer service, so beware!

Would have given 4 stars but 2nd order was never delivered. I first order we did the unstained as we wanted to match the wood in our house. It came within 3 weeks I believe and seemed to be a fairly good quality. We then ordered one for our son for Christmas. A stained one to match the stain colors in his house, they immediately charged our card upon ordering and then we never received it or any other information on when it would ship. We contacted them numerous times and only got automated emails back then we started calling their number and never got an answer or they were always closed. After all the emails and calls with no response, we finally disputed it with our credit card company and still have heard nothing .I feel for the money. They were a decent shelf but they absolutely do not stand behind. Get delivering their product.

Received unit in great shape. Installed per instructions. Had a closing issue, but Bree in Customer Service talked us through a small fix, and sent videos. We were able to correct the issue. I would highly recommend this company and the high quality product! Thank you!

No Customer Service. Can't talk with a live person as a recording says "no one available today, please send email".
Ordered a Patriot 35S Compact on December 6th and received it on December 28th 2024. No sign of damage with the shipping container. Opened the box and removed the product finding the shelf very loose. Opened the unit with the keycard after many tries and found one of the latches holding the door together by a few threads of one screw. The second screw head was broken off. Also missing was the Compact Damper which they sent 10 days later. i have been sending email requests for a return authorization even after responding to their 1 request for pictures, my address and order#. All I want is a return authorization and refund to my purchase account. BTW I had purchased a second one before I received the first one and it was delivered complete and working properly! UNACCEPTABLE Customer Service and would NOT recommend this company. Looking for closure of this issue.
Will revamp this review if i get satisfactory results.
