I signed up for Tailwind’s annual plan a year ago and was shocked to discover that I’d just been charged $599.88 without any prior notice { that is today April 4Th, 2025 }. There was absolutely no indication during signup that the plan would auto-renew, nor did I receive the standard 30-day warning before the money was withdrawn from my account.

I have thoroughly checked my email (including spam and promo folders) and found no reminder or warning of the upcoming renewal—not even a single notification and this is super frustrating and seems like intentional so that they keep charging people who are not even using the software.

When I tried to request a refund, I was met with a frustrating AI chatbot loop that offered no real help. Even after explaining I never received any reminder email, they simply stated refunds aren’t possible. To make matters worse, canceling the subscription is made unnecessarily difficult and the only way to do this is to downgrade { I have never seen this before , you have to choose " down grade, the go with the " free plan " as the way of downgrading }

I have not even gotten an email from them about the charge - if not for my bank sending me the SMS notification i would have not known about the charge

This is beyond disappointing—it’s a total scam. I haven’t even used the platform in over 6 months, yet they had no problem charging me for another full year without any form of communication.

Tailwind has lost my trust. Beware of this platform. I’m sharing this in hopes that others don’t fall into the same trap.

They stay on top of changes at other websites to make sure my postings are seamless and attractive. I have been with Tailwind for about 5 years and have no need to change. I am very pleased that everything I need is in one place.

I have been using Tailwind for years to schedule my pins from my recipe site and it has helped to make Pinterest my #1 traffic source for the past 7 years. I have managed to survive all google updates because of the traffic I receive from Pinterest, from the pins that I scheduled from Tailwind. My favourite features of Tailwind are bulk scheduling and communities.

Easy to publish, easy to design and create!

I've been using Tailwind for two years, and it's been a game-changer for managing my social media. The scheduling tools are seamless, and I love how easy it is to plan and visualize content. The analytics help me stay on track, and the community engagement features really stand out. My only small gripe is that sometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered, but overall, Tailwind makes social media marketing so much easier and more effective!

Although I'm new to Tailwind, it's quickly become my go-to application for social media marketing. I've tried other products. This one just felt right for me. It's got a lot of interesting features and at first may seem to be a bit overwhelming. It seems that just tackling one small piece of the puzzle at a time has been a great way to stay consistent. Of course, the calendar is amazing.

The simplicity to use Tailwind and the ability to schedule and work as planned so I don't have to do it manually.

Do not subscribe to this company, as the platform is buggy, poorly designed, and cumbersome to use. It constantly needs to be reconnected with other platforms. The user experience is poor and difficult to use, and their support is atrociously bad. There are so many better platforms. What's even worse is that when you cancel your account, they continue to charge you.

I've used Tailwind on and off over the years with various online businesses and can't say enough good things about the product and the company. They really listen to customer feedback and continuously work to improve their product offering to help their clients succeed!

Oh my gosh, I couldn't imagine doing Pinterest without Tailwind! The ease of managing multiple Pinterest accounts and being able to schedule out over a long period of time are my two favorite features!

INITIAL REVIEW:
I used tailwind app for a couple of months last year. I had paid for an annual membership which costs $300. I actually remember cancelling the recurring membership right after signing up since it was really expensive and didn’t want to risk to be charged again by mistake. After a few months of simply not liking their service I stopped using it altogether. I have not used their platform since 2023. I haven’t even logged into my account in almost a year, there was literally no activity whatsoever on my account and I am sure they can see that from their side. Well I went to check my CC statement last week and they charged me $300. Went to log in and the email on file was an email I also haven’t used in almost a year, so apparently they sent a reminder 30 days before charging, but I clearly haven’t seen it. On top of that the card on file was my old expired credit card and they charged it anyways, even though in the account it says payment method is expired. Now, every serious company would understand that if I haven’t accessed my account in a year and the CC on file was expired it is probably because I did not desire to renew, and every serious company would evaluate that and offer a refund. Not them! They just don’t offer refunds, apparently, no matter what. I wonder how much money they steal from people acting like this. I understand not giving a refund if someone has used their account after renewal, but with no activity before and after that, this can only be considered a SCAM. So avoid at all cost! They will just keep charging you even if you cancel (looking at the reviews I’m not the only one this happened to) and then hide behind “we just don’t offer refunds, sorry”. Disgusting business practices.

UPDATE: After I left the review they reached out and offered a refund, which I appreciated. I still think this shouldn’t have needed a negative review in order to be squared, but at least I got my money back.

Leider habe ich bisher nur schlechte Erfahrung mit Tailwindapp. Der support hilft kaum weiter. Der Seitenaufbau läuft extrem langsam. ( trotz neuster PcTechnik und Glasfaser) Die Ausspielung der Pins, erfolgt oftmals nicht. Während identische direkt bei Pinterest funktionieren. Mein Fazit schade um das Geld für dieses Programm, schade um die unnötig verschwendete zeit. Versuche das Programm seit 4 Monaten zu verwenden. Durch Tailwindapp Pinterest aufrufe von 40´ monatlich auf 2,5´ monatich abgestürzt.

Very easy to use and navigate good for promotions

My experience with Tailwind has been terrible. They automatically charged my account, without clear notification or consent. Even worse, when I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a refund, hiding behind their no-refund policy. I didn’t even have the chance to use the service before being charged. This is nothing short of predatory and unethical. I wouldn’t recommend Tailwind to anyone who values transparency and fair treatment in a subscription service.

Beyond disappointed. You can’t fully use this product without subscribing so I did. Within 2 days I realized it’s glitchy and its posts are poor versions of Canva. I already have a Canva account and that’s $10 less a month. Canva also will post for you on auto. I requested a refund. They told me I can’t get a refund and I can still use this till I cancel. Why would I still want to use this when it doesn’t work correct for me. 27 more days of useless subscription.
