The IRS virtually destroyed my ability to get back on my feet after a very difficult divorce. During the time of the divorce they decided to audit us and we were caught off-guard and a lost trail of paper-work due to unforeseen floods. Even though it was in the divorce decree that my x-spouse would deal with them, the IRS told me to fill out an innocent spousal form that would protect me. When I did that, here is what they did: doubled - actually tripled the amount they said we owed them, split it in two and put half just in my name to the point where when my x-spouse tried to take care of that they said only I was responsible for the wrongful debt of 20,000 - and I never even worked during the 2 years they said I owed. Tax Tiger stopped them from swiping my savings account money, which they did do one time prior to having a lawyer and swiped all the money from my checking account too. We did settle with them. The nightmare is finally over, but I will never understand how a government that I pay taxes to found a 'legal' way to literally ravage a very poor woman trying to work full-time and take care of three children. I will never understand, but at least with Tax Tiger I was able to cease them from continuing to take everything from me and my children.

my life was a mess they knew what to send to the irs what not to send and the right time. owed 30k due to my taking money from my 401k early after my stroke and couldn't work ended up paying the irs 185 dollars.

The company pulled me out of the depths of despair. I didn't know how I was going to resolve my tax problems; but working with Tax Tiger most of the problems were resolved. I still have a major problem with the state of California which has been dunning me for over 21 years. Since I don't have the tax documentation it is impossible to resolve. They remove money from my bank accounts almost every other month. I had a do over I believe that with the documentation I do have I could prove that I was grossly overcharged; since more than $72k that should have been booked as a "settlement" was booked as earned income. It is not feasible to reopen this because it is under the $10k that is usually the bench mark.Never-the-less I still paid over $37k for that tax year.
