Paid my car off. New York State law requires lien release mailed within three days of receipt of payment. TD customer service told me they had ten working days to get in the mail. Of course the car is sold and I'm waiting for the release . They have one phone number and no email. They are invisible to the world obviously by design. How nice they can pick and choose the laws they obey. Awful company.

I called to give them my new bank info since I switched banks and they didn't transfer my auto pay from my old bank to my new bank. I was late 3 months because it wasn't auto withdrawn and now I have this on my credit report. They didn't even call or email to tell me my payment was late, I only found out because I received a notice from the credit bureau. Then I was told I need to call the credit bureau myself to fix the mistake and of course the credit bureau doesn't care all they know is I missed my payments that TD Auto reported. I also had called to have them change my address and they also didn't change that either.

If only I had read these reviews before buying my 2024 vehicle. I totally agree with everyone giving a poor review for this financial institution. If I could give zero stars or negative I would. They were the company my dealer (One of the USA’s big three) on top of it. I will be reviewing them next. This company is next to impossible to communicate with, it’s their terms only.

Submitted payoff to them online and it was kicked back because my bank account # was incorrect so they said. No they had the account correct but left off the last number, character. They did it because their own website would not accept the info until ALL characters were entered meaning the correct amount.

The customer service rep was secretive, couldn’t give their name, my payoff or who the supervisor was. No email address was given. Run away from this company!

Terrible company. After you pay off entire balance, they still keep illegally lean on your tittle and you will not be able to sell your car.

We've dealt with them for 6 years, and their Customer Service Department has always made a specialty of being just as argumentative, obstructive, and unhelpful as humanly possible..all they want is to get you off the phone or email without doing anything. They look for any excuse to refuse to put you in contact with the correct dept or a supervisor. I should have refinanced to someone more reputable within the first 6 months of buying.

I called them because I’m having a little issue this month a push the deferred payment option and salon hold over an hour with no one picking up so I called back and hit the general information with my account which is current and they picked it up on one ring I’ve been there paying on this car three years never asked for any help And I sat there for an hour they give you an option but they don’t stand by that option. I was told by the lady that that’s a different department and they may be busy. This is ridiculous. This is horrible to do that to people. then the person I got a hold of on the other option stated that it’s a different department and they have limited hours on Saturday and they’re probably busy and they could probably be close because they close at five Eastern time so I guess they just expect me to sit on hold even after they closed apparently worst customer service ever!
