Repair was done and fixed and sent back to me in good condition, time was slightly long then expected. ( think this is due to CEX having set post days which isn’t mentioned when booking) price was... Toon meer

Very simple process drop off and collect via local store. Good communication throughout process, fixed price repairs, PS3 fully repaired and back in use. Highly recommend this service.

Xbox S series HDMI repair

Although Xbox repaired it was with them for nearly 2 weeks. Too long.

To clarify, your device was booked in on 22/02/26, arrived at our repair centre on 02/03/26, and was back at your CEX store by 05/03/26 which is within our 7-day turnaround time from when it reached us.

As bookings are made through CEX stores, we don’t have direct control over the information provided at the point of booking. Delivery and collection times can vary depending on store location and courier schedules, which can impact the total time your device is away from you.

PlayStation 5 fix

My PlayStation was fixed within the timescale they told me to a very good standard, I have no issues and would return for any other electronic devices I have should they need it.

My repair was done really quickly and efficiently and comes with a 12 month warranty. I was also kept up to date during the process. I'd strongly recommend it.

Would definitely recommend people that are expert in this game tech centre

Well for me it started off waking up in the morning PlayStation not turning on tried a different lead didn’t work spoke to CEX they told us to drop it off here. We’ll get it side for you. Nothing to worry about. Sent it to the tech centre did an amazing job honestly truly appreciate it. Would definitely recommend them.

We God news or bad news.

We were told from the start that the repair would take 3 weeks and if not repairable, we would be informed straight away.
Luckily, thePS5 was repaired and delivered back to the shop.
Who could ask for any more than that. Brilliant, Thanks.

My xbox had sound prior to the repair…

My xbox had sound prior to the repair and after the repair been left with no sound, they are wanting £80 for me to fix their mistake, disgraceful

We work closely with DPD to ensure efficient service and are proud to currently average a turnaround time of 4.8 working days.

For added convenience, we also offer a DPD drop-off solution, which typically ensures next-day delivery once collected.

While we always aim to meet or exceed our seven-day target, there are rare occasions where delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions or courier-related issues. Kind Regards, Tech Centre

PS5 repair experience.

Originally gave my PS5 for repairs in July 2025 which they did fix it for that time, however it felt more like a temporary fix as similar issues have arisen again in Feb 2026.

In the original fix all they did was really reset the console and did some firmware/software updates which has only worked temporarily.

However that’s clearly not the issue with the console in which their customer service team asked me what the issues could be with my console second time round as they couldn’t replicate the fault to which I believed the console required new thermal paste or it could be a poor Power supply unit to which I was informed that information would be passed onto the engineers.

Low and behold they did nothing much afterwards as the console returned quite dusty, they again restored to finding software issues again in which they found nothing wrong.

My console still crashes when I play games. I have no intentions to send it back as they are unable to find any faults so.

5/5 for the repair in July 2025
1/5 cause I can’t give 0 in Feb 2026

Ps5 repair

Upfront cost of the repair was helpful, staff very knowledgeable and courteous. Got my sons ps5 back after 10 days, we were originally told up to 30 days. Very pleased with the service. Would definitely use them again

Excellent repair service and competitive pricing

Dropped off my xbox series controller for repair, it was convenient, they have a policy of no repair, no fee but importantly the repairs have a 24 month warranty which is the longest I've seen. It takes a few weeks for the repairs to be done but I'm very happy with the price and service
