Bed bugs. They made me wait 2 days covered in bed bug bites itching like crazy, then want to quote me $5000 for heat treatment…. I got a tank of propane, and a radiant space heater attachment. Super heated the rooms. 80 bucks. Bugs melted.

Beware when they do attic inspection, they fraudulently make up stuff like rat infestation, to upsell you their attic restoration and exclusion services. They quoted me $18,000, and created a sense of urgency. When I hired a second opinion pest service they said I had no issues in my attic other than normal standard activity with mice. And now when I cancelled their services after 25 years of being a customer they are not even willing to prorate my quarterly payment that was made early this month.

TERMINIX REPRESENTATIVE CAME OUT TO MY RESIDENCE, TO GET RID OF MY PEST PROBLEMS THAT THEY TRIED 11 YRS AGO.
THEY FAILED THEN AND THEY FAILED NOW, WITH ANOTHER AGREEMENTS AND EVEN NOW THEY CANT HONOR TO RID MY ATTIC OF WOLF RATS, HE LIED ON TODAYS APPLICATION WHEN CLEARLY THEIR WAS ACTIVE EVIDENCE SEEN, DROPPINGS ALL AROUND. THEN HE SAID TERMINIX HAD A PROGRAM TO GET RID OF THE RATS ONLY TO LATER FIND OUT IT WASN'T THRU TERMINIX BUT A LOAN CO NAMED SMAC, AND THEY WEREN'T PRESENT IN DISCUSSING THE CONTRACT, BUT THEY DID MAIL ME AN UNSIGNED FORM WELCOME LETTER, THANKING ME FOR A FINANCED SERVICE CONTRACT, TERMINIX AND THIS COMPANY IN MEMPHIS HAS A TERRIBLE BBB REVIEW WITH NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS, WHY WASN'T THE LOAN COMPANY THERE IN THE MEET AND GREET MEETING AS WELL. AND I HAVE A DISABILITY, DUE TO STROKES AND I REALLY FEEL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

Had problems with birds entering my home. Terminix promised to patch up all entries into the home and on the roof. Salesman asked for payment up front. (I should have known better). Project never completed. No call backs, no refund, unbelievable fraud. Still fighting and it's been over a year. Please don't do business with Terminix. $2,000 lost 😡

Best Pest Control in the Industry.

Terminix termite service has been a nightmare for us.They missed multiple appointments and caused us thousands in delays across our three properties.Not once have they been on time for an appointment.They even performed services without our approval. Then billed our contractor. We are extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend them.

I can't make this up! After five days of phone calls with people who recite the same programed words ("To whom do I have the pleausre of speaking with?"} an appointment was finally arranged for a free inspection.

i took the day off from work and at 10am I called Terminex for Craig's ETA. On hold for 12 minutes. Finally told that I would receive a calll within 5 minutes from Craig, giving me his ETA.
Craig did indeed call, but he was in White Plaines, at least an hour from NYC, and he was shocked to hear that I was expecting him. He informed me that Terminix does not serve Manhattan, hasn't for years, and he feels so terribly bad for me!
How can a business be run in such a manner?

Very bad service. Did'nt come to the appointment, that I have confirmed 2 hours ago. no call, no apologises.
When I went to home depot bicycling I meet a Termimix truck and I talk to the driver explaining the case. He told me he'll call me in twenty minutes. I am still waiting!

Just like everyone else.... shame on me for not reading trust pilot. Scheduling - one person said they'll be there first thing on Thursday. Thursday morning the guy calls and says that I can't get there until the afternoon. The tech who sprayed the chemicals stated "the plastic bed encasements" are included. Then you find out they try to charge you $200 for what you can get on A-zon for $50. NEVER, NEVER....NEVER... use Terminix

Would not use Terminex again. They did get rid of our termites. We signed a contract & paid up front for termite removal & indoor pest control issues. They only took care of termites. Never once contacted us after they got our money. Then started taking monthly payments out of our bank account for the indoor pest control ( which they didn’t provide). We are still awaiting reimbursement. We will not be using them again.Very disappointed with service.

Terminix is nothing more than a scam you better off buying spray from Lowe’s or home depot they came to my home several times instead of fixing the issue they made it worse every time I call and complain they charge my card again then send a different guy out then after I tried to cancel my service I continued to get harassed by one of they employees via text also unprofessional calls also threats I have copy of the text messages to prove what I’m saying is true save your money and don’t become Terminix next victim

We had a free termite inspection set up. When the tech came, he tried to charge us 200 dollars. We explained we had a free inspection. He left, very upset. What a ripoff of a company!

Thank goodness we did not go with Terminix. We had a rat infestation that Terminix said we had to rip out all ceilings and walls to get rid of. We called another company here called Pest Exit. They came that day and had the rats gone within 2 weeks! Saved $$$ Do not use Terminix.

The WORST company ever! They do NOT keep appointments and if you call to find out why your service person hasn't shown up, you are kept on perpetual hold, and 30 minutes later, they disconnect you!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THEY SUCK! We canceled our contract with them after repeatedly having issues with people coming to service our home, or, to be more accurate, NOT servicing our home. They do not live up to their contract!!!3

I recently had 1 year contract with terminix. The contract ended Jan 2. The day after I made my first payment. I called specifically to cancel the contract and the customer rep asked if I wanted to continue the service for $68 per month, I said NO thank you. Two days ago, I receive a bill for $68. I called to get an explanation of the bill and to cancel the bill. I was told I would receive a call in 48 hours, no one has called nor reached out to me.

It's now 9 months into a "bundled" contract that disallows court action and/or a class action lawsuit (I know there are so many who would join in on that!) I have been hounded by phone calls, texts and emails for months saying I owe them money. I do not. They have about driven me crazy. My last service call was cancelled after I waited for four (4) hours - later told due to nonpayment, but then told I should have received a refund. Honestly, Terminix (Rentokil) should be put out of business due to harassment and unscrupulous business practices. I hope no one else has to endure what I have since May 2024. They charge and hound you for money for ineffective services after multiple pleas for help. Bogus company!!

I had the misfortune to end up with Terminix almost two years ago for bedbugs in our home. Despite treatment, the ornery little buggers' eggs hatched twice and both times they hatched inside my clothing. Terminix never showed up when appointments were made, no apologies, no real communication and to top it all off, the first guy who showed up (a helper, I guess), gave me a hot smile then robbed me. I lost my mother's heirloom necklace of coins in 24kt gold electroplate plus a gorgeous peridot necklace. I feel fortunate they didn't take anything else, and it hurts to realize there are people out there who will take advantage of any situation because they wanted me out of the house before doing any real work. Then, when I named the thief, company refused to deal with me. We got another company and there were extremely professional. Terminix is not at all professional.

I did not renew my contract but they visited my property without my permission. They then charged me for the visit. When I rang to challenge this they said that I had to cancel the contract. I wrote to them three months ago asking for an explanation but still have not had a response. We have had a contract for many years and have spent thousands of dollars with them. Their customer service is appalling and their treatment do not work.
