The app for my ticket froze up and wouldn’t access my tickets in Swansea station twice as my transport for Wales app said I didn’t have a return ticket to Cardiff station . . The guards at Swansea station after 15 minutes managed to access my ticket back home . I felt like I wasn’t getting back home as my app again wouldn’t access my ticket going home . In fact I had major problems with my ticket at Swansea station and I had to show my email from you to get out of Swansea station back on Friday morning . I was going crazy because again i was utterly exhausted and furious at the tickets being shown to the staff at Swanse station . My god next time I will buy a paper ticket for my next journeys out of Cardiff station in the future folks . When I finally arrived home I was so happy to put my key in my flat here in Cardiff . .You need to seriously update your ticket application transport for Wales okay . . My god when I travel anywhere in the country I just need to have no problems getting to my destination and back home . 100%++++ . I personally have to thank your Swansea guards for helping me out twice last Friday . God knows what I would have been able to do if I hadn’t been for them . . In finishing this is the reason why I have to give you 1 out of 5 for my trip to Swansea last week . The only positive thing was that both my journeys were on time last week folks . .
User friendly
As it turned out I wasn’t able to make the journey. However, finding the train I wanted and booking it was very simple as was making the payment.

A long day out on the trains mostly TfW. Crewe to Newport to Ebbw Vale to Maesteg to Cardiff to Newport to Crewe.
Most of the trains were pretty much on time - thank you
All staff I encountered were pleasant and most helpful.
Now the trains from Crewe to Newport and Newport to Crewe were only 2 carriages. I believe this was not intended - they should have been 5 carriages. Thank you for not cancelling but 2 carriages is quite limited.
All in all a great day out

Great price, bought in advance .Found it easy to buy. But said I needed to book a seat, which I did. Only to find when I had paid for ticket, no booked seat.

Can't fault my journey. I had to change twice and all 3 three trains left on time to the minute, and all the staff I spoke to were very pleasant too. However 2 complaints. Firstly I wanted to discover whether my bus pass would cover my seniors' ticket reduction and it wasn't clear anywhere on the website. In the end I had to ring up to confirm. Secondly the announcements at the stations were appalling at busy stations like Cardiff when trains had pulled up. The noise muffled the announcement to such an extent that it was often difficult to even understand which language was being spoken, and lots of passengers were struggling to find out what had been said.
Online Booking Shows Wrong Departure Station; Every Connection to Airport Late
Booking process is disconnected from real life. Ticket was booked Fishguard Harbor direct to Cardiff Central. The train NEVER CAME to FSH. It apparently stopped inbound at Fishguard-Goodwick (next-to-last stop before end-of-line at FSH), but never came up the hill to FSH. (I suspect that this is because the electronic schedule is simply wrong: at 16:00, there are no work crews coming off shift at FSH, and no ferries arriving or departing, so no reason for a train to come the extra couple of minutes up to FSH from Fishguard-Goodwick. Nevertheless, I was TICKETED on 30 Mar - no reason why the operator could not have been informed that the extra stop was necessary, no reason why I could not have been informed to walk down to the previous stoip, and no reason why the FSH departure board could not have been updated to display the correct schedule.) I was seated by the track directly under the arrivals board from 15:30. The board showed "next train Fishguard Harbor 16:00." At 16:10 it dropped that notice, and posted "Next Train 19:35." I called Customer Service: they were simply lost and confused. There was now no way to get from FSH to Cardiff Airport by rail in time for my flight. Ran down to Goodick: same, no train scheduled for hours, so I grabbed the next bus to Havorfordwest, and rebooked a new route from there. It required FOUR changes (the last being the terminal shuttlebus from Cardiff Airport Station). All trains were running 5-8 minutes late - but the first two held the train so we made it - but when the third arrived 2 MINUTES late to Bridgend the Cardiff Airport express connection did not wait! The next did not leave for an hour! So after EIGHT HOURS travel from Fishguard, I missed my Cardiff flight by FIVE MINUTES: saw my plane pulling back from the gate as I arrived. Total cost to me for rebookings and overnight hotel? Over 300 quid plus 24 hour delay in arrival at final destination. Not best pleased. Clearly, the interface between TFW's imaginary digital management world and its real-life human operator world is non-existent. All that should be needed is a couple of phone calls .

Staff are always helpful and polite. The trains are usually clean.
Just a pity about some of the public using them that they either feel they don't need to pay or can't be bothered to clean up after themselves.
