The Coach Hire People Reviews

The driver was on time. Communicated with me giving me an ETA. On arrival, the coach was very clean. We had an executive coach so had a toilet on board. This was spotless. The driver made sure the coach was parked very close to the curb and lowered the coach then got out to help those who needed hand in getting on the coach. The driver helped people with bags by asking if they needed it under in the luggage spot or take them inside to put on the overhead lodge. The journey was smooth th and we arrived on time at our destination. I will use this company again. Booking the coach was so straight forward and their prices very reasonable.

Excellent and highly professional service from start to finish. Everything went very smoothly, and the coaches arrived on time as agreed. The drivers were professional, courteous and helpful throughout, and all the arrangements were handled efficiently.

A special thank you to Lee Hunt for his excellent communication, professionalism and assistance throughout the booking process. He was always helpful and made sure that everything was properly organised.

We were very satisfied with the service provided by The Coach Hire People and would certainly recommend them to others. We would be very happy to use their services again in the future.

Five-star service – reliable, punctual and professional. Highly recommended!

What great service we received. Having originally booked a small vehicle for our journey to Gloucester, we soon found more people wanting to join us, which meant eventually needing a 49 seater coach! The booking process was easy and swift. Dean was incredibly patient with us changing our booking on more than one occasion and also when the pickup point had to be altered. The driver was kind, considerate and did a good job avoiding congested roads and getting us to our destination at the appointed time. Would I use them again - yes most definitely.

5-star family business

I have worked with Lee over the past decade and his business at The Coach Hire People is reflective of him as a person and professional.

Together with his brother, Dean, they have developed a business built around quality, reliability and transparency.

Whilst we work in a similar space, it is reassuring to know that positive, respectful relationships still exist.

If you need someone who will look after your coach hire needs, choose The Coach Hire People.

Absolutely saved the day for us!

Dean and Lee were incredible when I approached them with a plea for help. A coach company let us down two days before our event so I was in a complete state of panic.

The Coach Hire People were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us source two coaches for our Work Summer Party.

I cannot thank them, or the two lovely drivers, enough for ensuring that our party could go ahead.

We had a 3 day trip to East Grinstead in July 2026. The company provided an excellent mini bus. A large enough boot for all 16 people to have suitcases stored.
The driver arrived on time each day for our visits to places of interest, he was professional at all times. The minibus was air conditioned and very comfortable. We will definetely use them again.

My experience with The Coach Hire Co was truly wonderful from start to finish. Lee was such a joy to work with—warm, caring, and understanding. Their professionalism and service honestly exceeded my expectations. The coach and driver were top-notch, making the entire journey smooth and enjoyable. I’d happily choose them again for any future needs. Truly excellent customer service!

Great service

We recently used The Coach Hire People for a regional conference, supporting our team flying into both LGW and LHR.

Dean was incredibly helpful in arranging all bookings and logistics. We also chose the meet-and-greet option at the airports, which worked brilliantly for such a large group arriving at different times.

Mr He, our driver, was wonderful. Very friendly, professional, and an extremely careful driver.

We had two separate airport drop-offs, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The team also commented on how clean and modern the coach was throughout the journey.

We will definitely use The Coach Hire People again, the service was absolutely perfect.

We had an excellent experience with Lee Hunt.
The service was extremely punctual throughout the entire trip, and the coaches were perfect: clean, comfortable, and ideal for managing our group.

A special thanks to Lee Hunt, who proved to be highly professional and incredibly helpful, especially in resolving an important issue that arose during the tour quickly and efficiently.

Great reliability, excellent customer care, and outstanding support.
We will definitely work with them again in the future.

Lee who helped with the bookings was fantastic and super helpful. Also my driver on the day was so professional and friendly and accommodating! Thank you

Great trip. Took a bunch of kids to Thorpe Park. The whole booking and trip itself were professional and great communication and service throughout. Thanks Lee and the team.

Lee was fab and the whole service was great - efficient and friendly - thanks so much!

A great company to work with - very personable and helpful. We hired a coach to take wedding guests from Hackney Town to a venue in Shoreditch. The driver was excellent and we could not have asked for more in terms of communication and reliability- thank you

Excellent operation from top to bottom. Dean and the team are professional, easy to work with, and genuinely customer focused — exactly what you want from a transport partner. Clear communication, reliable service, and a real understanding of what the job requires. As a fellow operator, I know the difference between companies that talk about standards and those that actually deliver them. These guys deliver. Highly recommended.

We used this company last minute as our previous company had let us down. Lee and Dean were nothing short of friendly, professional and very swift in their organisation of our requirements. We were given confirmations, emergency numbers and a contact name and number for our driver on the day, who was, I have to say, a very nice man.
I would definitely recommend this company and we will definitely be using them again in the future.

Lee was so helpful and quick to respond to any correspondence. He gave total piece of mind on a large group trip that I had planned and I would not hesitate to use them again :)

Lee and all the staff at The Coach Hire People were very helpful. We had a family funeral and had to travel from London to Liverpool in difficult circumstances. Lee was respectful and kind in his email communication with me over a couple of weeks, and was very kind. We are very grateful. The price was reasonable and the drivers were very pleasant.

We just wanted to send our thanks and appreciation to your driver for yesterday. He was amazing throughout our visit to London. He really was first class.
Please can you thank him again for us. We will definitely be using you when we next visit London and recommending you to all the schools and groups here.
Perfect service throughout.

I would highly recommend The Coach Hire People as suppliers of transport. From the first contact through to the actual event their attention to detail was exceptional. Thank you, Dean.
