Hi Team,
Hi Team,
I am writing to let you know that the cake was really good but the outer blue layer was very thick and had too much of colour on it. I am really sorry to say this but I got disappointed and it didn’t meet my expectations.
Thanks,
Akshatha Nagaraju.

Dear Akshatha,
Thank you so much for your honest feedback and for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that the outer blue layer didn’t meet your expectations. We completely understand that taste is a personal preference, and while many of our customers enjoy the buttercream finish, we appreciate that it might not be for everyone.
For those who prefer a lighter alternative, we do offer nude and semi-naked cake options that come with minimal or no buttercream covering. However, these styles may limit the possibility of achieving certain colourful designs.
We’re proud that the vast majority of our customers love both the appearance and taste of our cakes, but your input is a valuable reminder that there’s always room to improve.
If there’s anything further we can do or if you’d like to speak to someone from our team directly, please don’t hesitate to reach out via WhatsApp or email.
Warm regards,
The Cravery Cakes Team

Thanks for giving us a 5-star review! The team at The Cravery can’t wait to welcome you back for your next visit.
Amazing….try for yourself
I sent a photo of a cake design I wanted for my little one and was blown away with what I received. The cake was so much better than the photo and I could tell that so much care and attention had gone into making it perfect for our little one’s birthday. The cake tasted amazing also and the sponge was so fresh, everyone at the party was so complimentary and wanted to know where we got it from. I’m such a perfectionist and was worried about using a new company but this will definitely be my go to place going forward. Wonderful customer service, they can’t do enough for you and they even sent me a photo of my cake before it arrived. Brilliant delivery right to our front door by a lovely delivery guy who wanted to make sure our cake arrived in perfect condition. Thanks The Cravery, I will be in touch soon about hubbies birthday cake.

Thank you for using our service. It is our pleasure and privilege to serve you. We are happy our services exceeded your expectations. We sensed your perfectionist nature when you expressed the details of the cake and the entire theme you selected for your little one. However, you were so polite, sweet and kind in your words. That brought a feeling of goodwill and helped us to create a another piece of a great cake art. We are happy you loved your cake as we did. We appreciate the trust you have placed in us and look forward to serving you again.

The graduation is really a special event for your daughter and deserves an outstanding graduation cake. It allows her to brush away the stress of years of hard work, and celebrate the moment with the people, who have been on this journey with her. It was a pleasure to serve you; a guest came from Wales to Birmingham University. We wish your daughter good luck in all her future endeavours!
Beyond my expectations
Beyond my expectations! I have contacted a few bakeries in Birmingham but decided to go with the Cravery at the end because they seem to be the most approachable and helpful bakery company I have experienced. The lady named Kamila, who handled my inquiries is very professional and patient, she explains things in details and I can clearly see that she genuinely pay attentions to all my requests to ensure our customised cakes look best. My son and we instantly fell in love with the cake the moment we saw it! What’s even better? The cake is very yummy too & worth every penny! I would rate 6 stars if I could and I have recommended this company to all my friends for their future uses.

So far it's been really good
So far it's been really good with the order journey for me as a customer. I am a business analyst by profession and I really liked the number of options your portal had for the cake designs, type of frostings, personalisation, etc. But with respect to cakes it is always good to see what the end journey will be once I get the actual item delivered to complete the experience. I am looking forward to that date.

It is always a joy for us to be able to provide you with our best service. Corporate cupcakes need a company with reliable service. We were lucky to get orders from companies like One Network, Robert Dyas, NHS, Graham, the list goes on. Thank you for your kind words. Without your support, the vision we have would remain in our hearts and minds. Thank you for making these things a reality.
Extremely helpful
Extremely helpful, Kamila helped me choose a perfect bespoke birthday cake for my daughters 13th.

Delicious cupcakes + spectacular service
I ordered a batch of custom branded cupcakes for a utility themed event for my company in Birmingham with The Cravery. It was a fantastic experience all round. Kamila was easy to contact via Whatsapp and gave us excellent advice on the design for our cupcakes. She worked with us to achieve a look that met our brand style - helping us decide on colours, style and image toppers.
The cupcakes were delivered to us in the exact time frames requested to the NEC (a notoriously difficult venue) two days in a row and in perfect condition.
And the cupcakes themselves were beautiful and delicious. They smelled so good; lots of people at the event came over to our booth purely because they could smell them and it had made them hungry!
Kamila also wrote me a lovely card and provided me with some cupcakes of my own as a thank you which was an amazing personal touch.
Overall, The Cravery delivered a spectacular service and we will definitely turn to them again in the future for any baking needs!

Absolutely perfect and tasted amazing
The whole experience from start to end has been faultless :). The Cravery made the most beautiful 30th birthday cake for my best friend that we have ever seen. So so grateful, she absolutely loved it!
I have never had a special cake made from an independent cake company before but I found the whole process so easy with Cravery, as soon as I ordered they messaged me straight away to see if I had any questions and if I would like to personalise the cake in anyway. They went over and above to make it exactly what I had in mind. They kept in touch the whole time and the delivery was also faultless.
It was absolutely perfect and tasted amazing :). I went for chocolate cake, with vanilla buttercream and salted caramel sauce - it was insane! Thank you so much.
