The Goacambridge is absolutely amazing and very professional. Have ordered twice and both times it turned out amazing with so many great compliments from guests about the cake. Does an amazing job matching whatever theme you request. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Through Instagram, we ordered two birthday cakes with Pippa pig theme to be collected on Sunday late morning and Gao kindly accommodated our request. The cakes were so lovely and tastey, filled with freshly whipped cream and strawberries, just as we'd dream for. The sugar level is just right to the sweetpoint, perfect for young children.
One of the cake was dairy free, and our lactose-intolerant friends were so amazed that they enjoyed such creamy cake without any stomachache etc.
Can't recommend Gao more if you also like soft cake with cream.

Gao made my birthday cake, responded to all my requests and design preference. The cake was so soft and melts in the mouth. My son is not a fan of cake but loved Gao’s cake that is evidence the cakes tastes good and also looks amazing. One special thing she did was the care and concern she exhibited after the cake was collected, she provided a cool bag to transport the cake and avoid damage. Thank you Gao.

I was incredibly happy with the aesthetic and taste of the classic matcha cake. For the special occasion of both my graduation and my birthday, The Gao also suggested a fondant mortarboard add-on which made the cake even more special. I would highly recommend The Gao for their high quality, flexibility and timeliness for delivery.

The cakes are delicious and everyone enjoyed them! They are light and fluffy cakes, perfectly balanced in sweetness. I was grateful Gao was accommodating to our cake needs as we had made last minute plans to celebrate a birthday. Gao responded quickly and executed everything given the short time frame. The Jellycat cake ordered for my son’s birthday was so cute, lovely pastel colours and beautifully presented. The cake was also very delicious, super soft sponge with cream and strawberry filling.

I ordered a minimalist mango cake for my birthday. It was easy to pick up and came in good packaging. The cake was delicious as well as beautifully decorated. Gao Cambridge did an amazing job and I look forward to supporting this local business again

This was my third time ordering cakes from April, and I couldn’t be happier. She is incredibly kind, helpful, and always quick to respond. She’s also very flexible and accommodating when it comes to specific requests, which makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
I honestly can’t say enough about how delicious her cakes are. We’re not big fans of buttercream or heavy icing, so finding someone who makes fresh cream cakes, especially in Cambridge, is quite rare. April’s cakes are exactly what we were looking for.
Her flavours are unique, the decorations are beautiful, and the cakes are perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, which we really appreciate. Without exaggeration, these are some of the best cakes I’ve ever had, even compared to ones I’ve tried in different countries.
I highly recommend her cakes to anyone looking for something special and truly delicious.

I got the Basque cheesecake for my colleague’s birthday and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment it was served, everyone was impressed by how beautiful it looked, but the taste truly stole the show. The texture was perfectly balanced, it is creamy, rich, and smooth. Each bite literally melted in the mouth without feeling overly heavy, which made it easy to go back for more. It was a big hit with everyone at the celebration, and several people asked where it was from. Easily one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had.
Can’t wait to get another one for the next celebration!
