Please be aware before signing their membership! They do not reveal that the membership cannot be canceled until you go to their office to sign paperwork. I paid nearly $200 and had 2 adjustments. I called when I noticed that after 2 months of not going, they were charging me $79/month. I asked for their Corporate office number to complain and was told to Google it, I'm too busy! Another company that only cares about money, not people! Greed is alive and well in Prescott, AZ at The Joint Chiropractic!

I have been to all sorts of doctors about my arm pain for over a year . I decided to try the joint and God finally lead me to comfort Dr Dawn took time evaluating me and even gave me remedies to help ease my pain at home . I’ve had 4 visits and my arm and posture has improved. I can do more now without hurting

After my very first visit to the one of the locations I got bad pain in my neck and my vertebrae, which I did not have before. The pain turn to be so bad I could not turn my head for several weeks and even had difficulties to sleep.
Since it was my very third week in the USA (I moved for my work from Austria, Europe) and I was very busy at work (new position, new country, new everything) I had not time to see a doctor.
I asked them to terminate my subscription right after this visit.
I must add I'm regularly exercise yoga and pilates, so I was not in bad shape or had difficulties with flexibility.
Back then I was so busy, I oversee they respond and the fact they were withdrawing monthly charges for doing nothing.
Now when I find out the fact and requested refund they offering me refund of 40%!!!
Please be alert and do not the fall into trap I did, especially when you are new to the country!

The clinic is Riverview Florida should not be trusted! The Operations Manager Cory Leppert is dishonest and unethical. This clinic will charge you for services even after you follow their archaic cancellation policies to the letter. All they have to say is, they show nothing on record. Since their cancellation policy is in person and on paper they can easily destroy your paperwork or just simply throw it in the trash. Then they can keep charging your HSA account without your knowledge and then refuse to refund your $. Don't trust this business, there are too many other choices out there. It's too bad, their doctors were great but with filth running the place like Cory Leppert, you will only get robbed in the end.

Went with my father around at 10am. Front desk worker proceeds to hand a man with severe arthritis and neck issues a stack of paper and then tell him to “leave if your going to be negative when he complains about it. One of the chiropractors came out of the back to threaten him when he asks the front help why she has such a bad attitude. This happened in the span of around 5-10 minutes and shows a severe lack of professionalism and possibly violent behavior and anger issues.

Go literally ANYWHERE else. There are far better options in the area, including a massage spa at the mall nearby and several other chiropractors who treat you with more respect.

The joint chiro had a promo this January to buy 10 months of chiro and get 2 months free. I bought their promo unfortunately they never give the 2 months free. Little that I know they even ended my benefits after 7 months. When I called them about this they gave me explanations completely different from the time I had signed up. I was told they will give me a call back but they never did. I can’t believe I got into this. My son and I will never go back to this place. They rather cheat their customers for $ than provide customer satisfaction. They even charged my credit card without authorization.

The first 2 visits were fine. Went over my issue and the fact I have osteoporosis. The next visit-#3-I saw a different doctor. He asked why I was there-red flag-what about notes in my file, spent a long time discussing my issues on first visit. He worked on a knot in my neck, then pressed on my spine causing excruciating pain. He then said maybe he should just use the Activator. Too late. The following day I had horrible pain at work and had to leave. I am losing 2 weeks of pay at the very least, 1 ER visit, follow up with PCP, 2 X-rays, medication, loa paperwork, possible termination +++. I called the manager, he said “this is why we have malpractice insurance, I suggest you contact an attorney who handles medical malpractice.”

OMG They did refund unused visits. This was my first, and last experience with chiropractic service. Not only is the original issue WORSE, I suffered a rib injury as well.

Every single time I have an issue outside of my regular visits, Dr. Austin fixes me up immediately! Best Chiropractor ever. The staff is incredibly nice too!

GIVE THEM RAISES PLEASE

What a waste of time. I made an appointment to get an adjustment for my back. But because I am medicare eligible they refused service because medicare would not pay. Medicare would not be billed was planning to pay with my FSA card. Walked out and cannot recommend anyone going to get help

The person at the desk was not particularly friendly. Obviously it was just a crummy low paying job. The chiropractor who everyone was calling “Dr John” ugh, was a pompous little guy who looked at me and stated. “Obviously you have problems! Look at that neck”I’m surprised you’re not a violinist. (I told him I was a pianist) He just wanted me out of there. He stated that they needed X-rays because without a doubt, he could work on me but he didn’t want the countless beginner chiropractors who had little experience work on me. He also called me “Sweetheart” in an incredibly patronizing way. Arrogance leaked out of the guy. I wouldn’t waste your time or money. Go to a good chiropractor. Really. It’s your life and your body and he clearly stated most of the employees are beginners in the profession.

The Joint employees took very care of me when I couldn’t and I’m very grateful to have experienced there services.

In March, when visiting Washington D.C. with my son, I injured my back. Extreme pain. I could barely walk or stand. I didn't know what to do but was pointed to a chiropractor. The Joint accepted walk-ins, so I took a cab to their location.
They were very friendly and accommodating. The treatment was extremely painful. No x-rays were taken. They told me I had injured my back. (It was later diagnosed as a herniated disc.) The Doc told me that I needed to come back every day that I was in D.C. And then the pressure tactics began. There I am trying to remain standing and being pressured to sign up for the $89 deal which allowed me 6 treatments even back home in Tennessee. I agreed on the condition that my Health Account card would not be used as an autopay. The sweet receptionist said that she would delete my card number so I would not be charged again.
I went to one additional 'treatment' before quitting due to extreme pain and no improvement.
I'm now under the care of an orthopedic surgeon. I received a notice from my Health Card that I had been charged another $89 for April. Surprise surprise.
I've sent 2 emails using The Joint 'contact us' from their website. Guess what? No response. So now I've had to cancel the card and file a legal protest of charges with the credit card provider.
PEOPLE! Listen to me. DO NOT get involved with this organization. They have NO customer service.
Shameful.

UPDATE... This fine organization has put me into collections. Unbelievable.

There was an error. We specifically said we want a pay as we go visits. After recently reviewing the CC statement. I noticed we had been billed the last 5 months at $79.00. We spoke to the front desk person she basically said. Nothing we can do or refund. But we can get you in for a visit today .since you paid this month. Again the person prior messed up leading to us getting around $500 deducted in total. This is frustrating. I now dislike this service and this experience. Was horrible. Being told sorry someone at the office made a mistake. You need to eat it. Not thrilled.

Dr. Nicole was kind, considerate, and attentive to my needs and concerns. She reviewed my x-ray report and took precaution with her manipulation(s). My case was a little more complex and needed additional attention to detail; she was knowledgeable to refer me to the proper resources. I would recommend "The Joint Chiropractor" to anyone who needs a quick qualified adjustment.

I hate to do this, but my experience had bothered me so much I feel I must share. I visited in August of last year due to immense back pain that was greatly interfering with just about any part of my life. I had never been to a chiropractor and was desperate for relief at this point; my pain regularly brought me to tears. I visited the Temecula location amidst decent reviews. The receptionist hands me a clipboard of paper to fill out, she literally tells me just to fill the front. Then I bring back the papers and she snarkily tells me to fill out the rest like I'm an idiot. There was one other couple waiting, and she did the same thing to the woman of that couple! The woman sits back down, but we even exchanged glances of bewilderment, and she's loudly complaining to her partner. Now when I'm finally seen, the chiropractor seems almost arrogant. He pokes fun at how I'd never been before, saying you wouldn't skip oil changes on your car would you? Then, one of the questions on the paperwork was a pain rating scale up to 10. I put 10, because the pain is equivalent to feeling like your spine is bending in half. He makes a joke about how of it was actually a 10 I'd be in the hospital. Excuse me? Why would you even include 10 in the paperwork if you're just going to doubt what the client chooses? I didn't have insurance, so this was my best option. I made sure the mention how the pain has made me cry. He went into detail about how much experience he has, and even pointed out how strange it is that I can't lay flat without pain. Go figure. He adjusted me, it sounded cool! But I must admit it did absolutely nothing to help. I was still in the same pain, and I never went back.

The Joint has really helped me with my back! My fingers don't go numb anymore and I can walk without being hunched over..

I’d give them less than one star if that was an option. A couple of years ago I went to them because I had thrown out my L3 and was in a lot of pain. Drove 40 minutes to Westlake, Texas to get there. When I got there, the doctor refused to see me and recommended some other chiropractor for me to go to. He was substituting for the doctor in charge. So to say the least I was upset I had driven 40 minutes in pain and was driving home now, 40 minutes in pain. So when the doctor whose clinic it was got back from his vacation he called me and apologized. Meanwhile, I found another chiropractor so when he offered for me to come back, I didn’t need his offer. Fast forward to today, so I had the same issue again and went up to the joint at Four Points Austin, Texas as a new patient. I’ve never seen a doctor there or had any work done there by any doctor. Well, they told me since my paperwork was in the system. I wasn’t a new patient and that I would be charge $45 instead of the new patient fee of $29. I said, I was never even seen by the doctor before he didn’t even touch me nothing he just talked to me. So I’ve now been burnt twice by this business. Still in a lot of pain and was not seen.

In 2018, after falling during a headstand, I sought the help of a chiropractor. (It is important to note that since the age 12 I have visited chiropractors. My first chiropractor was competent and she educated me on the exact steps to my complete and proper alignment. I can tell when a step is omitted.) So in 2018, I visited Joint Chiropractic. (FYA: My chiropractor was a middle-aged African-originating female.) I visited her three times. The first time, she adjusted my neck but she did not adjust all the way down to the SI joint, so 24 hours later I had new pain just sitting in my seat. The second time, she adjusted my hips only, so 24 hours later I had pain in my back. The third time, I went back to ask for correction, and she adjusted my middle back. The third and last time I told her I was not paying because she was not giving me a full head-to-tail alignment which was causing additional and new pains. A few weeks later I visited the MD. I asked the MD for an x-ray, because every time I inhaled my vertebrae would loudly pop between my right-side shoulder blade. I told the MD that I either had a lung tumor or I had a chiropractic misalignment. The MD confirmed that I did not have a lung tumor but that I did have musculoskeletal misalignment, which confirmed that the chiropractor injured me. So then I was afraid to trust another chiropractor to fix what the Joint Chiropractic chiropractor had broken in me. For 4+ years, I have struggled with just breathing and anytime I try to run I feel like I am suffocating so I can only manage no more than 1.5 miles before the oxygen deficiency is excruciating. October 2022 I sought the help of an acupuncturist who also confirmed that my T-3 vertebrae is misaligned and causing my breathing problems. The acupuncturist was able to palpate the T-3 into alignment, but it didn't hold because I need a head-to-tail alignment. So, I found a naturopathic doctor who is also a chiropractor and he is helping me, but now it will take months for my body to realign, because after years of yoga and weightlifting, my muscles/ligaments/tendons have formed around the misalignment. Additionally, the misalignment has created nerve damage that extends to my fingertips. Last, the Joint Chiropractic chiropractor knew that I was a marathon runner, so it is not coincidental that she injured the part of me that would ruin my ability to breathe. I would sue her and Joint Chiropractic but there is a 2-year statute of limitations on chiropractic injuries. Moral? 1.) Don't trust The Joint Chiropractic with your body and health 2.) If you have new pain after visiting a chiropractor, then get the injury documented by a third party MD 'and' an acupuncturist 3.) Trust South Korean practitioners -- acupuncturists, naturopaths, and chiropractors -- who study Chinese Traditional Medicine and be extremely wary of anyone else.

I use to go to The Joint Chiropractic in Los Angeles on Highland and Wilshire. They had a great chiropractor.
Once she moved to San Diego I canceled my membership in August 2022.

Just saw a $79 charge for October from them.

The manager swears that I didn't send the form but I did.
Mistakes happen and I get that. But the manager was very snippy and I didn't appreciate her approach.

Here's my other concern, if they have a client that they know wants to cancel and they have not received the form from them to do so.. maybe the client forgot, maybe the email didn't go through, maybe it got buried or went to spam. It happens.

Why would you continue to charge the client ?

The manager's reply was " they are not responsible for reminding patients of their billing etc."

So they don't have your back.. pun intended.

It only takes a min. to make a call or leave a message and notate the account and is much more professional than letting it go and continuing to charge their account.

By doing this you're stealing from them because you know they wanted to cancel and you also know that on your end .. you didn't receive the form needed .. so .. instead, you say nothing and continue to charge them.

If you happen to really like the chiropractor there then great but if you decide to cancel, I would highly recommend that you fill out the form that releases you in their office and take a photo of it.

Do NOT do this by email.

It's too bad they take this approach.

I was charged for September and October.

I asked for a refund for the October charge ( $79) and they have refused.

So.. I won't be going back to The Joint in the future and I don't recommend them.

I don't like the way they treat their customers.

The Joint doesn't have your back!
