I understand why so many people don't believe Chiropractic has any benefits. Scientific evidence, though limited, supports the use of Chiropractic for treating back pain. Companies like The Joint are probably part of the reason that the practice is so distrusted.

I went into the Bentonville, AR location, where they immediately started trying to sell me a contract and push me into visiting twice a week. Of the 30 minutes I spent in the office, I was face-to-face with a care provider for less than 15 minutes. Of the time I was with them, they provided less than two minutes of hands-on care. By comparison, physical therapists usually provide massage, and a comprehensive exercise plan which you can usually complete independently at home.

I might try a different Chiropractor, but it doesn't really seem worth it compared with my experiences with a physical therapist.

Inconsistencies between what you are verbally told and what the contract says. Difficult to cancel wellness plans. Chiropractic care inconsistent between practitioners.

Everything they told me was a lie and I am still fighting for a refund. You cannot trust anyone these days. When you start trying to contact them it is evident that they do not wish to be contacted as I had to call a number in Texas to get the number for the Evansville IN office

I was in Tennessee visiting my granddaughter for a week . While there I was doing some work and my back started to hurt. Went to the joint and got some relief , when checking out the receptionist asked if I wanted a plan that they had, she said I could cancel it in under a month . She”forgot” to tell me it was a TWO month commitment . Now I’m back in Kentucky and going to have to pay another month before I can cancel . Beware my friends Beware !

Awful place. We cancelled our Membership but they kept charging us. They are set up to where they make everything difficult as gar as contact is concerned. Rude people. Chop shop service

Don't be fooled by these scam artists!
For starters they give you an assessment and lead you to believe that they're going to help design a program to to focus on the real issues and get you moving again. After your assessment on your way out they offer you the wellness package which comes with three free sessions on top of the four sessions for $89. What they don't tell you and you wont find any fine print stating, that the four sessions in the wellness program you pay for do not roll over to the next month and if you don't use them you basically lose them. When I asked to see where that is in the contract all of a sudden the counter lady got amnesia. On top of that my last visit 3 months ago the tech cracked my neck and every single time I move it clicks. Do not be injured or Taken by this scam of a business. They've charged me 3 months straight $89 a pop, injured me and claim it's fair that they took my money and won't honor their service. Find a real chiropractor not a bunch of tech pretending like their real chiropractors.

Lake Jackson Texas location. 1st visit was great with Terry. 2nd visit the guy had pulled my shoulder out of socket. That was in October. I barely can hold my toddler now. I struggle when she wants a big hug because of the pain and it's swollen now to. Hurts to wear A bra due to the strap. And when it comes to work, I'm struggling lifting anything more than 5lbs. I'm in more pain now than I was when I first went in. I even told the receptionist about it. She's the one who handed me the extra cards.

Do not go to this place! I was a new client who came in and was told I would need 7 visits. On the 5th visit I was adjusted improperly with too much force by Dr. Micheal Johnsey, of who I informed of my injury several times before leaving that initial visit. I was told that those injuries sometimes happen and to take Ibuprofin and that I would be better in a few days. Needless to say, my ribs were sticking out on my left side and my right collar bone was perturbing as a result of the injury. He did not check me to very my injury. The next day I went back and was checked by a different Dr, in which I was then instructed to go to the ER because I was advised my ribs were fractured Fast forward after repeated X-rays they were not fractured but badly bruised, swollen tissue around the lungs, chest area do to the pulling of the ribs. So basically while being adjusted laying on my right side, my ribs went up into my skin and were moved do to the force by the Dr. during the adjustment. This has been a long and painful recovery. I called their office and received no call back. No one from their office, nor their headquarters or the Dr. Himself has tried to reach out to see if I was okay nor offer an apology. This was a first and last experience for me. I am now going into 5-6 weeks recovering, my ribs are still slightly out and I’ve lost weight over the stress of it all. My daily function of life has been limited. No lifting of anything heavy, couldn’t bend, had to get assistance with showering and using the bathroom. Unable to sleep properly, only on my back for weeks now. As the swelling continues to go down and my ribs heal, my collarbone has gone back into alignment. I’m still waiting for ribs to go back to normal. Not to mention the hospital and doctor bills. I would not recommend this company nor Dr. to anyone. I did not want to believe this was malice but it all boils down to quality of care. I was clearly shown they did not care. Please do your research before considering going to any chiropractor for treatment/services.

Hire real chiropractors', techs there are obviously students, MY 3 years can press my back better.
Had about 16 adjustments only one I felt was done correctly. They rest were more like back rubs.
I canceled my agreement, and you have to go in person and sign a document

Went to the location in Cedar Hills location in Oregon. I bought a package of six a while back; since I hadn’t been in in six months they insisted that I fill out eight pages of paperwork again. I told them nothing has changed, but that didn’t matter. According to the chiropractor, there, they have to answer to the board so I have to fill out paperwork every six months? Ridiculous waste of time.

I have visited the Clift Farms several times. I have had 2 decent visits. The rest of the visits were a waste of time and money. Rude staff, no effort placed on relieving adhesions and little effort on manipulation of that affected area. On my last visit, one practitioner could not get movement and asked another to try. He then manhandled me, was unable to get movement. When I stood up and began to speak, he interrupted me and explained his idea of how my body would react to what he did.
I have been enjoying the benefits of chiropractic care for many years and learned what has been helpful and what has not. The practitioner at this and other locations in my area do listen to the client throughly, do not perform usual standard services that provide results.
For 5 weeks I have been suffering and paid for 6 visits(full price) without receiving care that offered relief, one of those visits was not in their records. When notified of these matters, I was told that that was not possible. "Our staff would not miss recording a visit or allow a customer to leave still in pain.
Arrogance, unskilled, rude and non-proffessional.

Don't Sign Anything..
I was helping my daughter unload her furniture during her check in at Clemson University. I have problems with my back the next day and heard about the joint chiropractic services in Clemson.
I went in because there was no appointment necessary.
Unfortunately they are still billing me.
Evidently I have to come in to sign a termination of service letter.
I have explained that I do not live in Clemson, but that does not seem to matter.
They now need me to send a registered letter discussing the reason for termination... They are continuing to Bill my credit card. This has to be some sort of scam.

Firstly the setting on the outside the tables are rocking not stable.
Secondly the waitress actually demanded a tip when she didn't give as good service 🚮i didn't get her name but bad

Terrible. The service was horrendous, my back ACHED as soon as I left and I had to wait 2 entire hours JUST to get an appointment. Never come here

Santa Fe Location. Awesome, great, outstanding. None of the other issues I saw from other reviewers here. Cody is one of the best chiropractors I’ve seen in years. Thorough exam/consultation and great follow-on instructions beyond just “come back.” Thrilled to have discovered this location! There are lots of packages/ways to sign up or you can do it per-visit. Nothing hidden, no tricks. Great front desk staff too.

My experience in downers Grove Illinois was terrible. The chiropractor was very cold, never asked a question, never checked to see was I OK, was very unapproachable, she act as if I was bothering her by being there. People are already nervous about having the procedure done, it was my second time ever getting an adjustment and I was nervous from the beginning. I will never return to that location again and I will advise anyone else of color not to go!!

I went in for an adjustment for the first time and the practitioner who was talking to me, kept visually touching himself over his pants while he was talking to me and he told me I had a very nice pelvis multiple times

The Joint Chiropractic is for basic care not for anyone that has a particular issue. The Woodlands, TX location is very busy and they treat you as if you are on an assembly line. The quality of care is so so, depends on the chiropractor you see that day. They have a very high turn over rate with chiropractors. I have been getting chiropractic care for 25 years and the joint has the lowest quality chiropractors I've seen.
